Iron Face

Iron-Face is a major villain who has crossed paths with almost every hero in his reality, he has also made fleeting alliances with many villains in his reality and is extremely opportunistic, forming and breaking said alliances to ensure personal victory.

Iron-Face takes his name from the iron mask he has taken to wearing as part of a religious dress, being a fanatical conqueror driven mad after exposure to alien technology convinced him that Earth had to be "converted" to a similarly advanced stage of technological evolution with himself as its undisputed, autocratic ruler.

While a prolific villain known for his many schemes some of Iron-Face's most destructive and memorable attacks upon global security include:

  • The Cat People (one of Iron-Face's earliest experiments involved the creation of an artificial race of humanoids via the forced mutation of forty patients at a superhuman psychiatric center, these patients would escape and form small groups across the globe, ultimately creating an entirely new species : Iron-Face saw the experiment as a failure and hunts down Cat People for extermination, which shows his complete lack of care for life, even those he may create.)
  • The Vanishing Crisis (by far Iron-Face's most iconic and destructive plan was the creation of a device that allowed him to displace objects across dimensions, using this device he began to literally steal world monuments and demanded global conquest - the madness caused by this was catastrophic but ultimately calmed when Nature-Boy reversed the device, restoring the monuments, then destroying the device so it could not be used again: Iron-Face would later build a second device of this nature and used it on a smaller-scale to displace heroes and villains across the world but was once again defeated.)
  • The Ogress Project (as part of his experimentation into "improving" the world population he created the Ogress serum, the side-effects of which would give rise to numerous super-villains of the same name, the first victim of this experiment was the hero known as Giant-Girl, who Iron-Face injected with the serum, turning her into a rampaging monster until a cure was formed : once again deeming this a failure he simply discarded the experiment and moved onto new schemes, completely uncaring of the destruction and chaos he had unleashed in the process.)

Abilities[]

  • Superhuman-Intellect (Iron-Face is a genius beyond that of any human alive, even several superhuman beings find his mind to be "extremely advanced" - due to exposure to alien technologies his intellect has grown even further, limited only by his notable slips in sanity and reason.)
  • Alien Technology (Iron-Face is in possession of unimaginably powerful alien technology which allows him to perform almost any task imaginable, yet in the process his mind becomes more and more unstable : as a result his experiments become ever more destructive and bizarre, when separated from the technology Iron-Face's sanity seems to slowly improve but eventually becomes akin to withdrawal, forcing him to return to it.)
