Why do they blame me for all their little failings? They use my name as if I spent my entire days sitting on their shoulders, forcing them to commit acts they would otherwise find repulsive. 'The devil made me do it.' I have never made one of them do anything. Never. They live their own tiny lives. I do not live their lives for them.
~ Lucifer Morningstar

Lucifer Morningstar, (formerly known as Samael) is a fallen rebel archangel; he serves as the main villain protagonist of the Revelation of Eden. He is one of the three original archangels that forged creation and the infamous ruler of Hell. He is commonly known as the Devil or Satan by humans. Having grown tired of ruling the Hell for billions of years, after being cast out and fallen from Heaven, Lucifer voluntarily "retired" to earth to become a businessman and nightclub owner in Los Angeles, operating an company called Morningstar Industries and an establishment called Lux alongside his consort, bodyguard and a longtime servant is the powerful demon Mazikeen. Lucifer also works alongside occult detective Matt Wright. This position gave him an outlet to punish sinners.

But soon his past is coming back to haunt him- and the memories and secrets of the bast are soon to be unleashed, for the ruler of Hell.

Biography[]

In the Beginning...[]

Before the Omniverse was created, in the void outside all of creation, Yahweh created three brothers, he fused with literally nigh-omnipotent power: Micheal Demiurgos, Gabriel Hornblower, and Samael (who would later be known as, 'Lucifer Morningstar'), after they were given their powers, God guided them into how to use their new powers over creation- and with that, they helped to form the Omniverse, Heaven and Hell- and all of creation.

Growing Up In Heaven[]

As an the Eldest Angel, Samael was the brightest, most beautiful and most powerful of all of God's archangels. He was thought to be God's favorite. His siblings admired, respected, and even feared him. He played and trained with his siblings, however, he and the other elder Angels often excluded Uriel from their activities. Due to this, Uriel would pull pranks on Samael. He was very close to his younger brother Azrael, nicknaming him Aze, and enjoyed pranking Michael with him and Gabriel.

Samael's Heavenly Rebellion[]

Samael coveted free will, like humanity, and chose to rebel against God, who he viewed as controlling. He told Yahweh directly that he was going to start a rebellion, but his Father just found it adorable. Samael, changing his name to Lucifer Morningstar in defiance of their Father, led his vast rebellion; With one-third of all angels in heaven at the time assisted him.

Banished to Hell[]

His rebellion ended in failure and he cast down to Hell for his crimes along with all who followed him by God, banished from ever returning to Heaven or else be incinerated upon his return. When he landed in Hell, Lucifer was the first to awaken from the impact and called out to his unconscious brethren to stand with Satan (Satanael) and Beelzebub (Triel) being the first to rise followed by the other innumerable fallen angels one by one. Afterwards, Lucifer formed the Seven Deadly Sins and created the seven rings of Hell, assuming control over the dimension as the supreme ruler.

Lucifer has ruled Hell for eons, gaining an incredibly fearsome and terrifying reputation as the personification of evil, conceived in many cultures and religious traditions. He became known by many names and titles, including the Devil, Satan, Beelzebub, Old Scratch, Abaddon, Belial, Prince of Darkness, the Dark Lord, the Prince of Lies, and the Lord of Temptation. Though despising many of them, Lucifer actually liked Old Scratch. He, however, came to despise his birthname, reminding him of his fall from grace. His relationship with Azrael soured, as he felt like he abandoned him, never bothering to visit him while in Hell.

Tempting Eve[]

Eons after his fall, Lucifer met the first Humans, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. There, he introduced them to the knowledge between good and evil by eating the fruit from the Tree of Life. While having a fling with Eve, Lucifer asked the first woman the one question no-one else bothered to ask her; if being Adam's wife was what she truly desired. His interest in what she wanted resulted in a close friendship with Eve. These acts, however, angered God enough to banish Adam and Eve from Eden and send them to Earth to live out there days.

Days later, Lucifer happened to meet Eve once again while on Earth and resulting in producing, Adam Morningstar, the elder half-brother of Cain and Abel. When Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel, and the latter was murdered by his brother to protect him from Yaldabaoth, he was sent to Hell and became it's first tenant. After that, Lucifer became aware of Cain becoming the "World's First Murderer" and how he was cursed by his Father with a mark that would be known as the "Mark of Cain" in the future. When Humanity grew in numbers, Lucifer commanded the Demons to stop possessing the bodies of deceased damned souls, not wanting them to cause havoc on Earth, killing Humans before their time. The punishment for disobeying him was incineration.

Visits to Earth[]

Throughout human history, Lucifer would occasionally visit Earth. In around 2700 BC before the common era, he met Gilgamesh and befriended him. Lucifer was responsible for the burning bush Moses encountered. Lucifer befriended King Tutankhamen of Egypt before his death in 1323 BC, and he helped King Solomon build The Temple of Israel employing the Ars Goetia to do it. He engaged in parties with Julius Caesar, and spent time with Atilla the Hun, developing a fondness for Hungarian rum balls. He also spent time with King Arthur, and would be given Excalibur by Merlin as requested by King Arthur when he died. He aspired Baldwin IV, the Leper King to not give up because of his leprosy.

Between 1599-1601, he gave constructive criticism to William Shakespeare while he was writing Hamlet, and was gifted a signed copy of one of his books as a thanks. Even though Lucifer "de-pantsed" Napoleon with Gabriel, he received a horse statue from the dictator. He was given The Imperial Sword by George Washington. He attended Sigmund Freud's bris in 1856 and became close friends with him, being gifted his personal journal before he died. In 1892, he met writer Oscar Wilde and became a lover to the "interesting bachelor." He gave him a quote about the stars that Oscar used in his hit play Lady Windermere's Fan. He came to regret giving him the quote, growing annoyed by all the people quoting it back to him. Sometime before Grigori Rasputin's death, Lucifer started a "private club for magicians" with him that angered the Romanovs.

Either before or during World War II, he visited Nazi Germany and mingled with them. He reserved burning crotches for them and pedophiles, and eventually developed a dislike of listening to Adolf Hitler's screams. At some point after the war, Lucifer acquired a 22-bedroom castle in Austria that "hardly got bombed" during the conflict.

Lucifer hated the rumor that associated him with goats, never figuring out how it started, as he doesn't "even like their cheese." He grew to despise Satanists, who worshipped how he is perceived as in The Bible; embodiment of evil.

Living on Earth[]

Having grown tired of ruling the Hell for billions of years, after being cast out and fallen from Heaven, Lucifer decided to "retire" from ruling Hell and moved to the once place he ever felt accepted Earth.

Now running a company called "Morningstar, Inc." and piano bar called "Lux" in Los Angeles with the assistance of his consort, Mazikeen.

Lucifer's "retirement" was disturbed by a series of associates from his past, and after various catalytic events, he endeavored to redeem himself. This puts him on a collision course with several powerful mystical entities that have a vested interest in him and draws the angelic host into the fray - including his family.

Description[]
