Is this how Riya felt when she turning to that side? I should feel scared but some part of this feels great and that sounds dangerous. I guess I'm the bad guy now but here, you sometimes have to be that kind of person to win and prove yourself. Looks like I should show them what I've got but the question is how bad can I be? Let's find out.
~ Jake's famous quote, reluctantly embracing his newfound villainy in order to win and yet still worried about this change of his.
Jake: Sorry and no hard feelings but things are different now.
Aiden: Jake, please don't do this.
Jake: Sadly, it's too late now and times have indeed changed.
Ellie: But this isn't you, what happened to the naive yet lovable guy you were?
Jake: That guy is now gone, it's time to now show the new me, who will prove himself worthy now.
~ Jake's other famous quote, showing his new nature to Aiden and Ellie as a warning of his old self being gone and only his new self remains for now.
Jake: D--m it, I lost and even worse, it was all for nothing but I guess I deserve this for what I've done.
Aiden: It's okay, not everybody wins at the game but it's not too late to win anyone's hearts, you just don't have to be the bad guy to do so.
(Jake was shocked by this but then tearfully hugged both him and Ellie, who both returned it.)
Jake: You're right, it doesn't matter, what matters is that I now want to win your hearts and hope to do so by starting with a sorry for everything, would you really forgive me?
Ellie: Hey, you didn't hurt anyone, you just played the game but deep down, that's still what makes you human person.
(Jake tearfully smiled at this and felt his original heart returning.)
Jake: Maybe it's true, being the bad guy doesn't win you anything but being a good guy instead would be way better.
~ Jake, accepting his loss and even redeeming himself via apologizing for his actions and hugging his rivals for how they forgave him.

Jacob Hamilton, or simply known as Jake, is the main antagonist of drama comedy fanfic Disventure Camp: All-Cast, which is based on Odd Nation Cartoons' Disventure Camp and also serving as a fanmade remake of the 3rd season All Stars.

At first, he served as one of the main protagonists and originally just wanted to grow as a person that is no longer naive enough to get manipulated anymore but due to so much trauma from his miserable life and losing people he cares about, he ends up going down a temporarily dark path and yet only doing so out of strategy and to prove himself as a worthy competitor.

Because of this, he temporarily becomes the arch-rival of Aiden and Ellie but still remains the new boyfriend of Hunter, the ex-boyfriend, the unofficial leader of the Violet Team, and yet also the archnemesis of Ally while even getting 3rd place on the show as one of the 3 finalists.

Early Life[]

His backstory is slightly similar to his canon self but this time, he also dated James at one point and yet they broke up on good terms while his parents' homophobic behavior is now full-on abusive, his ex-boyfriend Troy had also raped him, his reason for believing Ellie is due to his former friends trying to warn him about Troy to no avail until they cut off ties with him for not listening to them, and only his older brother Shawn and late grandparents treated him kindly.

As for his time on season 1, it's still similar to canon until the events of the finale, where Miriam's heart attack was now real and yet Jake was the only one who chose to take her to the hospital.

At the hospital, he was sad to hear that she was dying and there was nothing that can be done to help her but before she died, she still assured him that he's a good boy and had him promise to improve himself for a good life as he tearfully agreed to that promise before then mourning her after she tragically passed away from her heart attack.

After her death, he sat outside the hospital in tears over her death and wanted to be alone but then saw Hunter from the 2nd season and after they exchanged their reasons for being sad, he was still angry at Ally for breaking Hunter's heart like that but Hunter himself still thought Jake's reason for sadness was way understandable.

Wanting to cheer him up and encourage him, he sings Loser Baby with him and this plan worked but then they suddenly kiss and yet they enjoy it, already developing feelings for each other.

However, they still needed to take it slow and agreed to wait a while but despite this, they still fell in love with each other and even slowly started a relationship that they still didn't reveal yet.

