Henry’s Mother is the overarching antagonist of the 2022 comedy theatrical film, The Life of Henry, based on the life and times of the actual Henry.
She is the abusive and neglectful biological mother of Henry Wang, who randomly decided that her son should get a circumcision surgery for no reason. Her actions in the play would ultimately mold Henry into the person he is today.
She is portrayed by Janice in her first villainous role.
Biography[]
Henry’s Mother is first seen giving birth to the titular character of the play, Henry Wang. During this, she calls him a sussy baka before he even left the womb. Eventually, the baby would be born, but Henry’s Mother would leave her son to his own devices, which would cause an unnamed Murderer to sneak up on him and attempt to kill him. Luckily for Henry, he is able to fend off the Murderer.
She later appeared during Henry’s early childhood. She interrupts Henry’s masturbation session to ask him to go to the doctor’s with her. But, much to Henry’s dismay, it would be a circumcision surgery. After the surgery is complete, Henry would ultimately break down into tears. It is unknown what happened to her afterwards, but it can be assumed that the Father of Henry Wang would file for divorce thanks to Henry’s Mother’s neglect and abuse of her son.
Trivia[]
- In an earlier draft of the play, one of Henry’s parents would replace Henry Wang with cats. This was ultimately cut from the final version, but if this concept was kept, it can be assumed that Henry’s Mother would be the one to replace him.
