Monokuma: Moving on... I think you guys will have a lot of fun here... Mainly because...
Hunter: We're gonna learn the values of friendship and love, all while experiencing the magic that nature has to offer, right? And within the company of a cute little bear leader!
Monokuma: I mean, I guess so! Just add in a little bit of murder, then we'd be good.
~ Monokuma during his introduction.

Jesse Miles' sister is the secondary antagonist of the Danganronpa fangame Danganronpa V4 Rocky Restarts. She's the Ultimate Voice Actress.

While she never appears directly, she is the one who plays the robotic Danganronpa mascot Monokuma and uses him to manage the 54th Danganronpa season, where she motivates the participants to kill each other[1][2].

Biography[]

Background[]

Jesse’s sister is a 26 year old voice actress who started her professional work when she was 8. She moved out at 18 and became the Ultimate Voice Actress. She often used those accomplishments to brag about how she’s better than her brother, who took longer to achieve similar things.

At some point, she was hired by Victor Moore to play the role of Monokuma in the unofficial 54th season of Danganronpa, and she accepted it. Her brother, Jesse Miles also agreed to participate in it, and was given the role of being a fake participant who secretly works for Monokuma and the Mastermind.

Many other people also volunteered to participate, but unlike Jesse and his sister, they were unaware it was going to be a real death game. After everything was ready, Victor erased his own memories to act like a normal, clueless participant.

Prologue[]

Victor and 15 other students were taken to a camp, believing that they were ultimate students. With the exception of Jesse, none of them knew what happened in the past 2 years, but they still remembered most of their background. However, Victor didn't remember what his talent was, despite knowing he was assigned one.

At the diner, Monokuma appeared and explained the rules of the camp after everyone had arrived: The students are going to live in the camp forever with no chance of escape, and the only way to leave is by committing a murder and getting away with it. If someone kills and gets away with it, they get to escape and everybody else is executed. However, if their crime gets discovered in a class trial, only the murderer will be executed, and life in the camp continues. Monokuma also revealed that he implanted chips in everyone and could electrocute them at any moment, even giving them a small shock as a warning.

Victor gathered everyone to make sure that nobody had any intentions of killing anyone. Victor commented that he felt like he had seen Monokuma somewhere. At that moment, Norah pointed out the Monokuma themed pins on Victor's outfit, which she thought was suspicious. Victor was just as shocked as everybody else, as he didn't remember putting them on.

Chapter 1[]

To further ensure that a murder would happen, Monokuma decided to reveal the first motive: He claimed that this time if someone were to commit a murder and get away with it, they could choose a person to escape with them.

During Chinatsu’s introduction, Monokuma claimed that she is not a real ultimate nor a participant and is only in the Killing Game to act as a cashier/nurse for the participants.

Monokuma also interviewed several participants against their will. He would often ask them provoking questions, such as “who would you kill” or “who do you think is the mastermind”, and would not give up until they gave an answer.

Glenn was later found dead, and Monokuma told everyone that they must investigate in order to find the culprit in the class trial. After the investigation was over, he used minecarts to bring them to a cave in the camp, where they were supposed to discuss the murder.  During the trial, Autumn was found out as the murderer of Glenn and was executed for failing to get away with it.

Chapter 2[]

The next morning, Monokuma woke up everyone and forced them to go to the interview room. There, he explained that they looked boring and deserved better designs. Using pink gas, he made everyone faint and gave them new outfits while they were asleep.

He later gathered everyone in the laundry room to reveal the second motive: He had Chinatsu put up a white board revealing shocking secrets about every participant. Monokuma also explained that if nobody commits a murder within 7 days, the secrets will be revealed to the public.

Melody was killed after being set on fire during Emily’s birthday party, and Monokuma once again held a trial to figure out who is the culprit. Dennis was found guilty of killing Melody and was executed.

Chapter 3[]

A massive storm would happen at the camp, forcing everyone to stay at the diner. Monokuma did not try to incite a murder this time.

Over the course of a few days, several people had to leave the diner in order to get things done, but some went missing. During a search, the corpses of Hunter and Angela were found. In the trial, Marcus was found out to be the culprit and was executed.

Chapter 4[]

The next day, Monokuma makes everyone pack up and move to another part of the camp, where they would start living in a lakeside lodge. The lodge was very messy but the participants were able to work with it.

The motive this time was that Monokuma would keep telling the participants that he has a very scary and traumatizing motive that will be revealed soon, to the point where it’s better if someone just kills right away.

The participants later found a bunch of old tapes and films. Among them, there were recordings of all 53 seasons of a TV Show called "Danganronpa", featuring death games that were exactly like the one they were currently experiencing, which made them conclude that they were also in a TV Show. Victor was the most obsessed with watching the Danganronpa seasons, loving all of it.

Alexander would later be found dead, along with a suicide note saying his plan was to kill everyone and then himself in order to ruin the Killing Game. During the trial, Emily was found out as the culprit, having killed Alexander in self-defense. However, Monokuma still executed her for it.