At some point, he did plan to make amends with Ellie through a group chat with their former castmates but upon Ellie accidentally insulting him on impulse, he too unintentionally snapped back at her with some words that he ended up regretting and this led to him not being in contact with her and the others for the next 2 years.

Despite this, he didn't take offense to her brutal interviews, having viewed the 1st season and now blaming himself for easily believing her lie in the 1st place but still didn't care about one towards Tom due to moving on from him and now deciding to not call him because of realizing that the guy broke his own promise to Miriam about making amends.

Other than that, he never mentioned anything else but still moved away from his parents' home due to them cruelly disowning him for his sexuality and yet assures us that he's living with Hunter, whose family accepted the relationship.

Eventually, he still accepted an invitation to the 3rd season "All-Cast" but instead of wanting to repair his former relationship, he wants to now prove himself as a changed man that is no longer naive anymore and won't be manipulated.

Unknown to him, this season will also show his dark side and yet put him to the test of also challenging that side of his, which this kind of side will still be due to how he's been treated lately.

Disventure Camp All-Cast[]

In the prologue, he is first shown getting on the plane and yet being worried about how many people felt about him but Ashley and Dan fortunately care for him and even share a seat with him, which shocks him and yet he's happy about it.

Other than that, he also has no problem with his former enemies being on his team but does show annoyance at having Yul on the team due to watching the 2nd season and having disliked him for being a racist bully.

However, he's accepting of Riya and bonds with her over wanting to be better people but also still hold a mutual dislike for Yul, even feeling bad for how Nick has to sit next to the guy.

Despite this, he was interested in hearing the new amount of the grand prize but not out of greediness, only out of impression that she increased the money and yet he's still glad that they won't do skydiving.

In chapter 1, him and his fellow passengers were placed on the Violet Team but he did get amused at everyone finding out his relationship with Hunter and also helped explain the tale through a flashback, which they got back to the show.

After that, he got to his team and was getting along with a few members but obviously hated Yul as well for the bad behavior and already wants to vote him off, even still being mad about Yul making a homophobic remark on the plane earlier.

More coming soon.

Non-Canon Ending[]

In this ending, Jake did win the season and was happy about it but ended up feeling empty after seeing others not liking what he's done and he finally realized what he's done, causing him to reject the prize money and just leave the show in tears without a word as a worried Aiden and Ellie called out to him.

4 weeks later, Jake was looking at the pictures of everyone's futures and smiling tearfully at their happy endings but nearly cried at seeing Hunter showing respect for Miriam and even giving him an assuring message that he still loves him no matter what, causing Jake to having more tears and now questioning if everything was worth it.

Fortunately, Shawn visits him and comforts him over this while assuring him that he also too still cares about him and even asks him to attend the reunion to make amends with them, causing him to tearfully hug his brother back.

When he does go to that reunion, he is surprised to see others happily welcoming him and despite him questioning if they hate him or not, they actually still care about him no matter what.

Upon hearing this, he tearfully thanks them and apologizes for what he's done but they just hug him and let him feel like family, which he accepts it and yet still wishes to never have done his villainous actions.

Personality[]

His personality is somewhat similar but he's no longer naive nor judgmental, instead now deciding to not let anyone trick him again and even moved on from Tom while having become mature now and even ends up being good at the game, which is leaving both staff, cast, and even fans proud of him for his progress.

However, he sadly starts to embrace his new path to villainy after realizing that he seems better as a villain instead and even becomes an enemy to the ones that he was befriending but despite this, he's not fully evil as he doesn't enjoy his crimes, still cares about Aiden and Ellie, deeply misses Hunter and Miriam, and also has restraint on his villainy.

In the end, he fortunately goes back to being good after seeing his former friends not giving on him and even assuring him that he'll still be loved no matter what, causing him to now quit the game and let them have a shot.

Appearance[]

Unlike All Stars, Jake still retains his season 1 appearance but has been nearly developing long hair that he just only trims to avoid getting itchy or getting his eyes blocked.

