~ Jack showing his true nature before tearing off Davetrap.
Jack Kennedy, also referred to as Old Sport by Dave Miller, is the main protagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's fangame series Dayshift at Freddy's. While in the Good Ending of each game Jack acts as a hero, in the evil routes, he can join Dave in murdering children to shut down Freddy's. In Dayshift at Freddy's 2 and 3, depending on if Old Sport acts as evil as possible, he becomes more monstrous than even Dave himself.
Jack is voiced in Dayshift at Freddy's 3's endings by Dylan Fisher.
Jack arrived at the Freddy's location under a fake name, and signed a contract that trapped him at Freddy's permanently. In the Saferoom, he met Dave Miller, who offered an opportunity to get out of his contract by murdering five children to shut Freddy's down. In the evil route, Old Sport agrees to help Dave. In his suit, Old Sport found and lured five children to the Saferoom for Dave to kill.
The next day, after hearing Phone Guy's spiel denying any wrongdoing, he was sent to the Saferoom, where he met with Dave. Dave asked Old Sport for his help in moving the bodies to the dumpster. He took four bodies to the dumpster, and afterward he and Dave gave themselves an early day off. On Wednesday, Jack discovered there was an investigating going on and was advised not to wear Springlock suits. Dave led him to the Saferoom, but Jack was delayed by an encounter with a cop, whom he tried to avert suspicion. Dave asked Old Sport to disable the cameras, as the police would not recognise him as as a felon.
Old Sport disabled the cameras in Pirate Cove, the Dining Area, the Show Stage and the Office monitor, noticing the Animatronics were haunted. In the Saferoom, Dave thanked him, and offered a reward. After returning to work tomorrow, Jack found the building locked, and checked a message, which revealed the Saferoom was being sealed up. Phone Guy told him the building was closed, aside from a birthday tomorrow. Dave beckoned him inside, taking him to the Fredbear room, which contained the Fredbear and RAT suit. Dave revealed his reward was to let Old Sport choose which animatronic he would activate, as the birthday party was a sting operation for Jack.

Dayshift at Freddy's 2[]
Jack took a job at the Bakersfield Freddy's location, there he reencountered Dave in the Saferoom. (depending on which evil ending from the previous game, this is either the first time the two have seen each other since prison, or they got separated due to partying too hard in Vegas). Here, Dave offers Old Sport immortality, and his "Handy Dandy Three Step Plan" to shut down Freddy's forever with another child murder case. In his Spring Freddy suit, Old Sport successfully lures them, despite Dave's goofy antics. At the end of the day, Phone Guy mentioned the missing children, and Old Sport was called by Dave, who asked him to see in in the Saferoom tomorrow, rousing Phone Guy's suspicions.
The next day, in the Security Office, Phone Guy asked Old Sport about if he had anything to do with the child murders, which he denied. Meeting Dave in the Saferoom, they headed to the Prize Corner, put a padlock on the Marionette's box, and headed to the Parts/Service room so Dave could tamper with the Withereds, while Old Sport tampered with the Toy's facial recognition systems. After buying a wrench, Old Sport tampered with the Toy animatronics. Phone Guy revealed that he knew about Old Sport's tampering, and Dave thanked him by sharing "Gravy" i.e. Doggo memes.

Radical/Fairly Evil[]
No matter which animatronic Old Sport chooses, the next morning, he is greeted by a sleep deprived Dave in his bedroom. After some awkward exchanges, he asked Old Sport to get his phone out, to prank call someone. After dialing the number, Dave proceeded to tease Phone Guy about the dead children within the robots. In the "Fairly Evil" route where Foxy was selected, Dave headed to Freddy's first, and distracted Phone Guy until Old Sport could make his grand appearance, confirming Foxy was ready. Afterwards, with Phone Guy confronted by Nightmare Foxy, Old Sport and Dave revealed they had done this to get back at him, and after Foxy bit him, Old Sport and Dave headed to Vegas.
An Ending[]
In the route where Balloon Boy was chosen, after he and Dave prank called Phone Guy, Old Sport headed to Freddy's first. Arriving at 2:15, Old Sport met with Matt, who was freaked out at his change in demeanour, and told him to pass on a message to Phone Guy. Old Sport then demanded Phone Guy showed himself, and revealed to his former boss that he planned to kill him. In the following confrontation, Old Sport refused to listen to Phone Guy's pleas for reason, even admitting that he was fighting him for the sake of it, eventually just physically tormenting him rather than doing any real damage. In the end, realizing that Old Sport was a true monster, Phone Guy admitted defeat, and to Old Sport's surprise begged for death. The moment was interrupted by Dave, and Phone Guy began warning him about how monstrous Old Sport had become, which he was somewhat offended at. Dave didn't listen, and continued with their plan by having Mike Jr have his head bitten by Nightmare Balloon Boy.
After the Bite of 87, Old Sport and Dave revelled in their victory, planning to head to Vegas, but were interrupted by The Real Fredbear. He was enraged by what Jack had become, and referenced their past. In the one on one confrontation, Old Sport responded to Fredbear's condemnations by telling him that his eternal life was a curse, and he had decided to break his promise.

