Hans (The 1945 German Minecraft Experiment)

Hans is the main antagonist of the Minecraft creepypasta The 1945 German Minecraft Experiment by TheFakeZ3nu, and a major antagonist of its remake Meinkraft: Weltkrieg. He is one of the Nazi Germany soldiers who managed to escape Germany before its defeat in World War II and wound up in the world of Minecraft.

Hans wears black SS uniform with a Nazi armband on his left arm and a helmet. His face is obscured by a grey gas mask.

Past[]

Hans was one of the 113 Germans who boarded Die Glocke, a legendary Nazi machine, in order to escape the Allied onslaught by accessing another dimension. For decades, nobody knew where Die Glocke ended up.

Present[]

In 2021, as a Minecraft player John was exploring a world in the game, he saw someone chat "Hey who are you" in German. Scared, John turned around and saw a Nazi soldier. He quit the world and checked if he had any mods installed or if Minecraft had been updated, but neither was the case. John re-entered the world and found himself in a Nazi camp, where Hans walked up to him and asked who he was. John said he was a Minecraft player, which Hans, due to being unaware of the concept of video games, didn't understand. While Hans was distracted, John fled and hid in a cave, but not before taking a screenshot of the German soldiers.

Next month, a different player, Mark, encountered Nazis with Hans among them in his hardcore world. He fought them with his netherite sword, but their tank shattered his armor. Hans then spoke to Mark, assuming him to be an Allied soldier, and ordered soldiers to take him to the prison. Mark, however, was saved by a Mojang employee accessing his world. Hans mistook the employee for an Allied man as well and ordered to shoot him. As the Nazis failed to kill him and Mark escaped, Hans got mad, causing the world to crash.

Desperate to find a way to remove Nazis from the game, Mojang added Herobrine back into Minecraft. He managed to rid several worlds of Nazis by erasing them until he finally reached Mark's world. Hans noticed him and ordered his men to attack. When this failed and Herobrine threatened to erase Nazis out of existence, Hans decided to sacrifice himself to defeat him, charging at him with a sub machine gun, and managed to steal Herobrine's debug stick. He pointed it at Herobrine, erasing him.

With Herobrine gone, Jeb coded Entities 303, 404 and 666 into the game in hope they would stop Hans. As the Entities and Mark searched for Nazis in the jungle temple, Entity 404 split off from the group and was shot to death by Hans. He then fought Entity 303, but couldn't defeat him, until a German warplane arrived and dropped bombs on his enemy, fatally wounding him. As Hans questioned him why so many people were out to kill him, 303 accused the Nazi of destroying the Minecraft spirit. Entity 666 then attacked Hans, but was erased with the debug stick, with 303 dying shortly after.

Eventually, Null arrived into Mark's world to haunt it, but as he prepared to haunt Mark himself, Nazis saw him, believing him to be Mark's friend. When a fight between the Nazis, Null and a Mojang employee broke out, with a timer set to erase the world in 10 minutes, Hans destroyed the timer just as it was about to reach zero and killed Null with the debug stick.

Much later, after the fight between Nazis and the Brines, assisted by Mark, Hans appeared with a group of tanks. With the story unfinished, it's currently unknown what happened next and if Hans was ever defeated.

Meinkraft: Weltkrieg[]

Like in the original story, Hans was a German soldier who escaped to another dimension via Die Glocke to make sure the spirit of German Reich lived on.

Present[]

Over 75 years later, a German Minecraft player was streaming, only to see a silhouette of a German soldier in the distance even though he never installed any mods, causing the viewers to go wild in the chat. More Germans appeared throughout the world as the stream continued, and one of them was approaching Ben's mob grinder.

Ben's grandfather, an ex-SS Panzer Corps soldier who witnessed Die Glocke's launch in person, seemed to have recognized Hans, and told his grandson to run away. This didn't save him and Hans paralyzed Ben and demanded to know why he was building something on the Nazis' territory. When Ben tried explaining to him that they were in his Minecraft world, Hans initially mistook Ben for having a God complex and believed Minecraft to be a board game. As the two kept arguing, Ben's grandfather decided to take action and had his grandson close the game. Hans doesn't appear after that, and it's unknown what happened to him next.

Trivia[]

Hans having the Sturmscharffurher rank indicates that he most likely serves in the SS.
Hans frequently switches between speaking English and German, though he isn't the only Nazi who knows English, as Freisinger served as a translator for Null.
- In Minecraft: Weltkrieg, however, he only speaks German, likely due to all characters so far being German in this version.
