Lance, the Rogue Ender Mage, formerly known as the Void Lord in a supporting character in the animated fantasy Minecraft YouTube series Fractures and the main antagonist of its prequels, War of the Ender Kingdoms and Tales of the Netherbane, made by Rainimator.
He was an Ender Lord that ruled over the Void Islands, however his experimentation with the Void and End Crystals mixed with years of isolation drove him insane. He presented a plan to take over the Nether and End to the other Ender Lords who all laughed at him, which drove him to conquer the Ender Kingdoms and turn it into an empire. Fortunately, he would be defeated by Ceris and the Ender Watchers, who would banish him to the Overworld. He is the ex-girlfriend of Gwendolyn.
He was initially voiced by Austin Lee Matthews, a mainstream voice actor known for voicing Roche in the 2020 video game Final Fantasy VII Remake before being recasted to Michael Zekas due to costs and other factors.
Personality[]
Lance is shown to be very flamboyant in nature, with has delicate eyelashes, his movements also are in the form of a dance rather than combat. He treats his fights less as actual fights and more like dance competitions. Lance also has a snobby side as well seeing himself as uniting the Ender Kingdoms to create a massive empire.
Lance also shown to be racist at times, viewing Nether inhabitants as "primitives". Before the events of War of the Ender Kingdoms, it's was stated that he was a kind and polite man, often having a gentlemanly and honorable personality. He valued the concept of consent and was always respectful, however years of isolation and experimentation took a toll on his mental health. It was implied that Lance in his younger years, was a "ladies man" and a "playboy" seducing Princesses and Queens across the End, he most likely had many lovers both romantically and sexually. Gwendolyn and Dyana-Whitewing are among many of his partners.
Lance also has a more unhinged and psychotic side, like when he talks to Skylor about hunting down Sora and tormenting her in a graphic and gruesome fashion, causing the former to call him a "monster". However, Lance snaps out of it and backs out on such a plan deciding that it would be easier to just get the Ender Crystals and move on, implying that the only reason he made such a plan was to scare her.
After his banishment, Lance remained ambitious and desired to return home, like when he decided to try and invade the Nether so redeem himself, however this resulted in his physical form being destroyed by Kane and his soul being transferred to his beloved Frog. Afterwards, Lance would stalk the Endstone Crusaders becoming an informant and likely ally for the group.

Other Ender Lords[]
Lance, prior to his isolation, was a gentleman who was spoken of highly by some Ender Lords, this would include Dyana. As established before, Lance had many sexual and romantic relationships, however due to the frequency and the fact that he has no current ones, it's implied he never managed to keep them together due to his interests in the End Crystals stopping him.
Prior to his betrayal, many of the Ender Lords mocked and ridiculed him for his outlandish ideas and findings, something that pushed him over the edge. Later, he became the most hated man in all of the End resulting in his banishment.
Nether[]
Lance shows clear hatred towards the Nether, viewing it's inhabitants as primitive and savage, this hatred soon grew when the Nether Empire destroyed the End and killed the Ender Watchers. This led to him working with the Endstone Crusaders, despite one of their members being responsible for his demise.
The Endstone Crusaders[]
The Endstone Crusaders (which consists of Rain, Stella, Kane, and Ciera) use Lance as a valuable ally, but since he is in the form of a frog, it seems that the group treats him more as a pet than an actual being. Often carrying him around like one would hold their pet cat and petting him. Lance doesn't seem to show any animosity towards Kane and it seems at Kane doesn't remember Lance all that much, especially considering that he constantly refers to him as "The Frog".
