King Dedede is one of the many characters on the YouTube plush channel, LuigiFan00001. He is an anthropomorphic and obese penguin who is self-proclaimed to be the king of a Planet Popstar country called Dream Land. He is mainly Kirby's rival and arch-nemesis, though he is often his frenemy.
He first appeared in Total Stuffed Fluffed Island Season 1. He later returned in Total Stuffed Fluffed Island Season 3, only to get eliminated in the 21st episode because he wasn't supposed to return. Aside from the Total Stuffed Fluffed Island series, Dedede has appeared as a minor character in other videos. In the final episode of Angry Birds Plush, The Final Flight, Dedede was one of Red’s commanders when the Angry Birds were fighting against an evil bird and alchemist knight named Plague Knight.
He was originally voiced by LuigiFan00001, but is currently voiced by Steven Rose.
Appearance[]
King Dedede is a fat blue penguin who wears a red and white royal clothing and a red cap with a white ball and yellow rim on top of it. He has a yellow beak, yellow feet, black and white eyes and black eyebrows. He has a peace sign emblem on the back of his royal clothing.
He also has some yellow mittens, and is constantly carrying around his trusty mallet.
Personality[]
Dedede is shown to be a greedy king who likes eating food and stealing them from any Dream Land citizen and thinks that he is better than Kirby.
Despite being a villain, Dedede isn't as evil as a majority of other villains on LuigiFan's channel. He is more or less of a lazy villain who usually minds his own business and doesn't really cause any harm. Despite this, however, it does not change the fact that Dedede still has a grudge against Kirby.
He also has some heroic actions such as helping Kirby and teaming up with dozens of other characters to defeat Shrek in Go Shrek or Go Spirits and teaming up with the Angry Birds to defeat Plague Knight in The Final Flight. In addition, Dedede is shown to care about Kirby at times (particularly in Go Shrek or Go Spirits), even if he mainly has a grudge against him.
Dedede is shown to be a prankster when he laughed at both Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong when he was impersonating King K. Rool.
Powers and Abilities[]
King Dedede is shown to have a few abilities which are mostly using his trusty mallet and fighting people. He is also shown to have an ability of inhaling, as shown in The Final Flight when he inhaled Red to save him from being attacked.
