History[]
Haunting of Herobrine[]
The film starts off with Steve reminiscing about the time he bought a haunted house alongside his unnamed friend, Steve takes a tour of the cottage, and starts talking about the times where he has seen and heard an unknown figure lurking around his home. Steve sets up cameras in each of the rooms and nothing happens until 11:26 AM when Herobrine teleports near Steve's bed, then vanishing without a trace. The next day Steve and the camera man sail out and find a small pyramid made out of sand, Steve remembers an old legend of Herobrine, who would place these pyramids around the land. He refuses to believe in it and thinks it's all just a joke.
The next night Steve is cleaning up in the kitchen and soon heads off to bed, Herobrine teleports near the foot of his bed and disappears when Steve wakes up. The next morning Steve heads into a nearby cave and discovers two gravestones with the names "Todd" and "Dodd". The room then turns dark and Herobrine stands at the end of a passage way between the two graves, causing the duo to retreat. Later that night Steve goes outside with the camera to investigate a bright light outside, finding a dungeon inside the rocks. He wakes up from his dream and the next day he finds that the area does indeed exist. He and the camera man go down their with equipment and find a Herobrine beacon and Herobrine comes out of a secret passageway, warping the world around them as the camera man puts out the beacon and takes off with Steve.
The two now believe in Herobrine and plan on trapping him, the next night Herobrine burns down the dock and the two put out the flames. The two look over the CCTV footage the next day that it was indeed Herobrine who set fire to the hut down. At night, the two try to contact and banish Herobrine, but the place starts blowing up and catches on fire. The camera man tries to find Steve but dies due to unknown circumstances, although Steve's body is never found and neither is the crater, basement, or plans of a cellar. There was also no evidence of Herobrine being at the scene.
Haunting of Herobrine II[]
The opening of the film shows a flashback of the death of a young Adrian's father, after Adrian starts experiencing signs of paranormal activity around the house he's staying at. The house catches on fire and Adrian's father runs upstairs and enters a hidden room containing a note from a man named Bradley. He hands the note to his son and Adrian runs away, just as Herobrine appears and kills his father, his screams being heard from inside the burning building.
Years later, Adrian's son, John, is a fully grown paranormal investigator staying a few nights at the Terra Hotel, he meets the manager Pablo, who gives him the run down on the events happening around the area during the day. John sets up cameras except for the basement and catches nothing the first night, but starts hallucinating Herobrine the next day. However on the second night Herobrine is caught roaming the hotel and jumpscares one of the cameras. John also discovers that the 33rd room in the hotel appears to be haunted, possibly being the hideout of Herobrine. John gains access to the roof and discovers a hidden room with a Herobrine beacon, he puts it out and the next day he finds what appears to be a wrecked docking area linked to his father.
The next night John goes into the basement with a camera and finds that Herobrine is most active down there, he chases John out and the next morning he starts to believe that Herobrine is not a ghost but is actually a malicious demon that has come to the overworld to torment people. He then sets up cameras in the basement with the full intention of sending Herobrine to Hell to avenge the death of his father. He then travels outside the hotel and finds a hidden underground passageway leading to a stronghold, he is then teleported outside the area in front of a stone obelisk with Herobrine standing away from him. John is then lifted against the obelisk and wakes up from a nightmare, running back to the hotel.
John finds out that there are other spirits in the hotel and tries to ward them out, but it fails and a jutebox starts playing before being shut off. The two leave and Herobrine starts becoming more and more active as the night progresses, people then come over to the hotel and enter the main dining room, however they all become corrupted by Herobrine and he jumpscares another camera. John goes outside the next day and heads into a mineshaft and comes back out in a new area with a chest containing a diary from Adrian, who has information about a cult that worships Herobrine.
The next night John manages to enter room 33 and discovers the room covered in blood with an enchantment table. He jumps out the broken window and the next day John discovers that the spirit of his father is guiding him to putting an end to Herobrine's terror. Herobrine then appears in front of them and later on it's revealed that John's father is holding Herobrine's powers back. The next night John heads into the stronghold and is hit into a portal by Herobrine. He is then teleported to the obelisk and Herobrine holds him onto it, John starts chanting the cult language which indirectly makes Herobrine more powerful. Herobrine teleports away and John heads into the small gap in the ground, finding a beacon and putting the flame out. He then runs outside and back to the hotel which has now caught on fire. He heads up to the attic of the burning building and discovers another beacon, which he puts out. However John does not survive the fire and Pablo's body is not found. It's possible that he either died from the fire or Herobrine succeeded in killing him just as the beacon was put out, which seemingly prevents Herobrine from coming into the human world once more.
When the emergency services arrive to put out the fire they find no evidence of an obelisk or a clearing at the end of the forest path. A scene plays showing Herobrine presumably in another world along with two miners.
