Junko Enoshima, better known as The Symbol of Despair, is the main villain of the fanfic "The Watch of Despair". Afterbeing revived thanks to the remaining remnants and the Monokumas, she remains determined to fulfill her sole objective.
Like her canon version, she is the ultimate despair that destroyed the world a few years ago, until Makoto Naegi and his friends used hope to stop her, and his followers without knowing that some are still out there, waiting for the right moment to end the new era of hope.
Biography.[]
Beginnings[]
In short, just like her canon version, living in a desperate environment with her sister Mukuro where she even believed that her mere existence was a mistake, being born with an analytical ability, showing exceptional intelligence, developing an unhealthy obsession with despair seeing it as the authentic human experience, being admitted to Kibougamine as the definitive model, planning her ideology on despair in secret, manipulating Izuru Kamukura to orchestrate the Worst and Most Despairing Incident in Human History, carrying out death games to further spread despair throughout the world and voluntarily executing herself once she is defeated, although that did not erase her legacy.
Resurrection[]
After finally being resurrected by the monokumas and their faithful followers who were still loose in the world, she was informed about the hope program and did not miss her opportunity to take advantage and try to cause "the second tragedy", gathering the rest of her followers (Among those releasing from prison the one who revealed himself in Springdale) and creating more monokumas along with their variables, they prepared their entire plan, including creating keneshi kamukura using scientists in their favor through threats, however, she also discovered about the yo-kais and the clock that helps communicate with them, gives them as a secondary mission to steal it and use it for their benefit, that is, use the yo-kai to spread even more despair throughout the world both humans and yo-kai and while all this was happening, decided to appear at the anniversary event of hope revealing himself to Makoto Naegi, on the side of his main plan, sends to capture Hailey Anne seeing her as a good candidate but when he sees Isabel he changes his mind and kidnaps her, turning her into keneshi Kamukura, instilling despair in her, also kidnaps her sister, Mukuro Ikusaba, along the way, torturing her both physically and mentally in an attempt to convince her to defect to the side of Hope. He tells her that no one else will ever forgive her anyway, especially reminding her of what happened at the event. It is revealed that she orchestrated it, leaving Mukuro in shock.
To be continued...[]
Personality[]
The same as the canonical one.
Relationships.[]
Remaining remnants[]
They feel confident that Junko, their symbol, will return, willing to follow their instructions blindly, something Junko is also happy about although she cynically disparages them for their incompetence and stupidity.
Hailey anne thomas[]
He saw it as having potential for keneshi kamukura, but he discarded it.
As Hizuki enoshima[]
If he hadn't completely dismissed her, he would have reconsidered changing her first and last name, adding the Enoshima surname, so that her desperate legacy wouldn't be erased. He would treat her like a younger sister, considering her superior to Mukuro. Hizuki, for his part, would see Junko as a role model, imitating her in certain actions; Junko would have given him a Monokuma inspired by an otter.
Isabel[]
She was the final choice for Junko's plan.
As Keneshi kamukura[]
Just like what would have happened with Hizuki, Kenshi would have seen Junko as an older sister, to the point of imitating her in certain acts, she gave him a monokuma based on a rabbit.
Mukuro ikusaba[]
If it was already clear that she had a certain reluctance towards her, in this case it increases, because Mukuro wanted to be part of the hope along with Makoto (although he understood her relationship with Kyoko), and at the time of kidnapping her and keeping her captive, he does not miss the opportunity to reproach her for that and mock her for saying that they would never forgive her anyway.
Makoto naegi[]
Junko maintains her tense relationship with Makoto (just as in canon), not missing the opportunity to mock them for actually thinking that despair had been extinguished.
Kyoko kirigiri[]
It's the same as in canon. Although they don't usually interact directly, Junko avoids overtly involving her in her plans, knowing that Kyoko can anticipate her moves. Kyoko, for her part, doesn't allow herself to be provoked or manipulated, and remains alert to any sign of activity related to Junko once she learns of her resurrection.
Hajime Hinata[]
It's the same as canon. According to what she tells Keneshi, although Junko still admires Izuru's potential, she despises and mocks Hajime for abandoning his identity as an Izuru Kamukura. Hajime, for his part, still despises Junko for what she did to him and his companions, especially Chiaki.
Monaca towa[]
Junko recognizes how distant Monaca is now, no longer caring about hope or despair, although she still misses their past together and faithfully assures that Monaca does too, deep down.
Chiaki nanami[]
Scarred by the past, Junko considers her a key player who needed to be eliminated in order to emotionally destabilize Class 77-B again, while Chiaki remembers her as the person directly responsible for her death and the collapse of her friends; having a rational confrontation.
Nate adams[]
Junko steals Nate's Yo-kai Watch not out of interest in Yo-kai per se, but to use it to perfect her plan. Nathan, though initially confused and frustrated, only wants to reclaim what represents his connection to Whisper and Jibanyan. Junko sees him as an ordinary boy with a powerful tool, useful only as long as it upsets the balance between the spiritual and the human.
Yo-kais in general[]
Junko doesn't form emotional or functional bonds with Yo-kai; she sees them as useful entities, but just as they manipulate humans, she can manipulate them and turn them into tools to plunge everything into despair.
Trivia[]
- The idea of junko being "definitively" resurrected was thanks to a creepypasta (In Spanish).
