Harold Graysmith is the titular main antagonist of the Kid vs. Dictator franchise.
He is the main antagonist of the original show Kid vs. Dictator, specifically being the overarching antagonist of the first season and the main antagonist of the remaining five seasons. He is also one of the two main antagonists (alongside Demsog) of the Kid vs. Dictator film trilogy, specifically being one of the two main antagonists (alongside Demsog) of the first film Kid vs. Dictator: Armageddon, the main antagonist of the second film Kid vs. Dictator: Rebirth and a posthumous antagonist in the final film Kid vs. Dictator: Aftermath.
He is the ruthless, tyrannical dictator of East Unoso willing to torture and murder and lock up anyone who opposes him. He wants to invade and conquer West Unoso and later the entire world so he can gain more and more power for himself.
He is the archenemy of the titular kid Lord Ranark who lives in West Unoso and wants to stop him from taking over his home. up to the rest of the world and ends

Harold Graysmith is a ruthless, tyrannical and murderous dictator willing to kill absolutely anyone who gets in his way no matter how big or small there role in the government is. He has an absolute desire to hold on to his power no matter the cost, When he first rose to power in the government his first act was to purge it of anyone he deemed as disloyal either killing them or sending them to labor camps. This shows his willingness to do anything to hold on to his power. He also does the same thing to citizens either killing them or sending them to labor camps when he feels there no longer loyal to his current regime. Even his own family is not safe from his desire to hold on to his power he sent an assassin after his brother so he could not challenge him for power, despite the fact his brother did not want the position and his own son who he sent off to the labor camps when he did not meet his expectations and did not believe exactly everything he did and showed some compassion.
Graysmith is also extremely sadistic he would often implement draconian laws just to watch his citizens suffer more even if it jeopardizes his power. Which is the only time he is willing to do something that could get his power removed as his sadism is nearly unquenchable. Other examples of him using his power to quench his sadism are, having random prisoners, even ones that are useful, executed in the most brutal way possible while he is watching, Making every job purposefully harder just so his citizens can continue to suffer, And purposely taking away food so he can have his citizen suffer and starve.
He is also shown to be arrogant as well. Due to his position as the supreme ruler of Unoso he believes he is completely above the law and can do whatever he wants. Causing him to do some things that could jeopardize his power without even knowing it. His position also means he underestimates many people, mainly Lord Ranark because in his mind he is just a kid. Which causes many of his plans to fail and eventually leads to his death. Though Graysmith is not completely arrogant he understands that he is not untouchable and if simply the military turns on him he would be done for. As well as the fact there are several other people powerful people in his government that could have him deposed, which is why he often executes anyone he sees as disloyal.
Graysmith is also shown to get easily angry, especially when his plans are going badly though, despite that he does often act calm and collected. His anger can especially lead to him mistreating his minions also showing he has little tolerance for failure often sending them to a labor camp or executing them if they fail too much. His anger got worse throughout the season and several points going into long rants about Lord Ranark after he stops his plans over and over again.
Despite often preaching East Unosoen nationalism, in reality, he does not care at all about his country and also wanted to be the dictator of it for the power it would give him. He is perfectly willing to have his entire country destroyed if it means he gets to rule the world. This fact is something that would later get several people to turn on him.
Graysmith is also extremely Paranoid about almost everything he lives in constant fear of being overthrown. He tends to overthink everything he does and not trust anyone around him, he only cares about other people's loyalty and will have someone killed at the slightest sign of them being disloyal as already mentioned. This paranoia has caused Graysmith to suffer from ill-health due to constant sleep deprivation due to his Paranoia and constant stress put on him. He tries to solve this in many ways like taking drugs to get to sleep better or quenching his own sadism so he enjoys being a dictator more.
Despite living in a world where magic exists, he is almost totally ignorant about it. This is in part due to Unoso's separation from the rest of the world for a majority of its history and the fact Graysmith didn't think magic was useful. Due that he mostly used advanced tech to fight his enemies like tanks and hackers and jet planes to name a few. Though this trait mostly disappeared after being resurrected by the magical Demsog.
After Lord Ranark foiled his plan several times Graysmith started to develop an extreme hatred for him. He increasingly stopped caring about his original goal of trying to take over West Unoso and cared more about stopping Ranark at all costs. He ended up squandering his best troops and assassins and nearly all of his money in an effort to stop him, which also caused his paranoia and stress to get even worse. His motivation also gradually shifted from wanting to invade West Unoso for power to revenge for being constantly stopped by Ranark. Even after he was resurrected by Demsog with a new goal to bring about Armageddon, he cared more about stopping Ranark rather than bringing Armageddon.
After being Resurrected by Demsog he becomes even worse. Now angry that he had all his power taken away from him, he wants to destroy the entire world with Armageddon for revenge. He starts to even become more effective at magic after being given several powers by Demsog making him even more powerful than he was before. He also became even more arrogant now truly believing he was completely unstoppable and that nobody was able to stop him even causing him to end up betraying Demsog so he can rule the world all on his own.
In conclusion, Harold Graysmith is nothing more than a tyrannical, sadistic, heartless, madman who wants nothing more than to gain as much power as possible and rule the world and is willing to do absolutely anything to achieve that which includes killing anyone that gets in his way even his own family.
