Impostor is a major recurring character from the YouTube channel Arcade Craniacs. Formerly a lover of Edward's, he turned villainous later on.
Origin[]
One day, Edward and his girlfriend Nicole decided to order the Among Us happy meal at 3AM. Since he placed his order at 3AM, he was able to order from the secret menu. But when they opened the meal, it turned out to be horrible. Later they heard a sound and when investigating, a small Impostor toy was found left on to their door hook.
Later, Edward watched the Among Us movie at 3AM. Then the Impostor suddenly showed up at their house. He tried to find the remote so he could watch more David Dobrik apology videos, and then later started watching Dixie D Amelio and Addison Rae's talk show. With Nicole asking for answers about who he was, Edward finally revealed the truth - Edward and him were in a romantic relationship but broke up due to him being very complicated to the point Edward couldn't understand him and "didn't like being sus with him no more". A crying Edward then told the Impostor how he really felt and gave him a painting as a parting gift.
He would appear in more videos, such as one where Edward and Nicole spied on him with a drone.

- Though Edward had an affair behind Nicole's back, it's also implied she too had an affair with him.
- He can be summoned with a Ouija board.
- He likes to watch "cancelled" YouTuber apologies, like those of David Dobrik and James Charles.
- In the original Among Us game, the Impostors are genderless, but here, Impostor is a male. He also may be gay/bisexual due to his affairs with Edward and Nicole.
