Lord Tirek is the titular main antagonist of the fanfic, Story of Villains: Lord Tirek.
He is a power-hungry centaur with the power to drain the magic and abilities out of other creatures.

Prince Era[]
Tirek and Scorpan were both born to King Vorak and Queen Haydon. Prince Tirek was the oldest of the two and was first in line to the throne. Tirek had a bad attitude towards his parents from the start as he normally ignores or argues with them. They did their best to guide their children and have them on the right path, but while Scorpan took after their examples, Tirek was shown to get into trouble at a young age. Because of this, his father King Vorak opposed his behavior and actions, which caused Tirek to develop an extreme hatred for his father. Thalina is very kind and caring towards both Tirek and Scorpan, but she secretly had dark intentions. She was on board with Tirek’s plan and wanted to help. She passes away before she could really help him. She told Tirek to never give up and to always find an opportunity to take.
Years have passed and Tirek was still trying to find a way to gain power but nothing came up. He then had an encounter with a shadow creater, the same one that Cobalt met. It tells him that he wants to help him and how he can obtain more power. This peaked Tirek’s interest and he listened. At dinner, Tirek told Scorpan about where they needed to go. Tirek and Scorpan followed the path and they arrive at an old, abandoned city, which is most likey Tambelon. They entered a big castle at the furthest back of the city. Tirek decides to use Scorpan as a pawn of sorts. He fills his mind with lies, filling his heart with darkness just like him. They enter the basement, which was full of many different spell books.
They spend up to a month and 2 weeks. The two have gotten much stronger and learned the basics of magic such as levitation and energy blasts. Tirek had learned the ability to steal magic. He also found an age spell and made himself and Scorpan able to live up to over a thousand years (Though he thought it would make them immortal). Scorpan wasn’t aware that this happened. Tirek was looking for a strength spell so he could become more powerful when he begins his attack. The shadow shows him a potion that would give him power. He drank it all and while he became more powerful, his human face had morphed into a monkey’s face and his fingers became sharp claws. Tirek didn't care, but Scorpan was worried about how they would tell their parents about this. When they returned home, Scorpan made up a story about sight seeing in the woods and told their parents and they believed it. Meanwhile, Tirek managed to get to his room unnoticed.
Lord Era[]
Tirek hadn’t been seen by his parents for a few weeks. Scorpan told Tirek about a meeting with the trade Ponies. Tirek saw this as a perfect opportunity to begin his conquest. Tirek walked into the throne room to his parents surprise. Tirek then steal all the magic from the ponies there. He then kills both of his parents and changed his title from Prince to Lord. Scorpan heard the commotion going on and ran to the throne room. Tirek lied to him saying the ponies were the ones to kill them. He then tells Scorpan that ponies are unworthy of their magic tell him that they should go and take all the magic of equestria.
As they arrive, they started to steal the magic of Equestria. They have been at this for a week. Scorpan soon began to appreciate the ways of Equestria, even befriended Star Swirl the Bearded. Scorpan urged his brother to abandon their plans, but Tirek refuses, even telling him that he was the one to have killed their parents. Scorpan flew away in distraught. Scorpan soon alerts the Princesses of his brother's intentions.
Tirek had set fire to a town and was about to take the magic of a young unicorn mare when Star Swirl stopped him. They engaged in battle and Tirek managed to overwhelm Star Swirl. Before he could kill him, Princesses Celestia and Luna, along with Scorpan, stopped him. He gave his medallion to Tirek. They all battled him and it ended with Tirek being sent to Tartarus for his crimes.
Aftermath[]
A thousand years passed and Tirek had grown old and small. He witnessed a battle between Cerberus and Queen Chrysalis going on. She eascaped with Cerberus chasing her. He takes this chance to pick through the locks and escapes. He hid himself in a cloak so no one could recognize him and waited to regain some of his lost power over. He sees Princess Celestia talking to the statue of Discord and learns about him.
