Jackson Cumberland and James Welshfield are the main antagonists of the 2023 Vyond film The Vyond Cinema Movie.
They are a duo of bootleggers who want to destroy Tom Doe's business by recording and uploading movies online and make everyone believe that he paid fake customers. Initially, Frank Campbell was teaming up with them, but soon betrayed them and reported their actions to the police, leading to Tom Doe being declared as innocent and for them to be later arrested for their crimes.

Jackson Cumberland is a man with light brown hair and goatee, light blue eyes, a blue shirt with a white jacket, grey pants and black and white shoes.
James Welshfield is a man with brown hair that is covered with a black hoodie, even in his prison attire, grey pantsand black shoes.
Personality[]
Jackson Cumberland and James Welshfield are sneaky tricksters who like to illegally record movies in cinemas using hidden cameras and upload them online in order to ruin their businesses and make the police believe said cinemas paid fake customers.
While at first, they do care about Frank Campbell as he helps them in their plan, they soon lose trust in him after he betrayed them and reported everything to the police as he was forced to go along with their plan.
Biography[]
Jackson Cumberland and James Welshfield, alongside Frank Campbell, are first seen in the Vyond Cinema where they plan to record movies in each theater using cameras hidden in their bags of popcorn in order to upload them online. Frank is suspicious about the plan as he feels they might get caught and kicked out for doing so, but Jackson tells him that since there are hundreds of customers in the cinema's theaters, they won't be caught easily, making Frank agree to follow in their scheme, even if he knows that the videos uploaded will get copyright striked.
After getting their popcorns, they hide the cameras in them and each of them go to one theater at once, though Frank doesn't seem to like how their plan are going and feels like he is forced against his will. After recording the movies, James tells Jackson and Frank that he lost one of his cameras, but shrugs it off as the movie he watched was boring. They then go home to upload and share the movies online with a Google Drive link.
After the movies were uploaded online, Vyond Cinema would achieve a milestone, achieving more than 1000 customers, but this would also attract the attention of the police the next day as the cinema itself would be empty with no customer present, leading them to believe that Tom Doe, the cinema's owner, had paid fake customers to boost his cinema and achieve the milestone, resulting in his arrest.
Their victory wouldn't go on for long, however, as Frank, tired of being forced around by Jackson and James, decides to report them to the police, betraying them in the process as Tom Doe is released, being declared innocent. Upon returning home, Frank would announce Jackson and James that they got reported to the police. Irritated at this betrayal, James attempts to beat Frank up, but James stops him as he doesn't want to waste time dealing with Frank and rather plan to get out of the city to not get caught.
Upon getting in their car, they attempt to drive out of the city, but they notice that Tom Doe had been released and decide to confront him and his guests at his house. Holding Tom Doe at gunpoint, they plan to get rid of him once and for all as the latter starts to beg for his life, but before they could shoot him, they hear police sirens nearby, causing them to run back in their car and drive off, with the police now in pursuit. Jackson drives the car faster in an attempt to outrun them, but the police shoot the car's tires, resulting in the car slowing down and stopping. Jackson and James had one last resort in plan in which they use their weapons to defend themselves, but are tazed before they could do anything, finally leading to their arrests.
At their trial, Frank would reveal to the judge that Jackson and James forced him to commit those crimes and that he didn't want to do them in the first place, which leads to both Jackson and James to be sentenced to 34 years in prison. Their arrests would bring peace to Vyond Cinema once more as the controversy has now been debunked, celebrating it's recovery.
