Dammit Mike! I said you couldn't get more stupid and you took it as a challenge!
~ Jose's catchphrase towards Mike whenever he does something stupid.

Josengtt, or Ngtt, is the titular main antagonist of the cancelled Gacha Life YouTube series JoseTheGacha.

He is best friends with Mike, despite being the main character of the show, he is the perfect example of a protagonist villain, he is an extremely snarky and idiotic teenager with a tendency to exhibit very antisocial, abusive and obsessive behavior towards every other character in the show (Incluiding his best friend, Mike and his girlfriend, Maria).

He is the fictionalized version of the real-life GachaTuber of the same name.

Personality[]

Although initially the series depicts Jose as a dumb, harmless, compassionate and enthusiastic teenager, it quickly becomes clear that in reality, he is a deeply depressed, frustrared abuser with a lot of insecurities, traumas, and regrets, he is nothing but a very hateful, insensitive, problematic, discriminative, misogynistic, self-destructive, dimwitted hatemonger who never learns from his mistakes, he is ill-equipped to deal with life’s problems and takes out his anger, frustration and hatred on his friends, his girlfriend, and the whole of Gacha City.

Despite being a miserable, broken and pitiful teenager on the inside, in order to avoid coping with his problems, Jose normally reverses into a more lazy, irresponsible, and unintelligent version of himself, as well as inmature and cynical to the point of hurting and manipulating others regularly, most likely due to his own feelings of worthlessness turned into attention-seeking, constantly trying to poke at the insecurities of the others Gacha citizens, arguing publically about his own twisted views of the world, and avoiding accepting his problems and traumas in a healthy, responsible way, due to his abusive brother, his seeking for attention reaches a slighty sociopathic peak when he tries to avoid responsibility for causing Allison to commit suicide.

Jose is also very egotistical and narcissistic, constantly wanting to have the full control of whatever trouble is occurring, aswell as mocking or ignoring anyone who tells him he is wrong, incluiding Mike and Ashly, when he makes a mistake, he blames it on other people to hide the fact that he is not perfect, and he seems to be literally incapable of showing genuine affection or love to anyone but him, unless they can be actually useful to him, this regularly demonstrates his more abusive and monstrous side, constantly smacking Mike, stomping on him and manipulating his feelings and emotions just to psychologically hurt him, he also is shown to be an abusive and argumentative boyfriend to Maria, insulting and humillating her, even to the point of regularly cheating on her with other girls.

Jose also has a very deep hatred and fear of inclusiveness and progressivism, and seems to be really strict and controlling about it, he is highly homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic and racist, his ultimate goal on the series proves itself to try to prove that minorities aren’t worth supporting, and only bring misery and hate to people, showing that any young person that is exposed to those kinds of topics are doomed to end up as pitiful, worthless people like him, while at the same time trying to justifiy is monstrous actions via Mike, exposing him to his own beliefs to turn him into someone as hateful and abusive as himself in the future, which eventually leads to his unintentional, but well-deserved defeat.

Despite all of his terrible actions, it is worth noting that very deep inside the abusive teenager Jose is, there was nothing but a sad, tormented kid with a deathly fear of all the bullying and suffering the world had inflicted into him, however, his biggest mistake out of all is his unwillingness to see the full picture and realize that what hurted him were not the superficial things, in reality, persons brainwashed to their own beliefs and ideals, as well as his unability to portray a world where people were, if just a little, more happy than him his own narcissism helped create, eventually turning something that was not objetive at first, into something true, his own brother's words, he is worthless.
