The Handler serves as the main antagonist in 1LazyMF's 2024 Friday Night Funkin' cover project, Lazy's Octcover, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1 and the overarching main antagonist of Season 2.
A vengeful maniac, he is best known as one of the villainous protagonists from the game Cruelty Squad. For a time, The Handler was also the profile picture for 1LazyMF's channel until the introduction of Lazy's Octcover. When The Handler discovers that Lazy plans to replace him with the new mascot, Napper, he devises a plan to eliminate everyone and reclaim his position as the channel's mascot. His scheme unfolds during the supposed final battle, where he bombs everyone in Napper's hideout to set up a showdown with Boyfriend. After Boyfriend is crushed by a boulder, Napper emerges from the debris to confront The Handler, declaring that after tonight, no one will remain under his control. Napper ultimately defeats The Handler by shooting him in the head, officially taking his place as the channel's mascot.
The Handler is voiced/sampled by JimothyRoss, who also voiced him in Max0r's Cruelty Squad video.
Appearance[]
Handler takes the form of how he usually looks in the Cruelty Squad game, he is a unknown mass of either flesh or a really mutated human, with a egregious scar over his eye which is hidden in Lazy's Octcover, wears a hat that reads: Godhead Heavy Industries", and has a row of teeth colored like flesh.
Trivia[]
- Octcover Handler is definitely by all means way more different and simpler than Canon Handler, and his inaccuracy is also what makes him not the strongest villain on the channel.
- The Handler was also planning on murdering Lazy, the channels owner, as well so he can take the channel for himself.
- Many other antagonists were planned for the climax of Season 1, but Handler was chosen after Lazy saw the opportunity.
- He was obviously highly inspired by Tweaking Boss from FNF: Weekly.
