Lucifer Killingsworth, also known as both The Masked Man and The Inspector, is the overarching antagonist of the CartoonMania web series, serving as the main antagonist of CartoonMania: The Movie.
He is an egotistical, malevolent and ruthless mastermind typically embodying the traits of a nefarious cold-hearted villain, who strides at anyway to win, he is the self-proclaimed rival and arch-nemesis of Matthew Littlemore including all of the latter’s creations after being humiliated by him fifteen years ago in an Art Competition.
He is voiced by the series creator Matthew Littlemore, who also voices himself and some of his characters in the series.
Appearance[]
Lucifer Killingsworth adopts villainous features, with his pale yellow skin, minor lines on the side of his cheeks, brown hair and pants, black suit and shoes including a yellow and blue tie, and his stroke moustache. in a flashback, he is shown to lacks his mustache and wears a long white shirt along with his pants and hair kept. As the Masked man, he wears a white comedy mask with an angry expression and his full appearance is pitch black.
Personality[]
Lucifer was a pompous, snooty, greedy, cold-hearted and egotistically spiteful man who does what it takes to win at anything against his rival, even eliminating anyone who gets in his way including children like Timmy, Tanya, Penny and Victor.
After being disqualified from the art contest he was seeking insanity to get revenge on Matthew because Lucifer he never lose.
History[]
Past[]
Much of his past is unknown but he was mentioned to be in middle school, participating against a thirteen year old Matthew Littlemore in the art contest. He summited a portrait of the exact replica of the Mona Lisa by printing the portrait while Matthew summited some of his work... (JoJo: Some?) Okay... A LOT of his artwork, he didn’t care about the contest, Just wanted to win the $10,000 prize.
He was going to win until Matthew notices the printing date of his portrait, Matthew informs the judge thus disqualifying Lucifer and putting Matthew in first place making him win the $10,000 prize.
After the contest, Lucifer was upset about his disqualification, He now wants to seek revenge on Matthew, He over hears Matthew talking to his friends about him how he wanted to get a job in animation when he grew up. Although Lucifer would was labeled cheater through out middle school, This begun his idea.
10 years later, When he was seeking into more insanity he wrote down and formulated the perfect plan to track Matthew down and ruin his life.
Prior to the event of the film, He gets a Mr. Rage's assistant at the animation department where Matthew Littlemore lives closest to and convinces Rage inspect his home and make his famous temper under control.
CartoonMania: The Movie (2019)[]
Entering as The Inspector[]
He comes to Matthew Littlemore's 100-story home as The Inspector, Matthew introduced him to his most important characters (Penny Bleat, Stanley the Half-Man Half-Camel, JoJo Violet, Victor Virus, Timmy Tiger and Tanya Tigress) as well as other characters. While Matthew was not looking when he introducing them he secretly swipe his keys to the house.
Lucifer's Evil Plan / Dressing up as the Masked Man[]
Later that late night before morning, Lucifer puts on a black suit including a white mask as known as Malevolent Mastermind to break into the house.
He first mutes Norman and deactivates his mobile body so he won't wake everyone up.
He sneaks into Mes Franzmer's room while he was sleeping and took his hypnotizing pocket watch to use on Chompy to attacking Penny the next time he sees her without leaving a trace of his identity on the watch’s browsing history as he left it outside the Hotel.
While Matthew was saving Penny, Lucifer filled Chicken Wizard's room with sleeping gas causing him to fall into a deep slumber, He takes his wand and ran to the library, where he poofed a new page from Matthew's Greek Mythology book and banished Stanley into the sandstorm, along with the page to return back.
While Matthew and Penny were saving Stanley in the deserted wasteland, Lucifer quickly knocked out Professor Qwertyson with a red wrench and grabbed JoJo and strapped her in a giant mechanical hand above the giant vat of Acid, and then tied the unconscious professor onto a pipe and gagged him to prevent him from saving her, So that the acid would dissolve JoJo, Thankfully Stanley and Penny got rid of the acid due to imagining a situation to save Victor while Matthew traveled inside the gears and quickly grabbed JoJo who was later caught by the rescued Hector.
While the three were saving Jojo, Lucifer went to the defenseless Norman’s screen and installs the anti-virus to the house, putting Victor in danger as he gets sucked into the earth’s core, knowing that Matthew will come and save him and lose his stress ball to spite Matthew’s anger for him when his rescued creations pulled themselves as a ladder to escape from the Virusaurus Rex.
And off-screen he kidnaps Timmy and Tanya.
After Matthew saves four of his most important characters, the five spot Lucifer (who is still black suit with a white mask) and proceed to chase him around the house, Mr. Incredibone catches him and gently puts him down, Matthew grabs onto him and is about to removes his mask only for the masked Lucifer to kick him in the groin and climbs up a ladder but Penny cuts it down, Lucifer then quickly grabs one of a Matthew’s elemental characters Heat and attempts to blow up everyone with flamable gas but is hit in the head by Zack Zebra, Lucifer runs away as the gang chases him but successfully escapes the house.
The Bad Guy is Revealed[]
Lucifer comes back as The Inspector under the suspicion of Mr. Rage monitoring his uncontrollable Temper, thats when Matthew quickly finds the paper in his pocket and reads the Antivirus installation tutorial, Matthew realizes that Lucifer was the one behind it while nodding wickedly, briefly Matthew didn’t recognise him until Lucifer shows him his left scar in which a dumbfounded Matthew realized that he is indeed Lucifer Killingsworth.
