Ayako Takahashi, or simply better known as Lady Butcher, Is a character from the Deadskullable universe, and a major antagonist of the Skullslasher series. She is a crime lord yakuza supervillain, and the most dangerous warrior of Tokyo criminal underworld, one of the most powerful samurai users and the leader of the yakuza buisness. She would also become an enemy of the Skullslasher, as she is on his list of villains that needs to be killed.
Biography[]
Back in Japan, before Ayako became a crime lord, she was simply just an innocent little girl who was playing with her family in a park aross their neighborhood. but one day when Ayako was just ten years old, she witnessed both her whole family being brutally murdered on the orders of a deadly Yakuza leader while young Ayako was hiding on the closet, seeing everything unfold before her very eyes.
Unfortunately the men searched for witnesses but no sign of them anywhere. The crime lord then leaves but creates a fire around the house making the end of the perfect family. Ayako escapes the fire but was left permanently psychologically and emotionally damaged by the horrors and sadness she had witnessed at such a young age, and as she watched her childhood home burn to the ground and in dust, she then swore vengeance against the crime lord who did it.
With nowhere to go she searches for a place to live and find shelter. Luckily, a wise swordsman named Hitoru Kusaki noticed the poor young girl to be out from his dojo. He lends her in and offered in the need of food and warm. At such Hitoru had the thought of sending her towards the station, but to his thought it would be a terrible idea and instead lend her in for adoption to have her as a student and his very own daughter in his sword academy. For years, He had trained her all the method of how she would become a better samurai warrior, and year after year she became what she was meant to become as a professional swordsman. Days later, she told the truth to her master that an unknown yakuza boss killed her entire family and wanted to use her skills to find him and kill him. Hitoru refused and both had an arguement that would last on Asaka leaving the dojo and finding the crime lord herself. Luckily, she had found him and later took her revenge. However, while her revenge was already over she still hadn't let go of her past, she came back from the dojo covered in blood and was already lost of becoming a nice innoncent girl to a vengeful evil spirit. Asaka came to Hitoru's room and tried to kill her own master. Of course Hitoru had taken the win, but he had the thought of not wanting to kill her own adopted daughter. furious, Asaka stabs the old man by the shoulder and had fallen onto the garden unconscious. After waking up he found out that her own daughter betrayed and destroyed his academy dojo and his other students. Leaving him scarred and thus Asaka was no longer her name but the Lader Butcher.
years later and at her late teens and almost young adulthood, Ayako managed to become one of the most FBI's wanted list assassins in the world. wielding a sniper rifle which she used to kill some corrupt government officials, including civil right movement activists who were going to change the law of doing something that was good.
A time of night however when a mob lord was ready to go home with their bodygaurds with him, Lady Butcher shoots him in the head with her gun outside and elevator, one of the bodygaurds attacked her, but was to hard for them to handle her. However one bodygaurd manage to get to her by slicing her mouth wide open, and this made her furios by killing him this time successfully. With her mouth now having a new scar she then had a hospital mask to have her as a scared assassin for other to fear her. which the other people, decided that her codename would be the Slith-Mouth Women. she then had a disturbing noh mask that resemble her as the urban legend killer of japan, which to all the criminals and the people would fear and worried about her coming to them. Four years later, she became the head of the Tokyo Yakuza underworld with the help of Deceiver, who was her manager in the group that they met when they killed an innocent teenage boy that would later become her archrival.
Skullslasher[]
The story begin with her in a meeting with the Yakuzas from different areas of Japan's crime underworld, more conservative members of the Yakuza looked down on the Lady Butcher because of her mixed Japanese, American ancestry. One of them, Boss Kurai, openly insulted her with some slurs during a meeting. Without a word, the Lady Butcher with her enchanced speed decapitated him with her sword and warned all the yakuza bosses to never insult her or else she will have their tongues cut, referencing the Kuchisake-Onna urban legend from Japan, in such a way by holding up his severed head.
Lady butcher encounters the Skullslasher, who is on a mission to find and kill each one of the members that tortured him when he was a young boy, with the Butcher being the second on her list, the first being Edward Columbo, known later as the Deceiver. The Butcher orders her bodygaurds and her henchmen Mokugo to kill Skullslasher, while she makes her quiet escape. However, The Skullslaser easily kills nearly all of her bodyguards and kill her henchmen with an explosion before finally catching up with the Butcher.
Outside the club, Lady Butcher and Skullslasher have a conversation about the past before engaging in combat with their swords during a snowfall nearby a family cemetery that her families remains are place underneath. Lady Butcher superficially wounds Skullslasher, and mocks him by saying, "The great merciless boy who comes back from the dead only to be weakened." When Skullslasher gets wounded and almost in a coma. Luckily with the help of Hanks call he gets up and breaks one of her iconic doll mask. Which would reveal her to have the appearance of the Slith Mouth Women, and both ended at charaging each other. Luckily the Skullsasher stands victorious by slicing off her guts. her last breath was "That Method, was from Mr Hitoru." before falling down to the ground in the snow.
The Skullslasher leaves but seems to have a moment of pity just leaving her there, he decided to take her corpse and leaves her laying down near the tomb of her family she was condoling.
Personality[]
Presumably, as a child, Lady Butcher was happy and carefree, living a life that was good for her. However, after witnessing the death of her parents at the age of 10, she became a closed-off, vengeful evil, emotionless being, to how she reacted with her dead family.
Even when becoming full young adult she still has this corrupted, ruthless, and cold blooded mind, and does want nothing but to make sure she would be the most baddest crime lord that people would look up to her as.
Appearance[]
As said in her biography her appearance would have this wide scar on her mouth, Has a japanese noh masks with a carve slice on her mask resembling her face, and a fashion blue kimono around her. She also has a suit that is actually her assassin jumpsuit and everything she has is made out of blue. in a deadskullable trailer version however she has a full white kimono, doesn't really have her mouth carved, and her iconic noh mask does not appear for her to wear.
Trivia[]
- As reading the story to where she has another nickname that Lady Butcher had, it is true that she is based and inspired by Japaneses urban legend serial killer Kuchisake-Onna, also referred to the people as the Slith-Mouth Women.
- There is also another villain just like Lady Butcher with the same and difference name, and that is none other than a Yakuza villain from The Punisher (1989) Lady Tanaka. Which is also how the creator had based on with her name and cultural as well, including how Skullslasher's enemy would have been going through with her.
