The Impostor is the main antagonist of the short horror animation Among Us by Avocado Animations.

He is a parasite hell-bent on killing all the crewmates and “win”

History[]

The impostors first action was ambushing Todd, the impostor then impersonates him getting his full appearence to perfection. And then consumes his whole body so that the other crewmates wouldn’t find the real body.

The impostor finds Fred, and then the impostor uses it’s pointy tongue in an attempt to kill Fred, Fred survives tho and he crawls to his son, after crawling to his son, the impostor picks Fred up and bites his body in half killing him.

Before crewmate Avo, could report Fred’s death, he killed him from behind, he went behind because if the impostor killed him while being in front of him, Avo would report and react to the body faster, but since the impostor was behind him, Avo took way longer to report the body, allowing the impostor to strike and kill him by using its toungue to stab Avo’s head.

When Jay saw Todd kill Avo, he reported it, which caused a meeting to happen in the meeting, Jay says that he saw the impostor kill Avo, the impostor just pointed at avo, signifying to the other crewmates that the impostor is actually Jay, the crewmates and the captain stupidly believe the impostor, which led to Jay getting thrown into space and dying.

When the cewmate Nick gets sad over the other crewmates not remembering his birthday, the impostor puts his hands on his shoulder, and then the impostor took his opportunity to strike and killed Nick by snapping his neck.

To get rid of witnesses to Nicks murder, the impostor kills Thomas right before he could report the murder, by shooting him repeatedly.

Enacted a sabotage which set off an alarm which took out the oxygen in the ship, which would eventually lead to all of the crewmates dying.

Before the captain could use its taser on itself, it bit half of his body killing him. When Calvin and Ted are having trouble fixing the sabotage, even stating that’s it’s getting harder to breathe, during the conversation, the impostor took advantage of them being distracted and then it shot Calvin from behind, Ted begins to slowly die from the lack of oxygen, and to end him quickly, the impostor picks him, proclaims that he won, and then kills Ted by stabbing him in the head with his tongue, completing his goal.

Personality[]

The Impostor is a brutal, cunning, and confident parasite who seems to love the thrill of outsmarting crewmates, it can be strategic as shown when it disabled the oxygen in the ship. The impostors confidence in his own abilities is shown when he proclaims that he won to his final victim, before killing him.
