Kris Dreemur is the main antagonist of the YouTube series AIrune by lugmilord and the inferkit ai. He serves as the main antagonist of episodes 1, 5, and 6, the overarching antagonist of episodes 2, 3 and 7, and the final antagonist of the series finale.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
Kris' backstory is largely the same as his official counterpart, with the only real difference being that at one point (presumably during chapter 2) Kris fought and lost against the dark force, which in turn possessed him. The dark force would use him to open the dark fountain at the Dreemur household. Kris was then sealed away inside the fountain and the dark force gained full control of his body.
Episode 1[]
Kris is the main antagonist in episode 1. He opens the fountain but gets caught in the act by Toriel, who tries to stop him but gets knocked out.
Kris waits outside for her to regain consciousness, and when she does, she chases him with her sword. He runs back into the house and into the garage as Toriel follows. admist the panic Toriel flips the garage generator switch, that somehow imobilized her.
After taunting Toriel for a bit, Kris decides he will come back for her later and drives into the unknown.
Episode 5[]
Kris returns in Episode 5, he ambushes Toriel while she is in the kitchen getting a drink, fulfilling his promise of coming back to haunt her. Toriel tells him to not anger her, and Susie, who had just entered the room, backs Toriel up.
Kris is visibly annoyed by their claims and, in a swift motion, strikes Toriel with his tail. However, Toriel dodges the attack and hides in the fridge. After a bit of back and forth between the two, Amethyst awakes from all the noises coming from the kitchen and asks what is happening.
Kris comments that the room is getting crowded, and the idea of torturing Toriel in front of an audience sounds fun. The fight continues until Kris hugs Susie for seemingly no reason, and then walks up to Toriel, who grabs him and cuts his tail off. Kris says that she will regret doing this and lunges at Susie, digging into her stomach, Toriel sees this and runs to her.
But Kris plunges his head into Toriel's body and digs through her stomach instead. Toriel eventually get him out, and in retaliation Kris throws her into a wall, and runs into the kitchen.
Episode 6[]
Kris returns in episode 6 as its main antagonist. After Toriel wakes up from passing out, he taunts her and disappears. He then reappears and attempts to eat amethyst.
A confrontation starts, but it's quickly interrupted by the sudden appearance of monsters. Kris watches the fight between the fun gang and the monsters unfold. When Amethyst suffers severe brain damage, she would start thinking Kris is her boyfriend and begs him to not die. Kris would mockingly reply with an “okay”, before jumping out of a window and fleeing the scene.
Episode 7[]
The Dark Force appears in Toriel's nightmare in the form of her mother, mocking and threatening her.
Unknown Time Period[]
At some point before the events of the series finale, Amethyst made a deal with Evil Kris that would make her more powerful, the cost presumably being all the misery the Dreemur family endures in the videos.
Episode 8[]
Kris makes their final appearance as the finale's final antagonist. After an intense battle with the galactic monsters, the real Kris' spirit shows up and guides them to the dark fountain, where evil Kris awaits.
After a bit of back and forth between them and Susie, the battle begins. Although it's a 1v1 at first, Amethyst is quick to join in.
Kris taunts her by bringing up the fact that she made a deal with him to get the powers she uses. Amethyst dismisses it and proves him wrong by transforming. An angered Kris would then attempt to strike down the now transformed Amethyst, but to no avail. After getting bested in combat, he gets finished off by being kicked off a cliff. It is unknown if the dark force is still alive.
Appearance[]
Kris looks almost exactly like his canon self, with the exceptions of having claws and a tail. It is unknown if the claws belong to his body or are from his dark world armor.
Personality[]
Before being possessed, Kris was described by Toriel as loyal, brave, smart and always protective of his friends. Evil Kris on the other hand, however, is a cruel, deranged, and megalomaniacal sadist.
They seemingly enjoy torturing people and making them suffer. Especially those Kris is close to, such as Toriel for example. They also show signs of egotism and manipulative behavior.
