Inverted Yoshi, formerly known as Glitchy Yoshi, is a minor antagonist in the FNaF fangame Five Nights at Yoshi's.

Appearance[]

His appearance is a version of Normal Yoshi with his colors inverted. He has has a purple color, white eyes, blue bumps, and blue boots. Essentially, Inverted Yoshi He shows signs of melting everywhere, especially on the bumps and eyes.

Behavior[]

Inverted Yoshi is active starting from Night 4, but needs a prompt to appear in your office, namely, a chance of appearing when the cameras are flipped. Sometimes, when the camera is pulled down, Inverted Yoshi will begin to slowly phase into the office, which is when you should reflip the camera to make him disappear. Alternatively you can click his nose which will also make him disappear.

Inverted Yoshi kills the player when he has completely phased into the office. Upon killing you, the game closes itself, similar to what happens when you die to Golden Freddy in FNaF 1.

Update 1.3[]

Inverted Yoshi acts the same, although he now has a small animation when he is fading into the office.

Upon killing you, he will transport you to a unique game over screen, clones of him appearing in the middle of the screen. You can drag and drop these clones all around the screen.

Trivia[]

Initially, Inverted Yoshi was even more similar to Golden Freddy. He was supposed to be summoned through checking the Left Hall camera until a large poster of Inverted Yoshi appeared. Then he would appear in the office and wait a few seconds before killing you. Disposing of he was the same.
- From Version 1.1 onwards, this was changed as people were confused as to why Inverted Yoshi was an option if he was more like an easter egg in this form.
Inverted Yoshi has an ancestor in the form of Glitchy Yoshi from the Scratch era of Five Nights at Yoshi's, he acted like Golden Freddy, similar to pre-1.1 Inverted Yoshi.
