Idol Rabier is a minor antagonist of the My Hero Academia and Rising of the Shield Hero crossover fanfic King Explosion Murder the Shield Hero, serving as the minor antagonist of chapter 13 and posthumous antagonist of chapter 15. He is a slave trader, a former nobleman and Raphtalia and Rifana's previous abusive owner, who was tasked by Aultcray Melromarc with destruction of the Mirso's new demi-human district.
Biography[]
In past Idol Rabier captured, enslaved, and tortured many demi-human children, including Raphtalia and Rifana, after the First Wave, eventually solding the former off. One day, after nearly beating Rifana to death after the last batch of torture sessions, he got bored of her and ordered his dungeon master to just throw Rifana outside knowing he wasn't going to get his money back after she was nearly dead. A few minutes later he changed his mind and ordered the dungeon master to get her back so that he could stangle her to death in order to torment her one last time. Fortunately for the girl, she was saved by one of the queen Mirellia Q Melromarc's shadows and brought to Van Reichnott's mansion before the dungeon master could do this.
Later Rabier was tasked by king Aultcray Melromarc to destroy the new demi-human district in Mirso and enslave the demi residents with the help of a unit of knights. On the way to Mirso, he speaks with the unit commander, revealing that he is the cousin of the late Lord Smi, who previously ruled the land, and that he intends to take over the territory and rule over it, as well as visit Van Reichnott and punish him for 'rebelling' against the crown. Upon arriving here, Rabier encounters Wyndia and, enraged by her insulting him and his forces, orders his knights to tie her up and bring her to his castle, planning to torture her later. Right after this Wyndia's adoptive father, Gaelion, arrives and attacks his unit, killing all the corrupt knights. Panicking, slaver tries to flee, only for dragon to corner him and break his legs. He then was dragged off to be tortured to death by his former demi-human slaves, all the while begging for Gaelion to just eat him already in order to receive more quick and painless death. Later Rabier's mutilated corpse was discovered in a creek.
