James Edward "Jimmy" Leighton, Sr. is the overarching antagonist of LegoLe45's Circus Trip, a fanfiction based on the game, Circus Trip, and a main character of The Origin of The Giggler: A Circus Trip Story. He is the former Prime Minister of Robloxia who seeks revenge on the Favreau and Le families for his downfall and imprisonment, and he is an uncle of serial killer William Leighton Jr., known as the Robloxian Giggler.
Biography[]
Jimmy Leighton was born in New York City, New York, U.S., on April 8, 1935, as the third child and second son of businessman Henry Leighton (1904-1990) and socialite Charlotte Leighton (nee Tisserand) (1906-2001). His family is one of the wealthiest families in Robloxia, and they own a conglomerate corporation called Leighton Enterprises, Inc., which is based in Lukington, Temisipo. His siblings are George (1930-2017), Lauren (1933-), William (1938-), and Victoria (1940-). At the time of Jimmy's birth, his father was managing the American branch of Leighton Enterprises. The family later moved back to Lukington after Henry received a promotion. He attended the University of Lukington Law School, and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1960. He worked for the Teamsters Union in Robloxia from 1961 to 1972, when he began running for a seat in the Robloxian Parliament as a Liberal. He won the nomination, and the seat, going on to work for then-Prime Minister George Shadow as Minister of Labour.
Circus Trip[]
In June 2019, Leighton traveled to Portwood, Idaho, to meet with his nephew, Billy Leighton, known as Giggles the Clown, the ringleader of Giggles' Circus. He had drinks with Giggles and his crew, and Jimmy gave his nephew $2 million in U.S. currency to finance the circus. Giggles, who is also known as the Robloxian Giggler, or the Giggler, later kidnapped 16 children and attempted to murder them. When it was revealed that Billy Leighton is the Robloxian Giggler, Leighton and his brother, Bill Sr., are (rightly) suspected to have been involved in Billy's crimes.
