Impius is a being made from the creation of Aliquid, being formed from the destruction that created it. While at first, he just seemed to be some mindless entity wondering around the Omniverse consuming random multiverses, after landing in one multiverse and manifesting in some humanoid form, he took it over and ruled it under a iron fist. His mood often switches from serious to comedic.
Impius serves as a recurring antagonist in the Tales of the Omniverse franchise, serving as a minor antagonist in Multiversal Legends and a supporting antagonist in Forces, while being a mentioned or cameo antagonist in several other works.
He was created by Your Not So Average Guy.
Personality[]
At first, Impius didn't have all that much of a personality due to being a black cloud formed from destruction. He just went to multiple other multiverses and consumed them, and he didn't care about what he was doing at all due to being completely mindless.
However, after gaining an actual form, Impius became more aware of his surroundings and what he was, knowing that he was evil. However, he didn't exactly understand how right and wrong were different, but he just simply didn't care. He doesn't really care for anyone but himself, but he does seem to like animals. He is completely willing to destroy anyone who he truly believes stands in his way or is good in general. He doesn't seem to care about the suffering he brought to his the multiverse he rules and really just sits there on his throne feeling powerful.
He can also be very serious at times, threatening his minions if they fail him and even being willing to kill them. However, he can also not be very serious at times, being comedic even.
Biography[]
Creation[]
After Mendax began to forge several multiverses together, a dark cloud began to form made from the multiverses and Mendax's powers. Once the multiverses were fully forged and became a new multiverse known as Aliquid, the dark cloud emerged from it and it began to roam the omniverse.
The dark cloud didn't know what it was doing, but it kept on consuming multiple multiverses, becoming more and more powerful. After becoming more and powerful, it began to manifest a physical form. After this happened, it crashed into a multiverse, landing somewhere in a field where it killed all life there. It took thousands of years before it finally gained a physical form.
The True Birth of Impius[]
The dark being found itself in the field where it had crashed thousands of years ago, regaining it's memory. However, it now began to understand things better and began to form a personality. He named himself Impius and he no longer sought to devour multiverses for pure power, but he wanted to rule one for himself.
He began taking over planets at first, taking down anyone who stood in his way. Then, eventually, he slowly began to take over each universe in the multiverse. Impius declared himself to be the one true ruler of the multiverse.
Rule over the Multiverse[]
Impius ruled over the multiverse tyrannically, wiping out whoever opposed him. He enslaved many people to do work for him and sadistically tortured those he considered to be prisoners. His minions would also continue taking over multiple universes that remained in the multiverse that weren't taken over yet. He also caused mass chaos to some universes he just saw as pathetic.
Impius eventually became bored with the multiverse, not knowing what to do with it. Impius eventually found something lurking in one of his multiverses, something sinister. He went over to it to see what it was.
Trivia[]
- He is heavily inspired by Aku from the Samurai Jack franchise.
- He is the first villain from YNSAG who is comic relief, given that most of his other villains were mostly serious.
