Khãn, also known as the Selfish Lion, is the overreaching antagonist of Disney's The Lion King franchise.
He is an elderly lion from the day when Mohatu was the first king of the Pride Lands and the one who corrupted young Scar/Taka when he got scratched in the eye by an angry buffalo and saw him as a reflection of himself, therefore only to use him as a bait to have the Pride Lands for himself.
Following the demise of Scar, Khãn would yet again be exiled to the Outlands when Simba took his place as the rightful king,...
He was voiced by Clint Eastwood.
Appearance[]
The selfish lion is lanky and thin. His main pelt is an orange-tinted brown, while his muzzle, paws, and underbelly are tan. He has a scraggly brown mane that reaches the middle of his chest, tufts of brown fur on his elbows, thick black eyebrows, and a goatee. His eyes are brown.
Personality[]
The selfish lion does not like to share. He is impetuous and impatient, and has no desire to assist his fellow creatures. In fact, when antagonized, the selfish lion will retaliate with aggression and ferocity.

- Attempting to dry out other animals while refusing to share the water with them.
- Corrupting Taka/Scar after seeing him as a reflection of himself.
- Starting a fire in the Pride Lands, and throw Kopa into the river, attempting to kill him, without knowing that he failed and making Simba and Nala's life miserable without him.
- Murdering the Outsiders for their betrayal against him and Zira by destroying the new Lion Guard and have the Tree of Life burned to ashes.
- Attempting the use the resurrected Scar as a bait so he could have the Pride Lands all for himself, unaware that Scar himself as using him instead.
- Sending his minions after Kion's Lion Guard to make sure that Kopa will never return home to the Pride Lands.