Quotes[]

What have I done? Why did I do this? Am I the bad guy now? Is it okay to become this? Maybe it is the only way to grow out of being so naive and gullible. If it is, then I guess I am the bad guy now but instead of doing this for malice, I'm only doing this to prove myself as changing for the better. No more Mr. Boy Toy, it is now Mr. Mastermind.
~ Jake, realizing that he's becoming the new villain after causing Ashley's elimination but sadly embracing it to improve himself.
Jake: I'm so sorry, Tess but I'm done being nice and soft anymore.
Tess: Jake, you did this?
Jake: Hey, I didn't want this either but I'm tired of being taken advantage of and losing everyone I love, just no hard feelings.
Tess: Okay, I understand but remember, be careful when doing this.
(She then still hugged him and left on the bus as he watches in remorse.)
Jake: Don't worry, I'll be careful.
~ Jake, confessing to Tess about eliminating her but showing no malice over it and apologizing.
Jake: Grett, I'm sorry for this, I hope there's no hard feelings for this.
Grett: It's alright, I'm not so innocent either but just don't go down my path or you'll end up regretting it.
(She then left on the bus, leaving him sighing at this.)
Jake: Don't worry, I'll try my best.
~ Jake, reconciling with Grett and confessing to her elimination out of remorse but being assured there's no hard feelings at all.
Jake: Yes, finally, victory is mine.
Ally: I f-----g knew it was you, a-----e.
Jake: Yeah, this is what you deserve for eliminating Hunter and messing with me.
Ally: F--k you, I hope you burn in Hell.
(The bus then arrives and Jake pushes her in before watching as she leaves.)
Jake: You first, b---h.
~ Jake, smugly admitting to Ally's elimination and being happy to have gotten rid of her.

Interactions[]

