Hyness Lord is the main antagonist of The Great Holiday Caper. He is a warlord from pre-Galar that who is an enemy to the Legends and returned to Earth from banishment twelve-thousand years ago to conquer it for the death of his son Kami Lord. He is Sir Max's and Link Stone's arch-nemesis.
Appearance[]
Hyness is a man with fair skin and black hair that turned when he got old and a white mustache and blue eyes. He wears a white robe with a hood with gold trims with symbols on them, his face becomes obscured in pitch black darkness and his eyes glow yellow when his hood is up. He also wears white shorts, socks and gray sandals underneath his robe.
In his Kaiju form, his body becomes completely covered in darkness that makes him immune to every attack unless he is struck by Link Stone's attacks when he is in his Apollo Zodiac form, he dons an armored robe which is a gray cloak with dark flames on every end, black shoulder pads with blue edges and white Jambastion symbols on each pair, a red helmet with red appendages with crystal balls on them, gold base with a zigzag pattern, gold and black striped horns that dark flames flaring on the tips, and a black Jambastion symbol, underneath is hood is the same appearance as his normal form but with fangs, he has red and magenta hands with beige fingers and red fingernails, and his wrists are gold rings with a white sharp blade on the second pair of rings and his arms are invisible.
Personality[]
Hyness is a hateful, vengeful, cruel, arrogant, and vile who wants to destroy the Legends for the death of his son after he was rejected and conquer the world. He is a serious man as he couldn't stand the Jammerjabs' idiocy when the mention Link Stone repeatedly. He could tolerate rejection as he was devasted when he saw the Queen of England choose Sir Max as protector of England over his son Kami Lord and he was so blinded by this that he did nothing to stop Kami Lord's rampage across London and he continued to hold grudge against the Legends ever since and his vow to the Jammerjabs that they will never be rejected if they follow him.
Despite his cruel and evil personality, he used show care to his son, Kami Lord prior to his death as he believes that he has great potential to be protector of England until things go south for him when the Queen of England chooses Sir Max over him, he was devastated when seeing his son's rejection.
Biography[]
Twelve-thousand years ago, Hyness found and infant Kami Lord at the dock and raised him as his own son, he believed in him and felt that he would make a great protector for England that he has him do harsh training, it wasn't enough for him. After years of training, Hyness was expecting that his destiny would be fulfilled but the Queen of England chooses Sir Max over Kami Lord for having darkness in his heart. This ultimately causes Kami Lord's destructive rampage and death. Hyness knows that his son's death was all Sir Max's fault and decide to find a way to destroy his mystic organization, the Legends and conquer the world for this.
Later when Jambastion comes in, Hyness rallies them up to assassinate Link Stone's family to begin his revenge, he waits until the Jammerjabs badly injure them and then kills them, he blames the death of his parents on Link, Hyness tells everyone in the graveyard about the ambush and Link has died along with his parents but unbeknownst to him, Link ends up twelve-thousand years into the future and starts a brand new life in Almia.
Later, Jambastion and Hyness were banished from Earth for terrorism across the world after he defeated the Legends and sent to an exile planet where they get sealed off, twelve-thousand years later, he is later encountered by the Three-Mage Sisters who saw his history and left him for Earth.
Later, a mysterious evil fleet from the mirror arrives to Jambastion's exile planet and leads them back to Earth, Hyness stows away on the Polar Express so he can kidnap and enslave passengers onboard, he kidnaps Daroach and takes him away. He unscrews the headlight to prevent being notice, he sabotages the train's brake when it stops because Suicune is alerting the group about some north wind in the way and later threatened by Monster Mam and then Kracko, he kidnaps Gooey afterwards but is caught by Link Stone, unaware that he's alive, he shoots a shadowy orb at him so he can escape to the North Pole not noticing that Francisca saw him leave to there.
When the Jammerjabs planted a bomb to kill the group, Hyness sends Dark Link, Shadow the Hedgehog, Dark Samus, and Cosmic Clone to prevent them from deactivating the bomb but were beaten by Ho-Oh and the bomb is defused afterwards. upon learning about their failure, he wrecks the North Pole and turn it into the Jamba Pole and summons a storm to engulf the sky.
After the train arrives to the North Pole and it's brakes were fixed thanks the Legendary Giants and Kirby gets kidnapped by the Jammerjabs, Hyness message everyone with a fake truce which was informing everyone on Earth about his upcoming global war, he has everyone be off the train so they will be slaves, Frostspark Marth tries to convince him to give up and move on but he refuses, inciting a fight with Hyness attempting to enslave him but suddenly a flash of green light appears, Hyness thought it was Sir Max at first but it was Link Stone who arrived to fulfill his destiny as Master Legend. Link, along Zelda Goldenflash who rallied up Santa Claus and all the passengers confront him but Hyness has Link question that his parents' deaths were his fault and corners at a ledge and grabs him as lightning strikes the chasm, starting a fire as a result. He grabs Link by the throat and attempts to throw him into the flames before confessing that he is the one who killed Belle and Kevin Stone. Upon hearing this, he breaks free and exposes him for his murder and Hyness still thinks he is the killer, but nobody bought it as Marth stated that he lied to everyone. With his treachery exposed, Hyness orders his Jammerjabs to kill everyone present before leaving them to fight the passengers but notices them fleeing upon defeat, Dark Link gets knocked into the flames. Link notices Hyness and the two chase him to the giant Christmas tree, as soon as they corner him, Hyness destabilizes the ground below them so it would collapse and the couple would burn but they manage to defeat Hyness thanks to Link being engulfed by Kracko's lightning that he was electrocuted with and he burns but he survives. Enraged, Hyness engulfs the entire planet in darkness and absorbs all the darkness in the North Pole before fleeing into space.
He uses the darkness from the North Pole to transform into a Kaiju-sized form, Link attempts to attack him but all of his and Beedrill's attacks were not effective against him until Link runs out of air but luckily the Comet Observatory arrives and Rosalina resurrects Link, turning him into a Kaiju-sized angel that defeats and depowers him but he ends up on the Comet Observatory where Link confronts him one last time, Hyness attempts to frame the Three-Mage Sisters for his atrocities and his attempt to kill them, unaware that they heard him. Link doesn't buy it though but decides not to kill him knowing that he is not the killer Hyness is but send him to exile until Hyness violently attacks him and makes one last attempt to kill him but Link manages to throw him off the Comet Observatory, causing him to crash land back to the North Pole.
As he gets confronted by the group, Hyness attempts to manipulate them into joining Jambastion so that it would be powerful than ever but they refuse because the Three-Mage Sisters told them about his attempt on them, he tries to assure them that he was trying to deceive Link and pleads for them to join but, had enough, Zan Partizanne decides to put an end to him by dropping a giant Christmas Star on him while Marth prevents him from getting out of the way, crushing him to death plus, avenging Belle and Kevin Stone and all the others he killed in his previous invasion.
Villainous Acts[]
- He did nothing to stop his son, Kami Lord's rampage across London for rejecting him for Sir Max as protector of England.
- He rallies Jambastion up to start his revenge against the Legends for the death of his son.
- He murders Link Stone's parent in cold blood and makes it look like he murdered them, leaving him orphaned. (MORAL EVENT HORIZON)

