Ha'Kesh (Hakesha), The Beast, The Bat King, The God of Darkness, also known as Octavian Augustus is a major antagonist of Legends of the Champions Universe. He is an ancient inter dimensional vampiric entity and the creator of the vampires, and a being who traveled to different dimensions and devouring its inhabitants with his army of cosmic monsters known as "The Shadow Gods". He went to Earth during historic times, devoured all of the dinosaurs and was present during the dawn of humanity. During his time on Earth he was worshiped as a god of night until humanity decided to worship other gods, thinking humanity did not love him enough he decided to created the Vampires to wipe them all out. However the vampires betrayed him and banished him to his home dimension in order to prevent him from returning and ravaging the planet. Ha'Kesh is said to be the most evil vampire to ever live due to his goal of ending all life on Earth so the other vampires.
He is the leader of The Disciple of The Beast, who seeks to help him return to the planet Earth and ravage all the humans and vampires off the Earth. He plans to "Drown the world in blood", by create another horde of monsters for him to kill off all everything in the world and continue on another world to repeat the process. He rules the Hakesha Pyramid and seeks to create another horde of monsters for him to kill off all everything in the world and plunge it in eternal darkness.
He is the Legends of the Champions Universe's incarnation of Niklovich, however he is a de-composite character of Nyarlathotep and therefore is not a son of Nekrozoth in this universe.
History[]
Ha'Kesh was an ancient dimension-traveling entity who lived for trillions of years and was worshiped as a god of darkness across dimensions. Over the course of his lifetime, he enters a dimension and devours its inhabitants for his own entertainment. One day he landed on Earth and slaughtered all of the dinosaurs, then rested in a cave for millions of years until humanity emerges. When humanity was born, Ha'Kesh awoken from his slumber and saw his potential "slaves" that will worship him.
He enslaved humanity, and forced them to worship him as a god of the night as he come in night time to eat a human as his means of blood sacrifices. However, the humans created their own gods to worship which angered Ha'Kesh greatly and decided that they deserve to be eradicated off the Earth for their "betrayal". He decided to create vampirism by kidnapping and converting humans into vampires and have them slaughter humans across the planet. He planned that all life on the planet should be eradicated, when the vampires learned of this goal they soon betrayed him helped humanity in defeating him. They sealed him in a sarcophagus and threw him in the same cave he once slumbered in and sealed it with a magic curse.
However, some of the vampires and humans still worships Ha'Kesh out of blind faith and wanted to free their master and help him in his mad goal. They formed a cult in his name and seek to release him from his imprisonment in order to end the world. Thousands of years later, he reemerged when he drove a town insane and have them worship him as a fearsome and ruthless god demanding blood sacrifices, sending humans to a magical cave near the town which lead to his home dimension and have them enter his cave for him to eat them alive. Some of these victims even include animals and even children, all to satisfy his hunger and sadism.
The cult who rules the town brought an avatar of him onto the Earth, and took a form of a vampiric necromancer named Niklovich and slaughtered the whole town and resurrect them as his undead slaves for him to take over the Earth. His new goal is to "drown the Earth in blood", his way of saying of wanting to wipe out all life on Earth and rule it with an army of the dead.
Appearance[]
Ha'Kesh's true form is that of a gigantic demonic bat creature with hove for feet, razor sharp fangs, black fur, light brown skin, and glowing red eyes. He also has brown garments covering his waste and and golden chains on the garments, even possessing a gold ring and a gold tooth. His legs are scaly and draconic,
As "Niklovich", he took the form of a vampire of grey skin with red skeletal like armor and black hair. He also has red eyes like his old form and is rather pale skinned.
Personality[]
Ha'Kesh is a wicked entity of consumption and ego, showing malignant narcissism and a twisted need for attention. He is extremely homicidal, arrogant, corrupt, genocidal and utterly ruthless with a desire for revenge on every single being on the planet Earth. He sees both vampires and humans as equally inferior, mainly due to the fact they betrayed him years ago. However he shown pettiness as he despises humans for not loving him enough and not giving him enough worship, and show to despise their gods as well for stealing his followers (slaves in other words) from him and seeks to eradicate them all as retribution. He is highly intelligent and manipulative, as he tend to be convincing and very cunning as he has been planning several attempts in bringing the demise of humanity and vampire kind. He treats anyone who seems to care for him as pawns and will gladly discard them once they no longer useful to him. He is also very abusive of his own followers, as he tends to devour one of them either for failure or just for no reason other than he can.
His vindictive hatred toward humanity and vampires to distrust his own followers, who are themselves vampires and humans as he see them to be backstabbing traitors and snakes. However this may make him a bit hypocritical as he still rely on human and vampiric followers though he might just be using them as a means to an end and will not hesitate to slaughter them all with his new monstrous army. He doesn't show true care for his monstrous creations, as he sees them as mere extension of himself and show that he will dispose of them once they no longer serve as useful.
He is also extremely sadistic as he enjoys killing countless people for his enjoyment, and also enjoys toying other people's emotions for self-gain and devouring countless dimensions for no reason other than he enjoys it. He has no reason for his vileness, he stated that he committed all of his atrocities out of his own free will and has full control of his actions. He has massive god complex as he sees himself as a god above all gods and thinks he can do whatever he please. He is aware of the carnage and death he causes and know what he is doing is wrong, and gleefully enjoys doing them and refuse to do anything right.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Umbramancy: Can control the forces of darkness and shadows, as he is a deity of darkness. He often cover himself in shadows to hide or disappear by turning himself into a mass of darkness.
- Infernokinesis: Has the ability to control hellish fire from the depths of hell, using them to scorch his enemies and can breath hellish fire from his maws.
- Shapeshifting: Can change his form, mass, and weight into almost anything. He has once transformed into a human necromancer on Earth.
- Flight: Has the ability to fly whenever he transform into his true form which is a gigantic bat-like demon. He is shown to be faster than a jet in terms of flight.
- Necromancy: As "Niklovich", he has the ability to transform people into his undead servants and create undead abominations through the corpses of his victims. He uses this to make him an army of undead creatures for him to take over the Earth.
Trivia[]
- Despite being LOTCU's version of Niklovich, he and Nyarlathotep are separate entities in this universe. therefore he is not the son of Nekrozoth and is his own individual entity.
- He is based on an old idea and one of the original plan BrandonDarkOne47 had for Niklovich/Ha'Kesh being an eldritch vampire but not being Nyarlathotep himself.
- Despite he and Nyarlathotep being separate characters in this universe, they have encountered each other before and have respects for each other due to their chaotic behavior and sadism.
