Bowser Koopa, better known as King Koopa, is the main antagonist of the Super Mario 64 rom hack, Super Mario Bros. Super Show 64.
He is the leader of the Koopa Pack who was responsible for putting Mario's apartment under a spell by capturing Power Stars and conquering worlds before making his move to destroy Sayonara City.
His vocal lines are shared from the late Harvey Atkin.
Biography[]
King Koopa is the tyrannical leader of the Koopas who was destined to rule the Mushroom Kingdom and to defeat his archenemy, Mario, for foiling his plans. To achieve his goal, King Koopa invades and conquers each world the Koopa Pack enters by capturing every Power Star and hide each of them to potentially prevent them from being foujd by Mario and entrusts his main henchmen to safeguard them. Once he captures each world, he would then cast a spell on Mario's apartment to slow down his progress of trying to stop him from completing his goal before setting up his plan to destroy Saynora City as a final step of fully conquering the Mushroom Kingdom.
With Mario retrieving many Power Stars and liberating worlds, King Koopa decides to propose a court with the intent to prevent Mario from fully foiling his plans for domination. Setting Mario up for a trap, King Koopa dresses up as a judge and incriminates him by falsely accussing for the crimes he didn't commit. Mario attempts to stop this by objecting and pointing out his crimes, but that didn't stop King Koopa for sentencing him to be imprisoned to Koopatraz and work there for fifty years before announcing his plan to destroy Sayonara City and sending him to a cell in Koopatraz with Toad in it.
While Mario and Toad make their plan to escape, King Koopa manages to capture and consume the Super Sushi, tutning himself into a titan and begins a destructive rampage across Sayonara City. Once Mario makes his escape and arrival as a giant, King Koopa finds him in this state and makes his preparation on fighting him. Thinking of an easier way to defeat him, Mario lures King Koopa to the tower across the bridge where he makes his way to grab him in the tail before spinning him around and throw him at the tower, defeating him. King Koopa becomes frustrated that he foiled his plans yet again before he announces his get away to one day return before teleporting, leaving behind a key that leads to the hidden world known as Hell as a drug-induced world due to the illusions of images of Mario, Luigi and Toad it is covered with Luigi now as a Thwomp and keeper of the last Power Star. Mario then defeats Luigi and claims the last Power Star, fully putting an end to King Koopa's curse in the apartment.
