Hydros, also known as the Ice Titan, is a minor villain in the Character What series, and a supporting antagonist from Disney 1997 full length animated film Hercules. He is skeletal humanoid Titan composed of ice with a dragon-like head, and a member of The Forces of Evil.
Personality[]
Like most of the other Titans, Hydros is fearsome, aggressive, disastrous and destructive, as he is willing to destroyed anything in his path. He is vengeful, willing to destroy Zeus for imprisoning him eons ago. He is also not very bright, as when he and and other Titans went into the opposite direction to Mount Olympus until Hades remind them that they are heading the wrong way.
Background[]
Thousands years ago, Hydros was one of the fives Titans causing destruction upon the Earth (a least Greece) until they were imprisonment in between the seas of Tartarus by Zeus as punishment for their crimes.
Character What: The Adventures[]
In Hercules, Hydros along with the other Titans reprise from film, when they were released by Hades to help him in his plot to takeover Mount Olympus and overthrown Zeus. However, Hydros was destroyed when Hercules uses Stratos to suck up Hydros along with the other two Titans and then throws Stratos with the others into space, when the impact resulted in a explosion.
Character What: Tales[]
In a unknown point in time, Hydros was either revived by Shadow Aaron or Maleficent. Shadow Aaron send out Hydros to terrorize Ponyville, but was defeated by Shadow Joe when he devaluated Hydros into a smaller size.
Character What: New Hope[]
In Hades Challenge, Hydros return to his regular size, and chosen by Hades to challenge Shadow Joe in the Coliseum, but Hydros was defeated by Shadow Joe.
Powers and Abilites[]
- Ice Mimicry: Hydros is a titan made of entirely ice.
- Ice Breath: Hydros can breathe blizzards out of his mouth, which can freeze anything in ice. He can also breathe ice shards from his mouth as offensives.
- Super Strength: Hydros possesses superhuman strength.
- Regeneration: Hydros can quickly regrow lost limbs in mere seconds.
- Immortality: Being a god, Hydros is immortal, as he survives being trapped in Tartarus for thousands of years without dying.
- Cold Immunity: Due to being made of solid ice, Hydros is immune to freezing temperatures.
Weaknesses[]
Being of made of ice, Hydros is vulnerable to fire-based attacks generated by Shadow Joe and Heatblast.