Victor would then reveal to the remaining participants that, after watching all seasons of Danganronpa, he got his memories back and can confidently say he's the Mastermind of the Killing Game.

Chapter 5[]

Everyone despised Victor but there was nothing they could do as he was in control of the whole camp. Victor also pointed out that they aren't all innocent, as there's a traitor among the group.

Monokuma brings everyone back to the normal camp and claims that, while everyone is still trapped, the motives are over and the participants can do whatever they want. Most of them were tired and decided to just live the rest of their days in the camp.

Several days later, Norah went missing, and at some point everyone heard the “body discovery announcement” despite the fact that supposedly nobody found a corpse. They would ask Chinatsu, who reveals that someone injured Norah and brought it to her to be nursed. However, Chinatsu also claims that Norah’s body disappeared during the night, likely having been taken by somebody else. Marie, knowing she’s not the culprit and wanting to avoid suspicions, admits that she’s the one who accidentally injured Norah and brought her to Chnatsu.

Monokuma lectured Chinatsu for “giving away evidence” and forced her to enter a rocket, which was fired off into the sky but later crashed into the land and exploded, leaving only Chinatsu’s skeleton. Monokuma then told everyone they have one hour to find Norah’s body or they will have to attend the trial without that evidence. They weren’t able to find it.

During the trial, it was found that the culprit was the late Chinatsu, who intentionally neglected her job and allowed Marie to die, and then hid her body as a fake mannequin. Monokuma knew how much of a Danganronpa fanatic Chinatsu was and didn't like the idea of her being an official Danganronpa culprit, so he decided to instead execute Marie, as she is the one who injured Norah in the first place.

Chapter 6[]

After Victor and Monokuma went missing, Jesse told the others (Kim, Julien and Harmony) that he called a bus to come rescue them. They were somewhat suspicious of it but decided to believe him. He tells them to hide, and they decide to do so at the recently discovered Mastermind’s lair. There, they find information about Danganronpa, their talents and the TV Show they’re in. Victor and Monokuma (who now stopped using a filter and sounds exactly like Jesse’s sister) appear and call out Jesse for trying to help the participants, with the latter saying he’s tired of the Killing Game. During the argument, Victor claims that they’re in the official 54rd season of Danganronpa. Jesse knew this was a lie, but was shot by Victor before he could say it, much to the anger of Jesse’s sister.

It’s unknown what happened to Jesse’s sister after her argument with Victor, as she is never mentioned again.

Victims[]

  • Autumn Palmer: Executed after being found guilty of killing Glenn Anderson. She was tied to a bed in a room full of plants. Monokuma put three pots below her, whose bamboo shoots grew rapidly and impaled Autumn. Monokuma then used pruning shears to decapitate and finish off her.
  • Dennis Wells: Executed after being found guilty of killing Melody Pierce. He was forced to answer a lot of trivia questions with either “yes” or “no”, with the time limit decreasing every time and the audience constantly throwing things at him. He fails the last question and tries to run away, but is killed after being run over by Monokuma’s prize car.
  • Marcus Ziegler: Executed after being found guilty of killing Hunter and Angela. He was strapped to a chair with a wax statue of Kim in front of him, while a poem was being read to him. An acid rain would start and Marcus, while moving around in pain, would end up falling into a puddle of acid and die.
  • Emily Price: Executed after being found guilty of killing Alexander Normandy. She was forced to search for a key in a room full of deadly traps. Despite her injuries, she managed to find the key and used it, but was faced with a choice: Die or get somebody else killed to escape. Emily was very remorseful about accidentally killing Alexander, so she chose to die, and was then thrown into a pit of spinning blades.
  • Chinatsu Johnson: Executed for allowing Norah to die and overall being a major nuisance to Monokuma. She was forced to enter a rocket, which was fired off into the sky but later crashed into the land and exploded.
  • Marie Lambert: She accidentally injured Norah and brought her to Chinatsu to be healed. Monokuma refused to let a fanatic like Chinatsu be an “official Danganronpa culprit”, so he decided to execute Marie instead. She was put in a dark room with a computer (which was livestreaming Marie) in front of her and a noose slowly lowering from above. Marie tried writing an apology to everyone she’s hurt, while the chat kept insulting her, until the noose wrapped and lifted Marie until she suffocated to death.

Quotes[]

Kim: And I live with my sister and dad, so I'm definitely not alone!
Jesse: Sister... Sucks for you. I also got a sister.
Kim: Oh? Do you not like her?
Jesse: Meh, she's annoying. She's like, 26 with the maturity of a fuckin' 13 year old.
Kim: How so?
Jesse: Well, she started professional work as a voice actress when she was 8. I started art commissions when I was 15. She moved out when she was 18. I'm 17 and no where near moving out. She's super extroverted and has loads of friends, I don't. So whenever I see her, she likes to brag about how much farther ahead she was at my age... And my parents don't do much to defend me.
~ Jesse talking about his sister to Kim.

Trivia[]

  • Her true appearance is unknown. She was supposed to appear in a screen during Chapter 6, but that never happened, due to the game's cancellation, and the script has no images of her.