Lucifer proceeds antagonized Matthew for making him lose the art contest and tells him why he did that by explaining his plan and he did that so he loses his temper and spite him from achieving his dreams, Matthew was about to be enraged while the latter attempted to encourage Matthew but he quickly calmed himself by using a sponge, Penny violently attacks Lucifer for almost killing Victor which unknowingly dropped a piece of paper but Matthew pulls her off him as he gets up, Matthew begrudgingly tells lucifer to leave his property, much to his character’s confusion and leaving Lucifer to with a smile as he calmly walks out of the house to exact his next plans.
When Matthew notices that his two tiger cubs Timmy and Tanya were missing due to a broken window, Lucifer calls him via video call (possibly hacked into his computer) and reveals that he kidnapped them, He tell Matthew we will let both of them go if he gives the $10,000 even going so far to threat Matthew that his two tiger cubs will be turn into fur coats, After the call, Lucifer then reveals Timmy and Tanya that he's not simply to let the cubs after he gets the money, He says that When Matthew enters the warehouse, he pulls out his gun and says that Matthew will be shot him to death by firing at a pipe, much to the tigers cubs horror and he leaves them to reload his gun and urges Timmy to come up with his last words to his Girlfriend before slamming the door.
Matthew is about to leave with the ten grand only be stopped by Norman and assures him that If he give him the money, Lucifer would win, Matthew stumbled upon Lucifer’s note that was dropped earlier while he was pinned down by Penny and reads it, revealing Lucifer’s end goals to “Shoot Matthew in head the and Turn the Tiger Cubs into Fur coats and Bomb Matthew's house killing everyone inside”, much to his extreme horror as he begins to cry in his office before he snaps into anger and enforces a Mob attack on the warehouse to save his missing characters.
Matthew and his 320 Characters vs Lucifer Killingsworth Fight and Lucifer's Demise[]
Lucifer awaits for Matthew to rescue his cubs as he ponders about killing both Timmy and Tanya to dispair Matthew’s, but then looks out the window and sees an angry mob of Matthew's characters including Matthew himself who is incredibly furious.
He block the entrance so Matthew and his creation won't get in, but Matthew enters via tube, lunges on Lucifer with the urge to kill him as he tells him after he is done beating him, he will wake up in Hell before laying the first punch but Lucifer dodges causing for his fist to aim for the shredder instead hurting his hand, Lucifer knocks him down and points his gun at him, Matthew announced he has the money, Lucifer lets his guard down as tries to peak inside, but Matthew’s punched him through the fake bag of moola. Lucifer throws Matthew towards his barrier as the latter let in his characters in to ambush Lucifer but the latter escapes the character’s grasps and gets up onto a table and throws a pipe and a knife against the characters while insulting them, but they direct back his weapons as Lucifer is about to grab his bat to toss at them once again, Penny attempts to attack him, but was quickly grabbed by the throat and was taken hostage, He then empowers Victor who electrocutes him, blinding Lucifer as he falls off the ladder, endangering penny who was quickly caught by Victor, Lucifer evades the mob while being attacked by most of the cartoons who he victimised until Quacky Wacky hits him with a club, Lucifer is soon confronted by Matthew’s mob after being beaten down,
Now had enough, Lucifer takes out his gun to point at Matthew's characters, Matthew Littlemore, who had set Timmy and Tanya free, tackles Lucifer to another room and a fight ensures for two men began trading blows with one another, Lucifer then scratches Matthew’s face and taunts him, to which Matthew is barely unphased and two men looked fearce at each other.
Lucifer hits Matthew down after telling him to give up after the latter’s refusal, Stanley, JoJo, Penny and Victor come in stop Lucifer but he points his gun at the gang telling them to not come closer and then point at Matthew and tell him that this event should never had happen if he gave him the ten grand prize and is ready to kill him, but Timmy and Tanya jumps in and scratches him, Angry, Lucifer point his gun at the Matthew who then trembled, until Timmy and Tanya intervened by clawing Lucifer‘s face, Matthew realises this, but Lucifer quickly recovers and shoots Timmy, who was later revealed to be unconscious after being shot in the right arm.
Matthew and Tanya including some of the characters see Timmy’s body and believe that Lucifer killed him. This was the final straw for Matthew Littlemore, His rage starts boil up as his stomps towards Lucifer, as he realized this while Matthews teeth clenched and face burning in rage. As Matthew begins to lets out bis immense rage against Lucifer, Tanya quickly grabs Timmy while the place started to rupture, leaving Lucifer by himself being yelled at by Matthew, the characters watch in shock and some of them covered their ears as Matthew yelled at Lucifer with enough energy, Lucifer attempts to shoot Matthew but the force of the yelling blows up the bullet and his gun, Matthew's yelling starts disintegrate Lucifer as Lucifer lets out a big "NOOOOOO!" as his body disintegrates into his skeleton and then his skeleton disintegrates into nothing before Matthew stops yelling and manages to calm down thus ending Lucifer's tyranny.
Trivia[]
- It's unknown how Lucifer got the hideous scar on his left arm. Matthew did tells his gang about him and Lucifer and Lucifer had scissors; thus meaning that Lucifer was possibly stabbed in his left arm.
- He was meant to appear in the reboot series as a demon.
- He is inspired by Sideshow Bob, Jafar, Professor Ratigan and Scar.
- However, he lacks any redeeming traits that Sideshow Bob had.
- He is the only character in Animator320 series to die and be killed directly by Matthew Littlemore.
- He is also the only character to make Matthew snap and reach his full anger.
