Doctor Lionel Faustus is a major antagonist of the 2024 fanfilm Amazing Grace.
He is a megalomaniacal doctor and scientist who commits horrific experiments on his test subjects, and he is a close ally of Tom Masters, who ordered him to experiment on Benjamin Le Fay so they could know about his magical powers.
He is portrayed by Dan Stevens in his first fanon villain role.
History[]
Lionel Faustus is a sociopathic doctor whom enjoys experimenting on subjects, of which some amount of kids, and he is the monarch ruling Sector Nostalgia, which is meant for laboratory and for evil, horrific experiments conducted in his facility. He also happens to be the son of another member of the Faustus family.
The young Faustus is ambitious for power. At some point, he pledges his loyalty to his current superior Tom Masters, who convinced and often motivated him to continue his father's work at all costs. Among his test subjects, the young child and son of the famous witch Morgana Le Fay, called Benjamin Le Fay was experimented in the main facility in harsh and cruel ways. Faustus wanted to find out what his powers are like, presumably so Tom could steal or use them for his own benefit.
Faustus spoke to Benjamin, trying to convince him that he is safe in the facility. Benjamin warns him that his mother shall easily eliminate him. Faustus lies to him that his mother is the one to manipulate him and not himself. He tries to avoid consequences by ordering his bodyguards to take him away to be experimented later on, but Benjamin kills the guards and runs off as Lionel tries to strike him with a saber.
Later on, he talks to Tom about his failure. Tom scolds at him, but gives him another chance to "finish his father's work". Lionel orders the self destruction bomb to be activated once realizing his facility is under attack. Grace and Irene Adler successfully invade his facility, and kill him in order to find the subjects, only to realize that just before they came, Faustus killed all of the subjects except one rodent like mutant, who helped them escape in his secret tunnel.
Personality[]
Being very obsessed with finishing his father's work and causing mayhem for profit, he leads his team, experiments the weak ones in horrific ways and rules Sector Nostalgia with an iron fist and lots of scientific knowledge. He follows Tom Masters and his requests with no question, being used as a pawn who believes it is all for his father. He is sadistic, and out of his lust for blood he doesn't mind killing all of his subjects if he fails or something in his plan goes wrong.