  • Family: Sadly, his relationship with his family is usually estranged due to his parents' homophobia.
    • Unnamed parents: Abusers and enemies (Both disowned). Just like the canon show, his parents are abusive homophobes that hate him for his sexuality to the point that they even disowned him for it and are glad that he left home. In return, he angrily hates them too for their behavior and disowned them back, even standing up to them via tearing their abusive letter and calling them out for how they've constantly treated him since even his childhood. Heck, this homophobic abuse is so bad that even staff, cast, and audience also angrily hate that couple as well for this behavior and even Lake compares them to her own abusive parents to the point of bonding with Jake over that while even the former villains were genuinely appalled from how much Jake suffered during his personal life and can see why he has trust issues.
    • Shawn Hamilton: Older brother. Just like the canon show, they had a neutral relationship due to it being implied that Shawn didn't stand up for Jake during their childhood or when their parents were being homophobic but despite this, they still love each other as a family and Shawn even expresses remorse for not always being there for him while also not hating Jake for his villainy and just still being proud that his younger brother is now mature enough to no longer act naive while Jake himself forgives him and even apologizes to him too for what he's doing. Just like Jake, Shawn also angrily disowned their parents for their constant homophobic abuse towards Jake, which the abusive couple selfishly blame Jake for this.
    • Unnamed grandparents (Both deceased). Just like the canon show, they are still dead by the events of this story and nothing much is known about them but it's been implied that they got along with Jake and most likely approved of his sexuality, even possibly defending him from his parents. To this day, he is still depressed by their demise.
  • Allies: No matter what he's done, he still has time to make this due to his newfound maturity.
    • Violet Team: Well, not all of them but he still somewhat has a good relationship with them, only hating Yul and for good reason.
      • Ashley: Best friend and surrogate sister. Just like the canon All Stars, these 2 already get along from the very start of their interaction due to Ashley showing no rudeness towards Jake nor any hostility that many haters would show but unlike the canon show, she never gets mad at Jake since he's now not at fault for any conflicts and has no ill-will towards him for just playing the game, even now standing up for him against Ally's petty grudge. Of course, he still ends up eliminating her out of strategy but does show remorse and even tearfully apologizes only for her to not be mad at him and is understanding of why he did it. Just like everyone, she's still proud of Jake's maturity and even forgives him after he becomes a hero again, having still seen good in him.
      • Dan: 2nd best friend and surrogate brother. Just as always, they both still retain a good friendship due to Dan being one of the only people that tolerates Jake and even still keeps their friendship going, which Jake still admits to missing the guy.
      • James: Ex-boyfriend, former teammate, and good friend. Surprisingly, they used to have a relationship before the whole show but unlike the other cases, they're still on good terms and even agree to remain friends. Unlike the canon show, Jake doesn't eliminate James out of jealousy towards Aiden but instead it's because of James misunderstanding a warning from him and even accidentally insulting him only for Jake to assure him that he voted for Yul instead. Despite James forgiving him, Jake still blames himself for this due to not waiting until after elimination and it slowly starts his path of questionable morales, even if the guilt still remains. Fortunately, this doesn't affect the friendship with Aiden, who understood what really happened. Not to mention, James only ends up disliking him later on for turning bad and even shows disappointment in the evil actions but just like everyone, he ends up forgiving him after seeing him become a good guy again and apologizing for what he's done. After the show, they're still on good terms and he even invites James to the wedding between him and Hunter in the future.
      • Riya: Close friend, former teammate, and former alliance partner. Unlike the canon show, these 2 now get along due to sharing an interest in redemption for past mistakes they've done and also hilariously bonding over their mutual dislike for Yul. However, she still scolded him for James' elimination but doesn't blame him for it and also defends him from Yul's cruel jokes.
      • More coming soon.
    • Basil Team: Despite not personally knowing them, he still has some friends on that other team.
      • Aiden: Number 1 fan, close friend, and archrival. Despite not interacting yet, they still started off as positive due to Aiden idolizing Jake and the feeling being mutual, even seeing each other as counterparts. However, it's almost estranged due to James' elimination and yet Aiden holds no grudge against Jake since the latter felt remorse and wanted to talk this out with Aiden, both agreeing that Jake never wanted to eliminate James but instead it happened because of Jake noticing Tom's newfound obsession with Aiden and wanting to warn James about it, which Aiden understood and also admitted that Tom was being creepy now.
      • Ellie: Close friend, archrival, and former enemy. Unlike the canon show, Jake has forgiven Ellie for what she did in their 1st season and even took blame himself for still easily believing her obvious lie while Ellie in return feels remorse for what she did to him in their 1st season and part of her reason to return was to make amends with him. Just like Aiden, Ellie doesn't blame Jake for James' elimination and even heard his side of the story of what happened, despite scolding Jake for not waiting until after elimination. Other than that, they limited interaction due to being on different teams again but still admit to slowly making amends and yet don't know if it's time to call each other friends.
