The Grinning King Ayin Tenebris is a supporting antagonist of Multiversal Legends. Also known as the Diabolicube, he is a demonic entity that once plagued the omniverse during the Dark Times, nearly destroyed and damaging Multiverse-XI during his conquest. He leads an order of demons and shadow entities, such as The Beast who once served him, and is revered as a Chaos god of evil, shadows, darkness, chaos, and destruction due to his immense powers. Not much is known of the entity back then, beyond the fact he emerged during the supposed demise of Nekrozoth and sought to hold the mantle of being "The Master of All Evil" and was a major player during the Dark Times.
He was feared for his powers and evil, so much so that Shadowlord Ahriman, the co-creator of evil itself, was scared of him and dared not to cross the entity. Long has it been speculated he might be from the 00 Maleverse which has been confirmed to be the case. He is confirmed to be one of the four leaders of the Chaos God faction, the Voidstriders, who serves the void deity Xorinoc.
After being defeated, he was sealed in a cube for his crimes, with only eyes being presented in each end. He was sent to the Pandora Dimension as an extra precaution, but over the millennia he has since joined Xuriah D'arcmast'r in his conquest solely so he could return back to his original form and break out from his cubic imprisonment.

Past[]
Not much is known about the Grinning King's origins, beyond the fact he was a Chaos Sorcerer, a member of the Chaos Gods like Ravagus, who grew to power during Nekrozoth's rule as the supreme maker of all things evil. He was named Tenebris, and once Nekrozoth was defeated by Daevios Brightmore/Legend, Tenebris decided to take advantage of the power vacuum left by Nekrozoth to become "The Next Nekrozoth" as so many other villains sought to become. He has gathered an army, recruiting beings such as The Beast, to lead a campaign of destruction and death in his hunger for chaos and power.
During those times, he would give power to other rogues such as Malitch Darkstein (who was making deals with several other dark gods besides The Unknown) and The Beast, gaining more followers and minions.
His vicious conquest forced 1/3rd of the Omniverse Protection Force's resources to put him down, as he was nearly damaged the entire omniverse with his conquest and frightening powers. Many perished by the King's hands, but they were at least successful in defeating him and sealing him in a "Diabolicube" with the other more dangerous convicts in Pandora.
Prison War[]
Many many centuries later, Xuriah D'arcmast'r staged a massive prison break and began a conquest across the Pandora Dimension, in a massive wave of slaughter. There he would encounter hordes of Diabolicubes, one containing the Grinning King. Ahriman advised against using the one containing the evil entity, knowing full well how absolutely dangerous he is once released. Xuriah acknowledges the risk, but still took the Cube but only plans to release him as a contingency if everything goes south. He would later take the rest with him, releasing the demon Aka Manah from his prison to attack the Earth as well as Universe-X10 to distract the Champions.

- He is a composite of two characters, Tenebris being made by Powermonger2003 when he was BrandonDarkOne47, and The Grinning King being a character made by a user named LordBey0nd. Power required the rights to the character when Bey0nd gave his work to the user XOBITES, whom in turn XOBITES gave it to Powermonger2003/BrandonDarkOne47 in a discussion on Discord. The artwork was also created by LordBey0nd.
