Lucy Baldimore is a major character in the Bonus Feature shorts found in the main menu of Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning: The True Story and an unlockable killer in the Saiko no Sutoka parody game Saiko no Sensei. She is the spoiled wife of Jason Riley and the mother of Baldi Baldimore. She resides in Waynesboro, Virginia, USA. Today, she is 75 years old. Lucy is also mentioned in Baldi's Tape #1, #2, and #8.

She is voiced by CourtneyTotalDrama9000 in Saiko no Sensei, while Michaela Laws voices her in the shorts.

Appearance[]

Young[]

Lucy Baldimore is a tall and slender curvy woman in her 20s bearing a striking resemblance to her son, Baldi. She has pale-tan skin, rosy cheeks, black eyes with thick eyelashes, red lipstick, and semi-long, bright yellow-blonde hair. Like Baldi, Lucy wears an attire consisting of colors and styles matching with his. She wears a long-sleeved green dress, an exposed blue bra with periwinkle lace, blue pants, and brown shoes. She has a golden engagement ring on her left ring finger.

Current 1999 & Saiko no Sensei Appearance[]

Lucy Baldimore is now a scary 52-year-old woman who is thicker and a bit shorter, still keeping her curves and her ring. Her bright yellowish-blonde hair is now a light, silvery-grayish tone and her skin is lighter and a bit wrinkly. Lucy's attire is now a green short-sleeved blouse with a navy-blue apron, dark-periwinkle glasses, and keeps her blue pants and brown shoes. She also has darker glossy lipstick and the rosiness on her cheeks is gone.

Personality[]

According to other people, Lucy is described as a kind and friendly woman who seems to get along with anybody but is very private about herself. But her real personality is a combination of a psychotic Yangire and Yandere, or simply, a Yandegire/Yandeguire. A Yandere is someone who loves a certain person so much that they are willing to threaten, harm, or kill any other person who seems interested in or just wants to interact with them. A Yangire is someone who kills because of a certain condition or past trigger. Lucy always dreamed of teaching educationally, and that there was one boy in her life that was the perfect guy. One day, she meets the same guy who works at the same school she works at and falls madly in love with him, thinking of him everyday. Not only did she seek to get rid of anyone who threatens to take Jason away from her, but she also sought to get rid of any students she personally finds "dumb or bad at math".

With her role as a mother, she is a Caucasian version of a tiger parent, as she puts pressure on her child with her high expectations of his success in education, but is softer when it comes to things that aren't related to education. As a child, she was raised spoiled, becoming a rotten, obnoxious, and entitled kid who couldn't stand anything else being denied.

Role in the shorts[]

"Lucy's Story"[]

Lucy Baldimore was born in 1947. Her mother - Baldi's grandmother - was a psychopathic teacher that kidnapped and killed students that she saw were "not good at math". And her father - Baldi's grandfather - was a Mindslave that was mind-broken by his wife into loving her unconditionally. Due to her father's state of mind, Lucy was mostly raised by her mother, who raised her harshly when it came to academic success and her knowledge of education. But, her mother was soft when the subject doesn't regard education, and likely told her at some point, that she was exactly like her when she was a child, and that, one day, she'd meet someone special who would "complete" her, just like she did. She also never hid from Lucy what she did to her father. Lucy was neutral towards her mother, which is normal for the Baldimores before they meet their lover for the first time, and Lucy's mother had less knowledge to pass on to her daughter, and only taught her the basics. But Lucy still loves and respects her mother.

Just like in the case of her son, since early childhood, for many years of her life, Lucy has suffered from an inexplicable, incurable condition, that left her with a sense of being incomplete yet mentally unstable with thoughts of killing others for things she wants or expects. Not only was that a part of Lucy's condition, but she was also overly smart. The symptom of being very smart lead her to having great and high education in school subjects, mostly relating to the arts of mathematics. Lucy grew spoiled and demanding from her parents giving her a lot of attention and things because of her condition, but pretended to be a normal person in order to avoid drawing negative attention from others, but was never able to feel any degree of chemistry towards other human beings. In elementary school, she was bullied a lot and nicknamed "Blondie" by many. She at some point began to teach at a university as a education major professor.