      • Hunter: Boyfriend. Unlike the canon show, they now form a romantic relationship after bonding over some troubles they have and despite taking it slow at first, their relationship is a very healthy one due to them trusting each other and even cheering each other up. While they sadly have limited interactions due to being on separate teams, they are still shown to express love for each other and Jake even maturely agrees to not sabotage his team for his boyfriend, which makes Hunter proud. In episode 4, Jake tells Hunter about James' elimination and apologizes for how it went but Hunter assures him that it was just an honest mistake and cheers him up with the reprise of "More Than Anything," which succeeds and they share a kiss. However, this ends up causing Ally to target Hunter and get him eliminated, which also motivates Jake to avenge him via taking Ally down but this also sets Jake on his temporary dark path. Despite this, Hunter still loves him and knows that he's just tired of losing people he loves, which everyone agreed with that reasoning and are sympathetic towards Jake for it. Fortunately, his ongoing love for Jake helps bring his boyfriend back to his sense and he also helps him make amends for everything.
      • More coming soon.
  • Enemies: Sadly, he still has this.
    • Yul: Archenemy, bully, and former teammate. Even before the new season, Jake had seen season 2 and rightfully hated Yul already for being a bigoted bully, even always laughing at the guy's karma and respecting the ones who are giving it to him. When they get on the same plane, he was not happy to have Yul on the same team with him and even felt bad for Nick having to share a seat with the guy, especially with also getting mad at him for an indirect homophobic remark earlier. On the show, he's the most one on the team getting fed up with Yul and even wishes to make him the first boot but his hatred for the guy increases due to seeing him abuse Grett and even making cruel remarks about eliminations, causing Jake to now want to break Yul's face. Eventually, he ends up snapping when Yul cruelly slaps Grett and yells at her, leading to Jake beating him up in retaliation and even managing to vote him off for this. Just like the team, he was happy about Yul's elimination and also admits that the season 2 cast has his sympathy for having to put up with such an annoying bully, much to Riya's gratitude towards him. Heck, he was one of those smugly happy when Yul got arrested after the show and was banned for life because of his abusive behavior. In return, Yul hates him too for being gay and bullies him over it but this hate increases when Jake stands up to him.
    • Ally: Archrival, enemy, and sabotage victim. Due to Jake's relationship with Hunter, Ally blames Jake for stealing Hunter away from her and decides to be a brat about it via eliminating those who support the relationship or even eliminates Hunter after seeing the relationship being unbreakable, which is making her a villain as well. In return, he barely talked about her due to them being on separate teams but Lake's elimination made him start to hate her back and yet the one-sided rivalry ends up becoming mutual after she caused Hunter's elimination, especially since she even admits to him that she did it to make the couple pay. Because of this, he desires to make her lose but still focuses on the game and even refuses to let her get to him, which ends up annoying her. Even when she ends up cruelly asking about a suicide attempt, he just bravely answers her question and yet still gets mad at her for that to the point of having her eliminated, which Aiden and Ellie actually agree to help him eliminate her because they're also appalled by that cruel question and how petty she was. Because of this, people side with him more than her due to her having a petty motive to hate him while he has every right to hate her instead for how she acted and heck, she even causes Hunter and Tess to cut off ties with her.
    • Tom: Ex-Boyfriend, former teammate, and current enemy. Unlike the canon show, him and Tom never make amends but instead of trying to do so, he ends up no longer loving him anymore and is done being sorry for how the guy lost his job, which Tom himself still holds a grudge against him and doesn't believe the guy moved on. After Tom nearly traumatized Aiden via trying to kiss him or even ends up harassing him, Jake is now disgusted by Tom and was glad that the guy got voted off for what he did, even deciding to cut off ties with him and no longer wants to hear more about him. Even more, he confirms that he also is mad at Tom for cowardly breaking Miriam's promise to make amends and even choosing to not visit her just to avoid seeing Jake, which everyone else also calls Tom out for this and the said guy also found this to be a horrible thing he had done. Unlike some of the others, Tom didn't see any good in Jake but then got surprised to be proven wrong and yet gets upset that Jake barely acknowledges him, showing that Tom finally see that he messed up and yet he's unable to fix his mistake.
    • More coming soon.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being the main antagonist, he still acts like more of a villain protagonist instead since the narration usually focuses on him too and showing his character progress, even some personal issues that he is sorting out.
    • Not to mention, he's also easy to root for because unlike the canon Riya, he still has honorable moments, has some morals and standards, and even has an understandable motive for becoming the villain.
  • Unlike the canon villains of the show, Jake isn't fully evil but just a misguided and traumatized strategist that is only doing this out of desire to prove himself and needs someone to help him out with his personal issues right now.
    • Heck, he would even show remorse if he went too far or even be responsible for good person's elimination, even apologizing for this and hoping there's no hard feelings for this while also not getting angry when they snap at him.
