Kennedy Jennkins is a supporting antagonist in Season 1 of All For Luz, serving as one of the secondary antagonists (alongside the rest of the Heaven's Devils). He is the 17-year old leader of Heaven's Devils and Foxtrot Alliance.
Personality[]
Kennedy acts smug and confident when things seem to be going his way, with his team backing him up outnumbering his enemies and likes being a leader and letting others do his dirty work. However, he gets easily frustrated and scared when things start to go badly for him. He also believes Governor Maxwell intends to honor his agreement to pay him billions for killing Luz, but he had no intention of sharing any of it with any of his teammates, not knowing that The Governor doesn't intend to let any of kids live.
Kennedy tries to invoke the promise he made to his best friend Stanley to watch each other's backs to try and convince him to betray Luz, when Stanley he refuses he attempts to attack him, forgetting he had Shock Absorption in his anger. In retaliation for turning his offer down and fighting back, Kennedy gets his team to kill off half of Stanley's, to the latter's shock. He apparently has enough charisma and leadership skills to convince 20 other kids with Quirks more powerful than his to commit murder for him for a cut of the prize money and turn on their other leader, Emilia, who was against taking part in it. He can also be hypocritically, mentally berating his underlings for being frozen in terror after witnessing Luz kill Thomas, despite doing no better.
Part of the reason he desecrates Julia Wittebane’s corpse is because he projects his hated of her family on to her, seeing them as a bunch of pretentious snobs. Despite his borderline sociopathic nature, Kennedy wants to help his parents who are in financial debt, and sees winning the Death Game was the perfect opportunity to solve their money troubles, despite how immoral it is.
When Luz starts wiping out his 22 strong team one-by-one in her rampage while stealing their Quirks for herself, Kennedy eventually has a complete breakdown and tries to flee, displaying cowardice by abandoning his comrades to try and save himself. He spends his last moments begging for mercy, as Luz gives him none.
