The Instinct, previously called SCP-230910-A-B, and now otherwise known as SCP-001 by Dr. Kelly Wu's proposal, is an Apollyon-Archon Class entity from the SCP Foundation and the overarching antagonist of the 210-T Legends series written by AlphaWolfWalker and told through documents and addendums on the SCP Fanon Wiki.
Their first known appearance to the SCP Foundation is the disappearance of [REDACTED] in Co. Wexford, Ireland, where he'd torture him by giving him all the known knowledge in the universe.
Biography[]
Instinct was born at the start of sapiant life in the multiverse, around 50 trillion years ago. Immediately, he began his insanity towards realities. While the specifics of his birth are unknown, what is known is that he only has a mental state, no physical. He would target people in realities and poison their minds, turning them into maniacs of chaos that would destroy their home worlds to do Instinct's bidding.
Billions of years later, Instinct would start to twist the universe of 210-T by adding species from millions of years ago in the present day. After that, they create ancient ruins in the Wexford mountains. A minor of classified name clicked a pressured stone, releasing magic that allowed Instinct to take their soul from the physical world. Using a large chunk of their strength, they bring the living child to their pocket dimension outside the universe. Instinct began torturing them by giving them every bit of knowledge in the known universe. Not only did this cause immense pain, but SCP-230910-A lost not only their sense of time perseption and their humanity, willing to do Instinct's bidding. However, "Tyrian" would eventually break free of the instinctual feeling and acted so, waiting for their moment to escape.
Instinct knew 230910-A would eventually try and escape his pocket dimension, so instead of sending their soul back to the mortal world, he implanted their physical body in a cocoon of some kind. Instinct would then plant the cocoon in the same ruins mentioned earlier. A few hours later, the cocoon would be discovered by a Foundation hiker.
Instinct would watch from outside the universe as the cocoon would be brought to the Irish facility, Site B. Knowing that SCP-230910-A has a chance to escape the endless white void that Instinct put them in, he had a look through their memories. As 230910-A described, "Opening their mind like a book, literally.". Instinct, despite knowing this, tortured them further, causing immense pain from opening 230910-A's mind. Armed with their knowledge, Instinct used the book "Bygone Dawn" as inspiration to punish 230910-A if they ever hatched out of the silky cocoon to the mortal world.
And so, if the egg were to ever hatch, not only would SCP-230910-A come out in a new form, but a miasmic fog would start to cover the entirety of 230910-A's home county. Any being with at least a 50%+ genetic link to homo-sapians would start violently confulsing if they looked at the fog and breathed it in without goggles, a silk would start to pour out of every pore in their body, and form a cocoon, similar to that of SCP-230910-A.
This would eventually come to fruition in the early days of 2026, More information regarding SCP-230910 revolves around their document and the tale, "A Bygone Dawn of a Hell and Haven".
A fail-safe was created by Instinct after SCP-230910-A turned on him. SCP-3118 was genetically enhanced during their encapsulment inside one of the cocoons of SCP-230910-D-A. During approx. 6 months, Instinct would mutate 3118's original body not to another saurian, but simply giving them the ability to rapidly change their genetic code to evolve at extreme rates. Instinct eventually tried to mutate 3118's mind so much that they would be instinctually forced to follow his ideals. However, Instinct would fail, and 3118 would hatch and meet Foundation staff outside 230910-D-A's entry point.
As of now, Instinct is currently locked behind theoretical and mental bars, and SCP-230910-A is thriving with the human-turned-saurian people inside SCP-230910-D-A. However, Instinct was unknowingly (to the Foundation) gaining power by the effects being used against them. This would allow him to gain the ability to mind-control beings across the multiverse, inflict sickness and pain. etc. He would use this power to steal 4 Pure Evil's from across the multiverse to do his bidding, thus creating the unwilling Guild of Instinct. Later, Instinct would induce a nightmare in Kelly, allowing him to steal half of her soul to create Manipulation, a fractured personification of the things bad in Kelly.
Appearance[]
Instinct has only mental states, being able to rummage his way through a sapiant souls mind and manifest into a nightmare or a "physical" form. In Tyrian's description, the multiverse is the mind, the universes are the thoughts and he is a tiny neuron in between all of them.
230910-A described Instinct's mental state as tall, around 6'3, with pure white eyes, no facial features, and black fog resembling a human body.
Personality[]
Instinct is, as Tyrian describes, a souless being. He takes no remorse for the lives he takes for his view of the perfect multiverse. He is cocky, and laughs when a universe of life is suffering by his manipulation. He relishes in mentally torturing any living being.
He is so hellbound to completing his goal that during the construction of The Mechanical Universe, he not only stole half of Dr. Wu's soul to create Manipulation but stole 4 Pure Evil's from their universe, forcing them to work under his rule by manipulating their minds with help from Manipulation to instinctually work for them. This formed The Guild of Instinct, a temporary alliance made only assist in the building of The Mechanical Universe and to infiltrate and destroy the 210-T Universe from the inside.
Even though all these people are actively helping him (albeit unwillingly excluding Manipulation), he plans to kill all of them purely just for his selfish gain. He is a deranged, psychotic xenophobe to sapiant life.

Wu: "Hello? Can you hear me?"
technology gives off static
Wu: "Instinct, if you can hear this, we must talk to you, respond or face further mental and theoretical damage."
technology continues to give off static before fragments of voice start to transmit.
001: "Pa... Path... ic..... tic... pathetic"
repaired screens across Site B show white
001: "I see you've brought my star pupil, and my other failed project. Impressive, Doctor, made friends with mere puppets!"
Wu: "They are not puppets, Instinct."
001: {hysterical laughing} "You believe that now, but the only reason they aren't, and why you believe it, is because they are lucky, merely lucky... all thanks to your little antics and that fog which my pupil stole and used against me. I can't infect either them or the one you call "3118" with instinct - yet... I am gaining strength against you Doctor... {slight chuckle} watch this..."
3118 starts reeling in pain, curdling onto the floor and and coughing. Their eyes made bloodshot and their mouth starts vomiting blood.
230910-A-A: "Stop, stop it, STOP!"
001: "No need to get angsty, [REDACTED]."
3118 starts screaming, their tears becoming blood. Wu shouts to Foundation personnel to higher the effects of the theoretical and mental bars keeping him at bay. 3118 starts to calm down.
3118: "You... fuck you, you shitstain of a god."
001: "Witness, Ms. Wu... What you are using to stop me is also helping me... Soon, all of existence shall by plunged into the fiery pit that is savagery... and not one soul may escape its grasp!"
The technology being used to talk to 001 shuts down, but the screens across Site B started writing a message, it read the following.
Don't you see?! I am the god of Instinct itself! You are merely bugs, stepping stones, MERE THEORETICS to my own evolution, and that remains the same for ALL of evolution!
The feelings you get when in a life or death scenario... When someone is in trouble and you have to protect them...
