Jhon was originally the final character in Five Nights at Yoshi's, he was replaced in the 1.3 Spider Update by Spindly. Though, Jhon was slower at attacking than Spindly, had multiple poses, a different attack noise and forced you to close the game if he jumpscared you, other than that, they were both the same.
Jhon was replaced because Jeb yoshi was getting irritated with Jhon being the spotlight of attention. In his own words: "He's just an annoying character that constantly got memed on, it was a bad joke that overstayed its welcome. I was also annoyed how jhon recieved the most attention out of all of the characters, instead of the main characters that are actually canon to the story, just because haha memes. So I wanted to replace the bad meme character with a cooler one, thats all :)"
Appearance[]
Jhon was a crudely drawn Yoshi with a yellow head and a entirely red suit.
Mechanic[]
Jhon wouldn't have appeared until Night 6, where he would slowly drop from the ceiling of the office, where his appearance would be signaled by a horn. To repel Jhon, you would've needed to click him to get rid of him. If he lowered too much, he would jumpscare you.
Trivia[]
Jhon was supposed to be a reminder to Five Nights at Yoshi's roots on Scratch.
Jhon was the only character to have a different game over screen.
In unused content, there's an pose of Jhon in the janitor's closet with Yoshi and Daniel
This indicates that just like all other characters, Jhon was supposed to move around the building rather than stay on the office ceiling.
Jhon's name is most likely spelled wrong on purpose.