Lord Tirek managed to regain more than enough power to finally steal magic from ponies. He then meet Discord for real and manipulates him into joining his cause and promises him freedom. He backstabs him and takes all of his magic. Eventhough Tirek felt Discord's magic was even greater than Alicorn magic, he still wanted all the Alicorn magic believing it would balance the chaos magic. As he left to go and find Twilight, he was able to see life on other worlds full of magic and even his memories of Twilight telling him and her friends about the mirror universe. He kept this info at the back of his mind, planning to travel throughout the universe and the mirror universe and take all the magic from both worlds. He does, however, admit that he would rather rule the world he was on currently and save the other goal for later.
He battles Twilight for her magic, ending with Tirek offering her friends back if she gives up her magic. This plan works and he was about to kill Twilight and her friends, going against his deal of letting them go, but they have ran off to the Tree of Harmony. Even though they were weak now, Tirek wanted to make sure all potential threats to him were killed when he takes over. He tries to draw them about by going on a rampage of destroying trees and killing animals. After he kills the Mane 6, he would destroy the Badlands and kill everyone while making Scorpan watch and then kill him as his revenge. The Mane 6 unlock the Rainbow Power and strip Tirek of all his magic and send him back to Tartarus in a cage.
Lord Tirek feels a lot of rage over this defeat. He soon resieved a letter from Cozy Glow asking him about magic. He refusing to help her. However, Cozy tells him that if he helped her, she could help him get his revenges. Using his telepathy, Tirek connects with her. He wants to help her as long as their conversation is kept a secret. Tirek teaches her how to drain all the magic of Equestria and to get rid of Twilight and her friends so that she can become the ruler of Equestria. Their plan nearly works until Tirek realizes that he would be trapped with the very creatures that he hates most. He only helps them so that he wouldn't have to deal with them.
He and Cozy are soon teleported to a secret lair and meet "Grogar". He is against the idea of working with others at first, but after they retrieve Grogar’s Bewitching Bell, he decides to accept the team-up. He goes along with Chrysalis’s plan to betray Grogar. In the back of his mind, he secretly plans to betray the other villains. The plan worked and he gains power. He first go to his home city to destroy it, but it was already destroyed. He then gets the chance to defeat the Pillars and all of Twilight’s friends. Upon seeing the Windigo’s, he wanted to get rid of them so he doesn’t get frozen by them (Although he would have loved to let them turn Equestria into a frozen wasteland and take the magic of whoever is left alive). Friendship returns and defeats them and they are all turned to stone.
Appearance[]
Like his original incarnation, Tirek is a demonic-looking being with elements of a centaur. His lower body is black, with a white horse tail and cloven hooves. His upper body appears to be covered in black fur, except his arms and face, which are crimson red. He has a pair of razor-sharp horns and a white beard, his eyes are jet black with yellow pupils.
However, he starts off with a human face and wearing silver armor, but then changes to a monkey face.
Personality[]
Like his canon counterpart, Tirek is extremely power-hungry, sadistic, oppressive, ruthless, brutal, wrathful, abusive, cold-hearted, heartless and obsessive. His main goal is to absorb as much magic as he could to make himself all-powerful and he will stop at nothing to accomplish it.
The difference is that he wants to have complete and utter dominion over not only all of Equestria, but also the entire universe and even human universe. While he does have a preference not to kill his enemies, preferring to leave them alive, but powerless, to better oppress them, he had no problem killing his parents and trying to kill Scorpan. Tirek is also quick to anger, and his wrath is absolutely terrifying to behold. Also like the original, he is patient enough to wait for a long time after escaping Tartarus, recovering just enough power to become able to launch an assault on ponies and being an expert manipulator, He was even able to persuade Discord, himself known as an expert master of puppets, into joining him, only to betray him and consume his power after gaining enough magic to do so. He is easily far worse as he doesn't display any comedic moments.
