Lawrence "Larry" Michalec Sr. (born August 11, 1959) is the titular main antagonist of Lunatic Dad.

They're known famously for Larry known himself as "Lunatic Dad", destroying electronic devices & others in fits of rage, as well as being pranked by his own son Kyle who is the cameraman and the one who always pranks his father. Kyle and Larry are also seen playing games on streams and on Dlive, but sometimes Larry starts to have a Lunatic Dad moment. Larry starts to destroy Kyle's things such as his PlayStation 3, his Bluetooth Headphones, and even his TV.
I Bash Dad With a Bottle[]
On July 17th, 2020, Kyle uploaded a video called "I BASH DAD WITH A BOTTLE!", the video shows Kyle and his father Larry arguing with each other about Kyle who keeps quitting jobs due to discrimination. After Larry told him that he'll be a bum if he keeps quitting jobs, Kyle lost his patience, decided to grab a bottle and bashed Larry on the head, causing Larry to faint on the floor in pain with Kyle saying "He deserved it!". This angered many fans because of how Kyle's behavior is exceedingly inappropriate towards his father. Kyle hasn't responded to the criticism since then, and we say that he will never respond. In a newer video uploaded called Dad’s Repercussions, Kyle was told that he could have killed his own father after bashing him with a bottle in the previous video. Larry also said that Kyle will not drum for 1 whole month, but Kyle went ahead and disobeyed him and drummed the very next day in a video called: "Lamb of God Omerta Drum Cover!". Many fans were enraged about Kyle not following directions and in the comments section, they wrote that Larry said no drumming for a month and that they hope Larry destroys Kyle's drumset due to Kyle disobeying him for hitting him with a glass bottle.
Lunatic Dad Kicks Out Dominic[]
On June 12, 2021, Lunatic Dad uploaded a video of him and Julie Michalec’s sister Michelle talking about Kyle’s mate Dominic not getting a job and laying around, partying all night and sleeping in the day. He even had an interview at 8:00a.m that day, but missed it. Then, Larry (Dad) went to the lounge area where Domionic was on the sofa, and told him that he had to leave. That day, Kyle wrote that his dad had no heart.

On September 27, 2021, Stephen and Jack Quire from wafflepwn, infamously known for their Greatest Freak Out Ever series, received a copyright strike from the Lunatic Dad YouTube channel. The reasoning Jack and Stephen Quire received the copyright strike was because the two "didn't ask for permission"[1] which has returned with backlash, with Jack ranting and Stephen enraged.[2]
Lunatic Dad Demolishes PS3[]
On February 12th, 2017, Kyle uploaded a video called "LUNATIC DAD DEMOLISHES PLAYSTATION 3, Kyle's brother Lawrence Jr. recording him just to annoy him. Then, their dad Larry enters and finds out Kyle hasn’t had any work under his belt, telling him that he was being a bum watching TV and going on his gaming console. Dad turns the TV off, but Kyle puts it back on when he isn’t looking. Then, the TV gets turned off again and Kyle’s dad fetches his hammer, takes the PlayStation 3 and smashes it to bits, shouting and telling Kyle he was tired of him playing games and blagging with him about making videos and making money.
Lunatic Dad Rips Apart Mom’s Dishwasher[]
On April 12, 2021, Kyle and Lawrence Jr. uploaded a video of Larry smashing their Mom (Lunatic Mom)’s dishwasher after an argument about Kyle not washing up properly. He stamped on it, ripped the top bits out and finally destroyed it! He called Kyle a blithering idiot as well. At the start of the video, Larry told Kyle he had the Coronavirus vaccine the day before.
Dad’s Number Got Leaked[]
On July 16, 2018, Kyle leaked his father’s phone number on Twitter, tweeting: "Guys, I want you to retweet this all over and Dad, you just got pranked here. Has this number got you? ******". Kyle asked his father if he had got any calls, but revealed that he leaked his phone number after Larry saw the tweet. All day, strangers pretending to be companies or restaurants were calling him, including a guy called Ricky Quartez. He even attempted to drop Kyle’s phone in the toilet.
