Oh come on kitty, your dear owner is already dead, right? You're already dead, aren't you?
~ J about to kill Amy in front of Jibanyan
I'm sure if they had met, they would be good friends.
~ J talking to Isabel about Tessa

Serial designation J, or simply J, is one of the main antagonists of Murder Drones x Yo-kai Watch, along with Cyn/Absolute Solver.

She used to be a worker drone who wanted to help her human friend Tessa stop the Absolute Solver, however they failed miserably, and she was forced to work with the Solver in order to preserve her survival, unlike the dark timeline, where although she still has affection and respect for Tessa, she joins the Solver in part to satisfy his sadism.

History[]

Just like in canon, she used to be a servant at the Elliott Mansion, a close friend of Tessa's, until the Gala Massacre, where, under the control of Cyn J, she was forced to kill everyone, including Tessa. Unlike in canon, her skin wasn't used as a costume for Cyn. Instead, they buried her in their words in a dignified manner, and therefore, Cynessa never existed.

However, since Doll didn't intervene in Uzi's room and therefore the trio were never given the chance to leave the bunker, she and Cyn stayed in Copper-9 thinking about their next moves. When they saw Uzi and the two murder drones going through a portal that V would have opened, they quickly decided to follow them and see what the world that passed through the portal was like in Springdale. Without any of them realizing it to a certain extent, in episode 2 they are seen as mysterious silhouettes talking about how they are going to take advantage of continuing their plans in Springdale, with Cyn claiming that they need new "minions", leaving J curious.

In the third episode, it is shown how the two of them cause disappearances/kidnappings in Springdale, capturing humans without leaving a trace of them, continuing like this during the following events until they no longer consider it necessary. In episode 5, at the beginning, she talks to Cyn saying that she doesn't care about the city or anyone and just wants it all to end. confusing cyn thinking that she would find the whole thing entertaining, to which j replies that it doesn't amuse her (contrary to her version of the bad ending), to which cyn claims that she's only following her out of threat or because j thinks she's cheated on her, to which j apparently replies that it doesn't matter and they follow the plan, asking what she plans to do with the humans of Springdale exactly, claiming that they don't have as much strength as the drones, to which cyn only responds that humans can serve as drones and will soon prove it to her, j claims that there are too many of them and cyn informs her that she can evolve her abilities to control humans as well as drones and Yo-kai and that the concept of quantity is irrelevant, j worries that they will be discovered and cyn only says that in that case they will stop being problems...

In the fifth episode she is mentioned by the drones telling about her beginning and apparent end...

Later on, j questions a part of cyn's plan that consists of psychological torture, to which cyn affirms that pain is a good teacher, claiming that You don't want to know how she learned that. J says some humans aren't so easily influenced, and Cyn assures her that if you're smart, you can be manipulated... Later, they're seen in the shadows as they talk about how Cyn chose his "next victim" (Jessica Stonewood).

In episode 6, during the Springdale school festival, she watches the kids enter the labyrinth, which they didn't know was being manipulated by Cyn to make them see and feel what hurt them the most emotionally. She "claims" that pain is a good teacher. It's very likely that she was the one who caused the wound on Maya's leg with the acid nanite in her tail. She would have surely finished her off by dismembering her stomach with the acid if V had not arrived to save her in time. At the end, she asks Cyn if she did everything right, and Cyn congratulates her on her work, claiming that one is better than nothing, which J appreciates.

In episode 7 they are talking about how Springdale is ready for its true plan, starting with its victims (Zoey and Lina), and Cyn tells him that it is time for him to take his solver form and so he does, at night at Springdale Elementary, J stalks Zoey and Lina who are looking for ghosts, dropping some of her oil which both believe is ectoplasm, J attacks them by scratching Lina's eye and grabbing her by the waist while Zoey tries to help her by throwing the flashlight at her, making her release her friend, to which J responds by throwing her violetly against a classroom window, leaving her injured and unconscious (In the dark version he kills her by causing one of the glasses to stick in her neck, causing her to bleed), when Lina was going to help her, J grabbed her by the neck ready to kill the human girl, being stopped by N (In the dark version, J manages to tear Lina's chest, leaving her to bleed to death), everyone else, especially V, is surprised by that j is alive, confronting her that she finally reveals herself, starting a battle between the two in which whisper and jibanyan tried to help, being easily sent flying by j, but when nathan summons kyubi and venoct begins to have a wider combat while his opponent (V) tried to remember how they beat her the last time, who at one point in the fight warns them not to believe that this will save them, When V questions her about this, she only responds that this is not just about beating her and that nothing will end just by destroying her, when not receiving almost any damage the three used a combined attack that only managed to return her to her normal murder drones form, Without a scratch, when V asks her what she's really after, she answers what was already known: to kill the two girls. After another discussion about her purpose, J leaves, claiming she needs to save energy for something bigger. But before leaving, Nathan asks her if she had anything to do with the disappearances. While J doesn't answer very clearly, it's clear that she's involved.

In episode 12, J says that he can't wait any longer, and while Amy was going to school accompanied by her newly reunited Jibanyan, J proceeds to manipulate her, stalking her to finish her off, showing himself again before Jibanyan, threatening Amy, to which Jibanyan intervenes with his Paws of Fury which he dodges in a millimeter, after a confrontation Jibanyan tries to hit J with his Paws of Fury again but J easily hits him a few times and takes him by his tails, mocking that he and Amy are useless, threatening to throw a lightning bolt at Jibanyan but Amy intervenes, leaving both seriously injured, J indifferently takes out a blade, mocking Jibanyan's desperation to protect Amy, while enclosing him in a sphere of energy, wounding Amy's arm with the blade to torture her, mockingly surprised that Amy managed to Hold on, just as she was about to finish her off (which in the alternate timeline she manages to do), she is stopped at the last second by Doll. J is surprised that Doll managed to reach her world without authorization, starting a confrontation between both robots, worried that Cin will be stopped. During the course of the battle, J asks why Doll helps a spirit and a human, and Doll's response is that she understands what it feels like to helplessly watch a loved one die, making J remember Tessa during the Gala massacre on Earth in her universe.

