Kuamo is a character created by Slima11 who originates from a ROM hack of Kirby's Dreamland called Kirby's Dreamland: REDREAMED.

He's a malicious code entity who manifested himself into the game when a player plays his own game.

Appearance[]

Kuamo takes on various forms throughout:

It's "Psuedo" form resembles Kirby the most, although this is also Kuamo's most restrictive form, it's hard to fit inside a small little ball when you're a big blob of darkness.
It's "Frogo" form will have his feet and hands on the floor, sitting down, being ever so slightly larger, with his feet now resembling toes, like 2 toes (it's kind of gross), with its mouth slightly open.
It's "Spider" form has 4 giant legs, (2 on either side) that were created after splitting the toes into 2, revealing its real mouth (or mouths) featuring 2 rows of teeth on each leg and with his eye fully open, this is his most commonly depicted form.
Kuamo's "Soul" form is when he is out of his shell, revealing his true form, a goopy blob of darkness with strange star shaped hands, with 2 thumbs on either side, in this form, Kuamo is completely unrestricted in his movement and can even fly, able to move and form his mass into any shape.

Personality[]

Kuamo resigns in a ROM Hack of Kirby’s Dreamland known as Kirby’s Dreamland REDREAMED (or REDREAMED for short). When someone plays the ROM, they will awaken Kuamo, giving him control over the ROM.

History[]

"Police Report of 2 children going missing had been released: a girl and her younger brother. Personal belongings we're found at the Parents' House. Items include: A laptop, a plush toy, a pen and a book -seemingly a diary- with several pages torn or missing.

It was the diary of the girl's younger brother. From what was written, we can tell his sister had gone missing prior to his disappearance, he wrote about what he had done on his sister's laptop, most pages seem to describe events from a game and some include small doodles of what may be characters from the game, although they are unidentifiable as of now."

(Note from Slima11: "I'm workin' on the story. Also potentially got a video series planned as well, and that's gonna be it's own story, it's going to follow some of the same events but like, with diffrent characters and such, and maaaaybe I'll get an actual playable game, I don't know, but I got plans")

Trivia[]

Kuamo's name derives from the "Kankuamo Marquezi" spider (which despite Slima's initial beliefs, aren't actually Australian).
Kuamo's Design takes inspiration from Lord X, this can be mainly seen in the Frogo form, where the feet are based on an early misconception that Lord X's toes are being outlined in his wrinkled shoes.
- Kuamo was also inspired by EXE.
Kuamo's mouth is in the middle of his legs, Slima has referred to them as "Mouth Legs".
Kuamo can grow to an immensely large size when fighting him at Mt.Dedede. (taken from Slima directly)
Kuamo is unable to gain copy abilities like Kirby is usually able to do.
Kuamo will open his eye hole with his hand, and then fly off into the skies when going into it's soul form, the rest of the body will become limp and hollow, it has no bones.
Through the glitching in the game, Kuamo can sometimes be hidden within.
Kuamo's Pseudo form has some similarities to Anti-Kirby from Link's Awakening.(Not directly inspired by)
Kuamo's fake eyes have some similarities to 0² from Kirby 64.(Not directly inspired by)
Kuamo does not have an Age.
