Luigi (specifically known as I HATE YOU Luigi in this case) is a major antagonist in the Friday Night Funkin' mod, Mario's Madness. He is the main antagonist of I Hate You and Oh God No.
He was voiced by RedTv53.
Appearance[]
I HATE YOU Luigi wears a green, tarnished cap. His skin is burned off as a result of him falling into lava, revealing red burned flesh. His face is beyond unrecognizable, having only one sunken eyeball. However, his mustache remains somewhat intact. His overalls and shirt have slash marks as well, revealing more charred flesh below them.
Personality[]
Because of his little screen time, Luigi's full personality is mostly unknown, but from what we've seen from him, he appears to be a sadistic, arrogant and manipulative traitor, as he's constantly been fooling and tricking Mario into believing he's on his side. In his final moments, he shows arrogance after proudly posing over Mario's body before being thrown into the lava and screaming his last, haunting words. He's also rather petty, as his main motive for wanting Boyfriend and Girlfriend dead was due to the fact that they dressed as his brother purely to mock him.

Background[]
At some point in time, Luigi allied himself with Mario's arch-nemesis, Bowser, having gotten fed up of living in his brother's shadow. Together, the two would work together to kidnap Peach numerous times and attempt to kill Mario in doing so.
Oh God No[]
When Boyfriend entered I HATE YOU Luigi's world in Woodland of Lies after facing his L is Real counterpart, he and Girlfriend end up inside a decrepit looking sunken ship, which doubles as a castle somehow. There, the two witness Luigi fighting his own brother, Mario, after having revealed he was a double agent for Bowser due to his jealousy towards the former. After a fierce conflict between the brothers, the outcome resulted in Mario being victorious while Luigi fell into the lava below.
I Hate You[]
Following Luigi's apparent death, Mario left the scene, heartbroken. As Boyfriend attempted to comfort him, he noticed a hand emerging from the lava, revealing that Luigi had survived, albeit was now a burnt corpse. Not wanting Mario to have to go through anymore pain, Boyfriend proceeded to challenge him to a rap battle and won, after of which he then understandably knocked Luigi back into the lava and prematurely flipped him off in doing so, finally killing the double agent for good.

- Despite a ROM hack based off the creepypasta being much more popular than the original story, I HATE YOU was originally a written creepypasta, not a ROM.
- The original creepypasta was written to make fun of other pastas by overusing tropes, but ended up being more high-quality and popular than the author expected.
- Slimebeast has seen the mod and made a sequel to I HATE YOU in response to its new-found popularity, written by an AI. He even states in the video's title "AKA That Mario creepypasta from Friday Night Funkin'".[2]
- During the song I Hate You, lava begins to rise up slowly, making seeing oncoming notes nearly impossible. This is a reference to Luigi's fate in the creepypasta, when he got knocked into the lava by Mario.
- As the song progresses, Boos without eyes and drowned Mario corpses appear on the stage to spectate. These are both enemies that appear in the I HATE YOU creepypasta and ROM hack.
- The "I HATE YOU!" text on the walls is also a reference to the original creepypasta, near the start of the level.
- When the mod was in early development, it was originally planned to just be a solo song focusing on IHY Luigi.
- I HATE YOU Luigi is the Mario's Madness botplay.
- This is because I HATE YOU Luigi is probably a fan of Friday Night Funkin', since in the mod's final teaser he defends the developers.
- He serves as a foil to Beta Luigi, as Beta Luigi represents self-loathing and depression while Darth Linguine represents direct hatred and jealousy. Beta Luigi is a suicidal living human who is depressed because he loved his late brother and blames himself for Mario's death. Darth Linguine on the other hand, is a homicidal burnt zombie who is in rage because his brother turned enemy is alive and hated him for being his second banana.
