| ~ Jake threatening Greg in FNaTI 2: OR |
Jake Smith is the main "villainous protagonist" of Malrat_'s fan-made "Five Nights at Treasure Island" & "Nightmare Before Disney" remakes/revivals, who originally started out just the same as the OG Jake Smith from official FNaTI by AnArt1996, but later got more fleshed out as his own character.
He is also serving as the main antagonist in Malrat_'s "Five Nights at Treasure Island 2: Original Revamp", & also was meant to appear in Radiance's official FNaTI spin-off—"Chaos at Treasure Island", before the game's cancelation.
Just like his original official FNaTI counterpart, Jake is a newly employed Supernatural Studies Association intern, who got sent on Disney's abandoned "Discovery/Treasure Island" in order to investigate the place & collect data about its paranormal activity. Back when the Island wasn't abandoned though, Jake has already used to work here as the dayshift guard, before getting responsible for the mass massacre that involed him murdering all of his co-workers over a simple prank one of them pulled on him.
In FNaTI 2: OR, he is also voiced by Malrat_ himself.
Appearance[]
Human[]
Unfortunately, as the game is shown entirely from Jake's POV, we never really had a good look on his appearance. The only time we saw his 3D model was in one of the cut-scenes. In that cut-scene, he looks like a grown-up man, with tan skin, brown hair & white shirt.
Also, if we assume that OG Jake's old official anime-stylized artwork by AnArt is still canon to Malrat_'s Jake as well, we also can assume that he has blue eyes, & after SSA employement, his uniform was a blue shirt underneath the white coat.
Undead[]
After getting killed, Jake got heavily mutilated & dismembered, before getting stuffed inside of the old, dusty & withered spare Mickey Mouse costume.
The costume itself looks pretty much similar to the normal regular Mickey—a black cartoony anthropomorphic mouse with big round head, big circle-shaped ears, light skin on the face, elongated snout, black pointy nose, and lanky arms & legs, with his hands having 4 fingers per-hand. He also wears red shorts, white gloves & yellow shoes.
The main difference though is the suit's very terrible condition, as it has a very dirty & dusty texture, worn-off & less saturated colors(such as his skin & gloves being dark grey, the "fur" being somewhere between black & dark brown, shorts being faded vinous, and the shoes being faded yellow), missing cutted-off middle finger on the right hand, & a lot of holes & scratches, reavealing Jake's red & bloody flesh. The suit's head also has a cutted-out eyes & mouth, revealing the Jake's corpse's bloodshot eyes & rotten teeth. The corpse's head itself is basically shaped like a fleshy-covered skull with no skin.
His appearance was obviously based off Springtrap from the original FNaF 3.
Personality[]
Just like with the original AnArt's Jake, Jake's personality is quite ambigious, as he's almost always is just a silent protagonist with no character behind.
But if we look into what the cut-scenes present us, we can see that Jake is clearly an ill, mentally unstable sociopath, who just literally killed a bunch of innocent people over a simple unfunny joke. We can also assume that Jake is suffering from some sort of masklophobia—a constant & extreme irrational fear over of any sort of costumed characters, & more specifically in this case, Disney mascot suits as well. That could explain how he got so easily scared by Henry's/Past Mickey's jumpscare(to the point he almost died from a heart attack), & also why he got SO mad on him for this "prank". It's uncertain though WHY he has this phobia, but probably it has to do something with some sort of unknown traumatic experience from more distant past(his childhood, for example).
Also, according to Jake's own words in one of the cut-scenes, some of his co-workers, including Henry, were....pretty much of a jerks, as they knew about Jake's psychological problems & possible trauma, but instead of supporting their "friend", they were just straight up mocking & bullying him for that. This could be another reason why Jake became so furious after the jumpscare prank—he was just tired of humiliation. Although, thats weird that by this logic, he didn't just quit the job or complained to his boss about that. In fact, why he even picked up a job at Disney location in the first place?
In FNaTI 2: OR, undead Jake doesn't really show much of a personality. Now, just like the other Suits, he is a sadistic, completely depraved bloodthirsty monster, who just kills whoever he sees on his way. On Greg's shift, Jake literally threatens him, saying that he "shouldn't have ever came here", as well as that he "never will leave this place alive" & "no one will ever find his corpse/hear his screams".
Biography[]
Due to how messy & poorly-written Malrat_'s lore was, there's no confirmed timeline of the events. Out of simplicity, Jake's appearances will just be listed & described in order the games came out.

Trivia[]
- He's practically what Jack Terrence from the official Treasure Island: Abandoned Enigma is based off. Not to mention how Jack's undead design from TBHaL is a remake of Jake's undead design in FNaTI 2: OR.
- Even despite being fan-made, he's technically canon, as according to Henry's speech in Oblitus Casa, ALL FNaTI fan-games are canon.
- Back in the day, due to Malrat_'s games getting very popular, as well as OG FNaTI being canceled, lots of people commonly confused Malrat_'s fan-made remakes of FNaTI & NBD with AnArt1996's official FNaTI, & StellaWisp's original NBD. Because of that, some people used to believe that Malrat_'s interpretation of the story is canon, & that Jake ACTUALLY canonically was a murderer, & did killed his co-workers, leading them to reincarnate as the Suits.
- The same also was the case for Desko's "Five Nights at Treasure Island: FOUND/ABANDONED: Discovery Island", which was also commonly confused with the actual FNaTI.
- As Desko's already mentioned FNaTI: FOUND/A: DI was heavily inspired by Malrat_'s FNaTI fan-games(+Malrat_ himself has helped Desko with the game), it's not surprising that Desko's Jake Smith was heavily based on Malrat_'s Jake, being practically a reworked/re-imagined version of him.
- Some people even used to confuse them both, thinking they are the same character, and that Desko's lore is canon to Malrat_'s lore. For example, most of people mistakenly assumed that Desko's reason for Jake's trauma, that being a loss of parents in early childhood, is also applies for Malrat_'s Jake. This, unfortunately, is just a pure speculation, as there was no mention of Jake's childhood &/or parents in Malrat_'s games.
- Jake being a villain in Malrat_'s AU is probably based on a very popular theory/headcanon about the original FNaTI, as the Suits/Toons(Oswald & Acephalous, for example) have a lot of phrases that indicate some sort of anger against him, heavily implying that Jake had some sort of dark past related to Treasure Island & these creatures.