Dayshift at Freddy's 3[]
In 2023 Jack revives Freddy Fazbender's and opens his own restaurant using Dave's Starter Kit. Wearing a Golden Freddy suit, Jack offered a stolen wedding cake to customers, but at the end of the day was informed by the LAPD that a child had gone missing near the Freddy's location. Jack salvaged old robots from abandoned locations, and the next month hired a Phone Guy(s) to act as a manager. At the old Hurricane location, after salvaging, Jack found that he was locked inside, and met DaveTrap. DaveTrap revealed he had been waiting for three decades, and asked for Old Sport to take him to his restaurant.
Neutral Route[]
Instead of salvaging DaveTrap, Jack chose to abandon him, to which Dave vowed revenge. Jack continued running Freddy's efficiently over the next two months. Freddy's success led to them hosting a birthday party for the son of the CEO of McGumpty's Oats and Other Such Grain-based Assortments, which provided them an opportunity to expand. However, DaveTrap interrupted, to take his revenge. However, Jack told him he was wasting his time and money. After DaveTrap ranted about how this location was set up for him, and they would continue Henry's legacy, Jack yelled at him to shut up. Jack called him a narcissistic idiot for not taking the hint that he wasn't interested to Dave any more. When Dave asked him why he revived Freddy's, Jack responded that he hated working there, specifying being screamed at by Phone Guys, wearing the Spring Freddy suit, being attacked by robots, and Matt's existence. Jack revealed that he loved being the owner, inflicting the same horrible conditions on his staff and customers. He then continued to insult Dave, mocking his obsession with Henry, considering him a loser, and telling to get out. DaveTrap ran away in tears, to the Phone Guy's surprise, who told Jack that the CEO wanted to partner with them.
end[]
Over the next fifty seven years, Jack ran Freddy's, turning into a highly successful business. However, he never had any kind of family or friends, focused only on his money. On his deathbed in a hospital, he was visited by his Phone Guy (who wore a fake beard as a gag), who told of Freddy's success, and asked Jack if he had any regrets about his life choices, to which he responded with his final words "Nah, fuck that".
Evil Route[]
Jack agrees to "bring [Davetrap] home” and salvaged him. After hearing Dave’s tapes off the rails, Jack worked on the pizzeria with Phone Guy. The next month, Jack discovered they were being visited by the Health Inspector and met with Davetrap in the Saferoom. While Dave reminisced on the past, Old Sport tried to tell him he had moved on in that time. Dave responded that he knew Jack really set the Freddy’s for him, and Old Sport was persuaded to join him, in return for Dave making good on his promises. They tampered with the security footage, and took a toddler, to which Old Sport was uncomfortable with, before embracing it. At the end of the day, Old Sport discovered that Phone Guy had to pay off the Inspector, and they had been sued, to which Dave offered to take care of.
One month later, at the Pizzeria, Old Sport discussed the missing child situation with Phone Guy, which was now being investigated. He was told the police were going to meet him at the end of the day to provide testimony on the culprit. He also discovered the lawsuit filer had been killed by Dave. In the Saferoom, Dave and Old Sport agreed to frame someone (the player chooses either the Nightguard or Phone Guy). After messing around the rest of the day, Old Sport discovered the police had been successfully fooled. In the Saferoom, Dave offered him the Fredbear suit, but when Old Sport wore it, the Springlocks went off, fusing him with the suit, fulfilling his promise of immortality.
The End and the Joy[]
The next month, JackTrap returned to his restaurant, and found it closed. Inside, Phone Guy revealed that he knew that he was responsible for the murder. The Phone Guy called him out for his actions, considering him a monster, which Old Sport fully agreed with. Both Phone Guy and the game’s narrator abandon Old Sport for good. DaveTrap took him to the Saferoom, discussing how smoothly it went, and admitted his real name as William Afton. Old Sport in turn revealed his name is Jack Kennedy, and the twosome partied in Vegas. However, some time later, William admitted he still wasn't happy, and they decided to go somewhere he would be satisfied.
Jack was blindfolded on the journey to keep the suspense, and found himself back at Fredbear's Family Diner, which he observed had become a dump. Will revealed he had constructed an underground facility he called "the Fazbunker", and Jack was taken to his Office. Jack saw his old home on the cameras, and figured Dave used the Bunker's vents to enter his house. William gave him the Box, which he had debated showing Old Sport for a long time, and as they finally knew each other, now was the time. After they opened it, Jack saw it contained souveniers from the Freddy's child victims, including Dee's red scarf.
Jack began having an internal crisis, as he was led into the last room. After William admitted that he felt guilty for turning him into a monster, and that he had ruined everything, Jack responded by paraphrasing Henry's spiel about "the Joy of Creation". As Henry urged Jack in his head to emotionally break William, Jack revealed his past as the nightguard Will and Henry framed for the death of his sister, and how they had destroyed his life. With Henry urging him, on Jack took revenge on William, and brutally killed him. Afterwards, Henry's spirit met Jack, and told him that while William was a fool he strang along, Jack had true potential, which he demonstrated after he got out of the suit he died in. Considering him to have blossomed, without his soul or conscience, Henry saw him as a true partner, and Jack welcomed Henry's obsession of him.

Trivia[]
Jack goes by whatever the player name themselves in each game, with the in-universe explanation being that this is his alias.
The eventual explanation as to why Jack is so easily persuaded to become a child murderer is due to his soulless nature.
In the Radical/Pure Evil route of DSaF 2, if Old Sport fails to type Phone Guy's number in three times, Dave gets angered, and Old Sport gets killed by getting an Eggplant shoved up his uretha.
In DSaF 2, consistently choosing text in purple, as the more "evil" option, leads to "An Ending", with several characters along the way noting how sinister he sounds.
As well as having purple text, DSaF 3 also features pink text, which is treated as purely evil, and foreshadows Jack being influenced by Henry.
In end, Jack has a full conversation with Harry or Jake if they turn up his deathbed, but actively chooses to die earlier if he sees Roger.
