Leo Salazar Ryuuguuin is one of the four main antagonists (alongside Lukah, Counter Shin and Margreth) of Kazanryu's Kingoms of Fall franchise.

Appearance[]

Leo shares the most of Rai's appearance, but unlike him, he has the left eye dark green and the right eye black. in addition, he has the hair a bit more longer that his brother, reaching his shoulders.

Also, the things that are maroon in Rai, is dark green in Leo's cothing.

Personality[]

Leo is a man devoid of principles, driven solely by his own self-interest and personal comfort. He does not adhere to any moral compass, nor does he see value in the concepts that others hold dear. To him, beliefs, ideologies, and societal rules are nothing more than foolish constructs—meaningless attempts to impose order on a world that, in his eyes, is inherently chaotic. However, in a contradictory twist, he also considers freedom to be just as absurd, viewing it as another hollow illusion that people chase without realizing its futility.

His only true concern is his own amusement, and he finds no issue in using the struggles of others as a source of entertainment. Whether people fight for liberation, cling to rigid laws, or desperately seek purpose in their beliefs, Leo simply observes, relishing the spectacle. He does not take sides nor seek to control the outcome; he only cares about the show they put on for him. Their efforts, no matter how passionate, are just temporary distractions to keep him entertained.

At his core, Leo finds satisfaction in witnessing chaos and oppression unfold before him. He enjoys the sight of disorder, the collapse of ideals, and the suffering that results from humanity’s endless conflicts. It does not matter to him whether he plays an active role in such destruction or merely watches from the sidelines—so long as turmoil surrounds him, he is content. If peace ever threatens to take hold, he may even take matters into his own hands, subtly manipulating events to ensure that the cycle of conflict never ceases.

To Leo, the world is nothing more than a stage, and the people in it mere actors performing for his amusement.

Biography[]

Leo Salazar Ryuuguuin was born in the middle of war, in a world that was always marked by chaos. The son of a union between a member of the Salazars and a woman from the Ryuuguuin clan, Leo was conceived in a time of violence and betrayal, but also in a time of hope, when the two families attempted to build a connection beyond their differences. However, his fate was sealed from the beginning, marked by darkness and suffering.

From a young age, Leo witnessed the brutality of the gangs in which his family was involved. The Salazars, a family of pyrokinetics, had been drawn into a life of endless fighting, searching for and destroying ancient relics, while suffering the horrors of gang warfare. The Ryuuguuin, for their part, arrived in Venezuela for purposes that were never revealed, but their destiny was irremediably intertwined with that of the Salazars.

Leo's life was further darkened when his mother, a member of the Ryuuguuin clan, mysteriously disappeared shortly after giving birth to him and his two triplet brothers. His mother's absence, along with his father's departure for a gang, left Leo in an environment of constant violence. From an early age, he was forced to survive on his own, becoming involved in the activities of the gang to which his father had been recruited.

Despite his calculating and cold nature, Leo felt no loyalty to either side. In his mind, gang warfare, beliefs and ideals were just empty excuses to justify suffering. Leo simply wanted what had always been missing in his life: control and entertainment. The idea of following rules or beliefs seemed like a complete farce to him. Freedom, on the other hand, he saw as another ridiculous concept. The only thing he cared about was his own pleasure, and if he had to manipulate others to achieve it, he would do it without remorse.

His behavior made him a hated and feared figure, both within the gangs and outside of them. In particular, the Salazar and Ryuuguuin families viewed him with contempt. The Salazars saw him as an aberration, a symbol of the corruption of their own blood. Leo, with his contemptuous attitude and indifference to family values, became a target for the ire of those who sought to preserve the integrity of his lineage.

But it was his betrayal of the Ryuuguuin that truly cemented his place as the most hated enemy. In a ruthless turn, Leo betrayed his own clan and manipulated several members of the inner circle to gain more power. His desire to see the world burn led him to hand over some of the Ryuuguuin's most loyal members to rival gangs. This caused a series of deaths within the clan, which made him an outcast, someone that not even his own could forgive.

The Salazar family blamed him for the loss of their mother, because, although it was never confirmed, many suspected that his betrayal had something to do with her disappearance. The idea that Leo could have been responsible for their mother's death left an indelible mark on the Salazar brothers, especially the triplets, who saw him as primarily responsible for their suffering.

The hatred towards Leo grew over the years. While the Salazar family and the Ryuuguuin clan tried to rebuild their lives and recover what fate had taken from them, Leo continued his existence as a shadow in their minds. No matter how many efforts they made to escape the war, Leo's name always haunted them, reminding them of the price of betrayal.

Today, Leo continues to seek his own entertainment, no matter who he destroys in the process. The constant persecution by the families that were once his is just a reminder of the monstrosity he has become. For him, rules, loyalty, beliefs and justice are just empty concepts that give meaning to the pain and suffering of others. Leo remains a man who walks in darkness, seeking his own amusement in the destruction of those who still believe in something beyond themselves.
