M ,:;,,, known as M for short, is an entity who appears in the SM64 rom hack named sm64.z64 created by by realjefftastic. He is the minor antagonist of Friday Night Funkin': Classified and the opponent of Better Off. M is the strange, white Evil Doppelgänger of Mario who chases him in the last level and kills him.

ROM hack[]

SM64.z64 is a short Super Mario 64 romhack by realjefftastic featuring a time attack challenge at Bob-Omb Battlefield. Upon finishing each run, something will change.

Appearance[]

M appears as a black and white version of Mario floating slightly above the ground. He has oversized arms and hands and instead of a face, there is a screen of multicolored glitches, with only the outline of a mouth seen showing that it is agape. He also has an array of glitches that cover his front body

Biography[]

M appears in sm64.z64 as the game's sole hazard, appearing in the final iteration of Bob-omb Battlefield after the level's timer expires. M spawns at the beginning of the level and flies to Mario's position, forcibly crashing the game on contact. M cannot pass through objects, and speeds up over time. As the final iteration of Bob-omb Battlefield cannot be completed, it is impossible to escape M, and the player will have no choice but to reset the game after M catches them.

Abilities[]

Abilities[]

  • Glitches: M makes a sound similar to the sound of interference. When M catches up with Mario, the ROM will crash and give an error
  • Flight: It has no animation and drifts through the air without moving a limb disturbingly fast, and always knows where Mario is.

Trivia[]

  • You can play the ROM; here .
  • M is inspired by the effects of cartridge tilting in SM64, and is meant to be an error within the code, It has no thought process and is merely there to take, and take, and take, and take, and take.
  • There is a possibility that M will fail to crash the game, causing him to spin around the player endlessly.