The battle against Doll continues, asking her how she got to where she and the other two (Jibanyan and Amy) were, meeting Khan, Thad and Nori when Doll explains that she was not alone ... After Doll explains how she got there with the help of the group, J angrily says that they will pay for it, when Khan demands that she tell where her daughter Uzi is, she replies that she does not know but she does know that they arrived late to stop her and her boss Cyn, when Nori expresses knowing Cyn, J mockingly says that instead of coming for her daughter, but that it was to avoid repeating what she caused by calling her pathetic, and when Nori asks her about her boss she replies that she, meaning Cyn, is already at the top, and it will be the beginning of a new universe / multiverse, where everyone will become the best versions of themselves, mentioning the new host of the solver of the absolute structure (Jessica / Cynessica) and when Thad He questions her if by restarting she means destroy, she only answers maybe yes or maybe not, then she mentions what she explained at the beginning, claiming that the solver chose another person (Jessica), warning about what is to come, following the fight against Doll which Khan joins... When the rest of the drones, humans and Yo-kai arrive, when J is going to give a powerful attack, she receives a kick from V, who claims that they already know what they plan, and how they want to take innocent lives for which J are only sacrifice, J proceeds to provoke Uzi claiming how her father decided to fight her asking her if she will do the same, but in the middle of the fight, J says that Cyn needs her, retreating but not before being confronted by Uzi for not being able to finish what she starts after what she did, to which J before leaving replies that she will finish them later, being called a coward by V... She is then seen in an abandoned laboratory with Cyn, preparing to kill Jessica and use her skin as a costume...

to be continued...

Personality[]

Good timeline.[]

She's the same as her canon self, but here she retains her redeeming qualities, showing very well-disguised remorse for the horrible actions she's forced to commit by the Solver, including the murder of children and innocent beings, but knowing that she has no choice but to preserve her survival in the face of cyn/solver's seemingly inevitable victory.

Bad timeline.[]

She's a sadist of almost pure evil, who beyond wanting to survive also wants to quench her thirst for blood, regardless of whether it's drones, humans, or Yo-kai. She mocks her victims before killing them and even mocks their loved ones, as shown with Amy and Jibanyan.

Relationships[]

Serial designation N[]

The same as in canon, just like with Doll, N tries to reason with J in the final battle.

While J in the good timeline apologizes and makes up for the wrongs he did, J in the bad timeline is irredeemable and cowardly and shamelessly begs for mercy when N goes to kill her, to which he coldly replies that none of them (referring to the other drones and humans) wanted to die either.

Serial designation V[]

Just like in canon, J still feels some respect for V, although she doesn't always show it in battle, and tries to convince her to join her and the Solver, which V rejects. V, for her part, now sees J as a shameless coward, although she doesn't forgive her 100%, she doesn't mind her redemption in the good timeline.

Uzi doorman[]

The same as the canonical one.

Tessa james elliot[]

Even in the bad timeline, she feels affection for Tessa and respect for her as her best human friend apart from Cyn, she even mentions near the final battle that she has gone to her "grave" a few times.

Cyn/Absolute solver[]

Like canon, he follows her to preserve her survival, although he has some affection for her, being happy when she gets rid of the solver in the good timeline, however in the evil timeline he follows her in part to satisfy his sadism for other humans and drones.

Nathan adams[]

She had already been watching him from afar, with their face-to-face encounter at Springdale Elementary School and the final confrontation where she was surprised that he survived being killed by his friends (Katie, Bear, and Eddie) controlled by Cyn.

Zoey and Lina[]

She was his executioner in her monstrous form.

Amy[]

She manipulates her into being her executioner, giving her a brutal death in the alternate timeline.

Jibanyan[]

She tried, along with Whisper, to confront the half-flying Mandos in a pathetic way. In another encounter, she was confronted by Jibanyan but was defeated again by J, who threatened to kill Amy in front of him.

Doll, Khan, Thad and Nori[]

He was also surprised that they managed to reach the Springdale universe and that they now defend humans and beings they barely know, mocking their attempts to confront them and how Nori and Khan try to reconcile with Uzi.

Although on Doll's side, she appeared vulnerable when she spoke of her pain over losing loved ones without being able to do anything about it.

Isabel[]

She is convinced that if she and Tessa had met, they would have been good friends and Tessa would have still been happy to have a human friend, right when he sees her in action, he has flashbacks of tessa.

Cynessica[]

Although he would have liked it to be Tessa like in canon to at least pretend he was still with her, he isn't too bothered by Jessica's choice and continues to follow her.

Trivia[]

  • The scene where he's going to kill Amy in front of Jibanyan is an inspiration from Coco's death in Unicorn Wars.
  • If she disguised herself as a human, her name would be Jemmy.
  • She sees that if Isabel and Tessa met they would be good friends.
  • The kick she receives from V is a reference to the kick she gives to Cyn in episode 8 of the canonical series, it can also allude to the one Rainbow Dash gives to Pinkie Pie in Smile HD.
  • It was thought that in the dark version, she would kill Maya by dismembering her and using her acid, but it was changed.
  • When he massacred the children of Springdale he is inspired when Amaya kills the remaining students in the Maneki Neko game in As the Gods Will.
  • The part where he kills Brooke in the other alternate timeline is inspired by Maria's death at the hands of Bluey in the feature film Unicorn Wars.
