Chaos Hunter (known as Junter for short) is an overarching antagonist of the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Universe series by JaizKoys. He serves as a secondary antagonist of Sally.exe: Eye of Three.
He is a simulated being created from a cataclysmic crash that caused the virtual Sonic the Hedgehog and Exetior to fuse together during an alternate take on the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning ending.
He is currently voiced by MCThunder203, and formerly voiced by both Quentix and DarkBox, who has also voiced acted Knuckles, Pervision and Negagen from the same series, and has also voice acted Exeller from Sonic.exe: The Sprits Of Hell
Overview[]
Junter was created in the older version of Sonic.exe Nightmare Beginning during the Good Ending route of that game. In Destroyed Mind, there was a beam that fused both Sonic and Exetior, creating Junter. The simulation then crashed, yet Junter escaped. Following the insanity after the timeline collapsed, Junter blamed Exetior for the deaths of his friends and decided to go for revenge.
Junter uses his new found abilites of dimension-warping to try and find a way to fight back to Exetior and finds a timeline after the events of the Best Ending of Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning. A alternate Knuckles seems to be guarding the Master Emerald. Junter asks Knuckles if he could use the Master Emerald's power, while Knuckles denies him, thinking Junter is the Sonic of his timeline, saying he just got his body back. Junter proceeds to uppercut Knuckles and landing onto the Master Emerald, spewing blood from Knuckles' chest. Knuckles pleads to Junter not to use the Master Emerald's power, but Junter proceeds to use the Master Emerald and turn Knuckles into a blue Chaos Emerald.
Personality[]
Junter is insane, following the reason his eyes are shrunk. He kills anyone just for a Chaos Emerald but sometimes he'll kill someone without a Chaos Emerald due to his insanity, following why he killed Amy in Continued Nightmare when she didn't have a Chaos Emerald and he killed Sally in Eye Of Three. He also blames Exetior for his friends' death, but Junter possibly has no friends since he kills anyone without reaction.

Simulation Crashed[]
Junter will rarely kill all of the girls that are alive in their routes in certain pathways. After he kills all three (two or one depending on the route), a cutscene will open showing Exetior walking up to a screen saying "The Simulation was Crashed" and see a note, which was written by Junter. After the note, it says Written by Exetior clearly trying to call Exetior out.
DSF Ending[]
Junter appears for a short amount of time, killing Cream.
Best Ending[]
Sally goes into a different route in Negagen's Temple and finds herself in a simulation of Resort Island. In the background will be Exetior, Tails and Knuckles on the Tornado, referencing the bad ending of Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning. Sally finds Junter and approaches him, ending up being killed by Junter.
End Of Hope[]
Junter appears telling Sonic that Exetior betrayed them and killed all his friends. Junter soon disappears and Sonic transforms into his Fleetway state and battles Exetior.
The Last Day[]
Junter serves as the main antagonist of this video. Diana and Exeanna are looking for a Chaos Emerald, and Diana experiences Mecha Crocs and a new model version of it. After Diana destroys the other Mecha Crocs and sees the new model version, she decides to take it home but it disappears. Diana walks away, and before her eyes, the Mecha Croc attacks Diana at full speed but Junter destroys it, showing the Chaos Emerald Diana and Exeanna were looking for. Diana takes the Chaos Emerald before she is confronted by Junter. Off screen, she dies from Junter while Exeanna's looking for her. Exeanna sees Diana dead and encounters Junter. Jaiz and Askaii goes to their location but as soon as Junter tries to kill Jaiz, Exeanna spin attacks Jaiz out of the way, before Exeanna dies as well. Diana and Exeanna's heads are shown before Jaiz's eyes. Askaii proceeds to tell Jaiz to hide and Askaii would deal with him. Jaiz starts to awaken his "Fleetway" form, called Psy. Askaii starts to tell Psy to get out and says that Jaiz and himself can handle this, before he is instantly launched off by Psy. The spirits of Diana and Exeanna proceed to battle Junter. Junter got hits on Psy, but due to his rage, the wounds heal. The spirits of Diana and Exeanna proceed to attack Junter as a distraction, while Psy gets a serious hit on Junter. Junter realizes Exetior's watching the fight and proceeds to find the dimension Junter is in's Sonic, Tails, Amy and Cream. Junter proceeds to kill the dimension's Tails, getting the dimension's Sonic to attack Psy and Junter goes into a different dimension, completing his reason why he was here, getting the Chaos Emerald. Psy proceeds to kill Sonic believing he was Junter infront of Amy and Cream. Psy went insane and killed Amy and Cream, but instantly powers down, because of the spirits of Diana and Exeanna telling him that he was the reason they died. Askaii regains consciousness and gains control of Jaiz's body and goes into their dimension while Exetior was going to take Jaiz into his army because of his Fleetway form.
Sally.exe Whisper of Soul[]
After knuckles survived Hydrocity and ended up in Forest Night Zone. Suddenly Junter spindashes through him and breaks his legs and then goes on top of him and turns knuckles into a chaos emerald that he collects. Junter then runs off, Exeller saw him do all of that and is confused as to who he was since he couldn't feel his energy and his time stop didn't work on him. He did feel a tiny bit of Exetior's energy though and assumes he is one of Exetior's slaves, so Exeller goes to visit Exetior to discuss things. Exeller tells Exetior that this thing looked like sonic and was really fast, Exetior quickly realized it was him and explained to Exeller all he knows about him and showed him one of the notes he left him. After that Exetior tells Exeller to kill this strange sonic if he ever sees him. Exeller then leaves to go speak with Alice and talks about the strange sonic to which Alice seems confused, Exeller wants to reset the timeline however and so both of them head to the master emerald.

- As said by JaizKoys, Junter hunts down Knuckles' souls because they can do things other souls can't since they're linked to the Master Emerald.
- Junter has half of Sonic’s brain and half of Exetior’s brain. If Junter were to kill Exetior, Junter would also die, as his half of Exetior’s brain would stop working.
- Sonic is the only one who can keep up with Junter since they are both Sonic.
- If Junter sucessfully killed Exetior, then he will lose his motivation to live and die, and his flesh will rot off and his skeleton will disintegrate.
