Jason Voorhees is one of the main antagonists of the DashieXP YouTube channel, and the titular main antagonist of the Dashie vs. Jason series. He is also an overarching antagonist of Dashie's gaming channel, DashieGames.

He is (obviously) a parody of the famous character of the same name from the Friday the 13th franchise.

For unknown reasons, he would become on & off rivals with Dashie.

He was portrayed by ShredMaster2010.

Biography

Origins

Jason was a deformed child bullied and alienated by others, forming a deep bond with his mother, Pamela, after his father abandoned them. While at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason drowned due to negligent counselors and cruel children. Pamela, devastated and driven mad, murdered counselors in his name until she was killed by Alice. Witnessing this, Jason rose to avenge her death, beginning his reign of terror.

Jason terrorized Camp Crystal Lake for years, murdering anyone who entered (except children). At first, he wore a burlap sack before adopting his iconic hockey mask. He hunted survivors like Alice, Ginny, Chris, and especially Tommy Jarvis, who eventually killed him by tricking Jason into reliving his childhood trauma. Jason was resurrected multiple times, often through supernatural means, continuing his killing sprees against counselors and intruders.

Dashie vs. Jason

Dashie and Jason eventually became rivals, forming a twisted but comical friendship where they each try to kill the other. Jason would often show up at Dashie’s house to fight, making Dashie his second-greatest enemy after Freddy Krueger. Unlike Jason’s pure hatred for Freddy, his relationship with Dashie has a hidden layer of friendship, making them “vitriolic best friends.” A running gag is that Jason loves Jif, while Dashie despises it. Despite their rivalry, Dashie secretly admires Jason but hides it to keep up appearances.

Jason later appeared on Dashie’s gaming channel, especially during Friday the 13th games, where sometimes they fought and other times teamed up. More recently, Jason became a recurring villain in Super Mario Maker, leaving “Jason was here” marks on levels before Dashie could play them. He consistently beats levels with ease, while Dashie struggles for hours. Because of this, Dashie often uses Jason’s completion time as a guide to decide whether he should attempt a level.