Lucy was on her first year since April of 1969 to January of 1978, but since she hadn't met "a dumb student" yet, she didn't cause any trouble. However she did meet up with a young man named Jason Riley, who she fell deeply in love with and began stalking him. Jason worked as a secretary in the university. Eventually, in May of 1969, when Lucy was 22, she started killing and torturing her students who "failed" to do things correctly. Her maniacal and insatiable habits grew even more stronger and insecure as she collided with a Straight-A college student named Delaney, who was her enemy ever since during the first day of her job of teaching. Although they hadn't even spoken, Lucy instantly became attached to Delaney and began with putting her through trouble and tested her on hard questions, as she was "apparently" the one who got her worked up with causing even more trouble than there already was, according to the former. After Delaney escaped Lucy, the latter planned to confess her love to Jason but never got a chance to because of a journalist she has never met before stopped her. The journalist's name was Kriv Dhar and he told her that he documented the "disappearances" of the students in the newspapers. Every. Single. One. In. Every. Single. Newspaper. One day, Kriv saw Lucy walking around the town square, and wanted to follow her to see what she was up to. Lucy eventually caught Kriv Dhar following her. He turned and ran when Lucy noticed him, and followed him to the airport and saw him get on a plane to California.

"BASECAMVHSNO.1"[]

Lucy kept Jason in her basement and tied him to a chair standing there, just like her mother did to her father. However, unlike her mother, Lucy decided to not mind-break Jason (because of feeling pity for her own mind-broken father) and she kept him tied to a chair for a long time, until she was 100% sure that he wouldn't try to run away and he'd never try to leave her.

"Baldi's Childhood"[]

As revealed in the "Baldi's Childhood" video, when Lucy eventually forced Jason to be in a "relationship" with her, he married her, took her surname, and moved out to live with her. Lucy gave birth to her son, Baldi Baldimore, on June 9th, 1970, when she was 23, still in her early 20s. She named him "Baldi" based off of her past traumas being bullied by other kids making fun of her blonde hair, so she named him based off of his bald head. Because Lucy and Jason, as college staff, had to work for so long, a nanny had to take care of Baldi every week as a child until they had break. As Baldi grew up, Lucy put pressure on him regarding is education and academic success because he was overly smart like her and she expected a lot from it. She told Baldi at some point that she was exactly like him when she was a child, and that, one day, he'd meet someone special who would "complete" him just like she did. However, she never told him what she did in the past, as she promised Jason to never do it. Because Lucy always knew about Baldi's condition, she didn't worry about him, but Jason really wanted to help their son and make sure he didn't pick up too much of Lucy, and be a normal family, which included taking him to hospitals and doctors. Lucy tried to explain to Jason the condition of their son, but he didn't want to listen to her words and just kept on fighting. That was until Baldi began to pretend to be "normal".

"Baldi's Childhood Lesson"[]

Lucy found ways to "teach" Baldi how to get away with murder. At some point during Baldi's early childhood, when they both were preparing dinner together before Jason got home from work, Lucy "accidentally" (but actually purposefully) cut her finger with a knife. She asked a worried 6-year-old Baldi to clean up the blood while she bandages herself. When Baldi washed the blood off the cutting board with tap water, Lucy informed him that the blood was actually still there. She then took out some luminol from a drawer next to her and sprayed the place where the blood was. Subsequently, Lucy turned off the lights and using a black light, and showed Baldi that the bloodstains were still there. Then, Lucy turned the lights back on and took hydrogen peroxide, sprinkled the place where the blood was, and wiped it. Afterwards, Lucy turned off the lights again and using a black light, she showed Baldi that the bloodstains were no longer there. In this way, Lucy taught Baldi how to correctly clean up blood after committing murders, mostly to students he won't like.

"BASECAMVHSNO.10"[]

Lucy came back to her house after following Kriv, and saw Jason browsing their old VHS tapes for no reason. Lucy told Jason that she "saw someone who she hasn't seen in decades", mistaking his curiosity with jealousy, and then informed him to pack his bags and that they are going to California. When Jason protested and asked about their jobs at the university, Lucy reassured him that she already called their boss and told him about it, and he was "very" understanding. Jason uncovers that this situation took place a day before Baldi's first day of his sophomore year in highschool, and Lucy expressed that since he'll have utterly no problems whatsoever taking care of himself, and she hopes Lucy will meet "someone special", and will have a girlfriend by the time they get back. Jason responds negatively and thinks it's too early for him, but quickly changes his mind after being intimidated by Lucy. At the end, when Jason wanted to pick up the VHS tapes so that Baldi wouldn't find them, Lucy told him to not bother and that she hopes he does. She then calls Baldi, telling him that he can get out of his room now (implying that Baldi might've gotten sent to his room for doing something disrespectful). It's unknown if Lucy ever caught Kriv.
