Link is the main antagonist of The Legend of Zelda creepypasta "The King's Suicide" and it's video adaptation by the user Chinelin. He is a version of Link depicted as a demonic murderer who is possibly the one who poured some sort of poison in the wine to kill the King and make it look like a suicide. He would later go on a killing spree with his sword, killing Gwonam and several people.
Appearance[]
Link's appearance changes multiple times during the creepypasta. At first, he looks like his usual self. However, after the King drunk the wine, he became completely black with a shade of red, empty eye sockets, sharp teeth and blood dripping out of his mouth. Afterwards, his appearance is later depicted as a shadowy figure, before returning to his original appearance, before finally becoming discolored with a red tint on his outfit, no face and white hair.
Personality[]
Link's personality isn't really described in the creepypasta, apart from the fact that he loves killing his victims, as seen with his demonic expression when he kills the King using poisonous wine to make it look like a suicide and kills several innocent people as well as Gwonam.
Biography[]
Link is first seen in the first few scenes, looking normal and stretching his arms before rolling his eyes like in the original cutscene, however, he did not speak at all, being mute like all of the characters in the video. Link then stared at the King, having no particular expression, before his face disappears for a split second. After the King got back to drinking his wine, Link is still shown staring at the King, but he had an evil grin on his face, his appearance having turned into an eyeless black demonic figure, as his pupils then flicker on screen for a split second.
Later in the video, after the King's death, he pulled up a sword that was on the ground and then was shown as a shadowy figure, whispering demonically. Afterwards, after Gwonam arrived on his carpet and told Link his usual line, despite being mute, Link pulled the sword up again and slaughtered him, covering the sword in blood. After appearing as a shadow figure for a second time, he picked up the sword once more and began to murder many people with it, with one person that slowly lifted their hand getting stabbed and chopped off. He finally approached an old man in chains as he begged Link to not kill him, but didn't listen and killed him by chopping him in half.
Link, now faceless and his colors having changed from green to red, approached the next person he was possibly about to kill, which is none other than the viewer themselves, as he glitched up before charging at them, causing the screen to turn into static, possibly killing the viewer.
Trivia[]
- The theme that plays during Link's killing spree is the same music from the Hotel Mario: The 13th Hotel creepypasta, but not reversed.