- What Adeleine said, he secretly sabotaged the train's brakes so that the train would end up into a blizzard and later encountered by a territorial Monster Mam and Kracko, endangering dozens of passengers on the train as a result.

- Hyness serves as a foil to both Sir Max and Link Stone:
- He serves as a dark reflection of Sir Max, in which Sir Max is a compassionate, wise, caring, and benevolent Grand Master of the Legends while Hyness is a callous, arrogant, vengeful, and tyrannical warlord that cares about getting revenge against those who wronged him and took away what's his.
- He also serves as a dark parallel of Link Stone as both lost a member of their family which was Hyness's son, Kami Lord and in Link's case, his parents and ended up twelve-thousand years later in which Link Stone stayed happy and is compassionate, kind, brave, good-sported, flamboyant, and honest while Hyness let the loss engulf him into being a vengeful, cruel, tyrannical, deceiving, selfish and vile and both held a grudge against those who to took away their beloved one which Link was against Jambastion for the death of his parents while Hyness was against the Legends for the death of his son, and if Link Stone let his loss consume him and continued to hold grudges against those who wronged him and make him bitter, he would've ended up like Hyness.

- Unlike Frostspark Marth, it is unknown how both Link Stone and Hyness remained in the same age they are in when ended up in twelve-thousand years later.
