Kizuna Tomori is a supporting antagonist in the korean danganronpa fangame Danganronpa Another. She’s the Ultimate Cheerleader.

Raised thinking beauty is everything, Kizuna is a person who uses her looks to take advantage of men to make them her personal servants and trick them into giving money to her.

While just an unpleasant pervert at first, she gains a major role in chapter 2 after attempting to kill Akane Taira and getting fatally stabbed in the process. This results in Ayame Hatano having to finish off Kizuna in a heroic sacrifice to prevent Akane from becoming the culprit.

Personality[]

Kizuna grew up thinking looks are the only thing that mattered, and as result she became obsessed with making herself seem beautiful and charming. Her goal was to make sure all men would fall in love and do anything for her. She would constantly flirt with several boys and try to convince them to give her valuable stuff.

This also made Kizuna very egotistical, as she would always think of herself as the one in the top and become angry at anyone who did not respect or love her. At the same time, she was also insecure and stressful, always worrying about people finding out about her weakness.

Another major trait was her perverted behavior, as she would act super intimate even towards people she just met, though she didn't want to waste her body on a "random nobody".

During the Killing Game, she was very unpleasant and didn’t seem to get along with the other classmates. Despite this, she felt very lonely and did seem like she wanted to improve. This was later abandoned during chapter 2, where she becomes willing to murder her own friends in order to escape the Killing Game.

In school, Kizuna was a very talented cheerleader, to the point where whatever team she was cheering for would always win in a sports game. Influenced by her mother, Minako Tomori, Kizuna grew up thinking appearance is all that mattered, and so she dedicated herself to become irresistible to men.

A lot of people fell in love with her, and Kizuna manipulated them to become her personal bodyguards, who would always do anything for her even if she didn’t ask them to. Kizuna herself didn’t care or feel much about them, but sometimes she would let them sleep with her cheerleading partners as a reward for their work. This behavior led to Kizuna developing a twisted sense of how friendships are meant to be.

At some point, Kizuna was invited to enroll in Hope’s Peak academy due to her cheerleading skills. After the tragedy happened, she and 14 other students were rescued by Yamato Kisaragi and taken to the Kisaragi Facility. However, Utsuro and Akane Taira, who were inside the facility, knocked out all sixteen students and wiped out their memories. After the Kisaragi Foundation was remodeled to look like Hope’s Peak, all students (with the exception of Yamato) were put on the 1st floor, with their memories modified to make it look like they had just joined Hope’s Peak.

Prologue[]

All students, including the mastermind, woke up inside the Kisaragi Facility, thinking they had just entered Hope’s Peak academy. They decided to introduce themselves to everyone while waiting for the entrance ceremony.

After introductions were over, they were told by a mysterious voice to gather in the gym. There, Monokuma appeared and explained their situation: He claimed they were gonna stay trapped in the school forever and the only way to escape would be by committing murder and getting away with it in a class trial.

Chapter 1[]

After a day has passed, the students decided to work together to escape. They investigated in groups every day, in hopes of finding clues to getting out. They didn’t manage to find much.

At some point, Monokuma was disappointed that several days passed and a murder had not happened, so he decided to give everyone a motive. He told them to go to the A/V room. There, the students found DVDs, one for each student. The content of the DVD’s showed the viewer’s most precious things and people in great danger. This left the majority scared and made them wanna get out even more.

The next day, a murder occured: Kiyoka was found dead in the girl’ restroom. The students then had to investigate for the class trial in order to find the culprit of the murder. During the class trial, Kizuna kept accusing Rei of being the culprit, but Yuki was able to prove her innocence, and eventually found out the real culprit was Mitsuhiro Higa. He was then executed by Monokuma for committing a murder and failling to get away with it.

Chapter 2[]

After the last incident, Tsurugi reunited everyone in the dining hall. He told the rest of the group that he wants to protect them, but also wants to make sure they will follow anything he says, and will refuse to protect any rebels. Rei, Kinji and Kizuna decided to step out, not wanting to be part of Tsurugi’s dictatorship.

After a few days have passed, Monokuma reunites everyone in the gym once again, for a second murder motive. In the gym, he gave everyone notes, each revealing a secret about a random student. Kizuna got Teruya’s secret, which said he still sleeps with his father. At some point, she also found Yuki’s secret, which said he might know the identity of the mastermind.

While they were walking, Yuki and Akane overheard Kizuna crying and lamenting about herself for being lonely. Because of that, Akane and Yuki reunited everyone to go talk to Kizuna and make her feel better. Kizuna at first refused help, but Akane hugged Kizuna and said she sees her as a friend anyways. Kizuna pretended to go along with them, when she was actually planning a murder.

Kizuna later told Akane to meet her at the powerhouse, which she did. There, Kizuna told Akane about Yuki’s secret and asked Akane to help murder him, as he was probably a bad guy. Akane refused and tried to talk Kizuna out of her plan, but Kizuna was still determined to escape, and instead tried to murder Akane. It backfired, as Akane managed to escape and also accidentally stabbed Kizuna.

Kizuna was slowly dying and there was nothing she could do to save herself, so using her blood, she wrote “Maid” on the ground as a dying message. Ayame, with conflicted thoughts about saving Akane or escaping the Killing Game, decided to stab Kizuna again to become the culprit instead of Akane. In her last moments, Kizuna changed the dying message to “Not the maid” before dying from blood loss. During the class trial, Ayame was found guilty of killing Kizuna and was executed for falling to get away with it.

Linuj stated that, if Kizuna had the school life memories that were erased prior to the Killing Game starting, she would not try to commit murder.
