Mad Ducktor is the main antagonist of Ronpa and Friends. He's the mastermind of the killing game and the culprit behind Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's murder. He's the clone of Gyro Gearloose that went rogue and usurped his creator in order to try and build an empire for himself. However, after countless battles with the Duck Avenger, Mad Ducktor grew impatient and bitter and decided to get revenge by massacring the entire world before initiating the Killing Game.
Personality[]
Mad Ducktor is a sophisticated and calculated individual. He's very smart, knows how to cover his tracks, and stay above his opponents. Despite trying his best to hide it, he's shown to be extremely vengeful, willing to massacre the entire world and torture the ones he hates the most just to get back at the Duck Avenger for his losses. Despite showing to spare his enemies, he's clearly pragmatic about it and only keeps them alive so he can torment them further, killing them when the time is right. He shows sadistic tendecies despite his sophisticated nature, such as mocking the deceased and insulting the survivors while showing them videos of his massacre on the entire world. Unlike most Danganronpa masterminds, Mad Ducktor's villainy seems to stem from a goal he wants to achieve rather than an ideology or environment he wants to keep running, focusing his character on knowing exactly what he wants and what to do to achieve it.
Biography[]
Past[]
Mad Ducktor was created as a clone of Gyro Gearloose after the latter had trouble juggling his duties as an inventor while giving Scrooge McDuck a helping hand. However, alike Gearloose's other creations, he would go on to turn evil. Jealous of Gearloose's success, he kidnapped Gearloose and usurped his position in order to create an empire of himself.
Donald Duck took on the mantle as a hero, taking the persona of the Duck Avenger. He and the Mad Ducktor would have countless battles with the Mad Ducktor failing each time. Scrooge McDuck also fought against him making the Mad Ducktor lose 20 times. Upset over his losses, the Mad Ducktor grew in more resentment over each one of them even to the point of forgetting what his initial plans were and soon decided enough was enough. Filled with vengeance, Mad Ducktor decided to enact vengeance on those who stood in his way.
Upon reaching his breaking point, he attempted to abduct Mickey Mouse to gain access to the Wastelands, however upon breaking in he found the way there. He was greeted with open arms by the citizens as he gathered his resources quietly. However, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit caught on to his plans but was too late as he gathered enough resources to build an army of drones.
Upon creating his army, he unleashed them onto the world where the massacred innocent civilians. To ensure his revenge plot would work, he made sure to target close ones of the ones he hated the most. He would even go on to brainwash civilians metaphorically and literally in order to make them fall into despair and kill each other. In order to kidnap 16 selected members to participate in a killing game, he decided to lure Scrooge by endangering one of his family members, as a result he managed to kill him and capture the participants for the killing game. He erased their memories of the 8 months leading up to the incident and took them to a castle where they would partake in the killing game.
Ronpa and Friends[]
Chapter 1[]
Mad Ducktor met Mickey snooping behind the hidden panel in the library leading up to the mastermind's panel. Knowing it was too early for him to make any direct fatal moves against the participants, he opted to erase Mickey's memory of entering the room instead and sent him back to his own room in order to continue using him for his plans.
Chapter 5[]
Oswald started becoming a threat to his plans, as a result he decided to dispose of him. He teamed up with Monobulb in order to pull off an elaborate murder scheme. After locking them both in the library, he hit Oswald with a crowbar in order to frame Donald before stealing the knife he was holding before fatally stabbing him twice. He then moved the body to the puppet stage where he hung Oswald's corpse by his hands using a sailor's knot in order to incriminate Donald further. This eventually led to the trial falsely pinning Donald for the murder and initiating the execution phase. However, despite this Mad Ducktor was ultimately dissatisfied with the outcome as it went against his plans on wanting the survivors to remember the massacre he caused on the world and decided to have Monobulb halt the executions and give them a chance to figure everything out properly.
Chapter 6[]
After being revealed as the culprit behind Oswald's murder, Mad Ducktor decided to step out of the shadows and face the main cast directly knocking away Gearloose's deceased portrait. As he slowly revealed bits and pieces of the puzzle, he continuously mocked the ones that died and insulted the participants. When revealing they lost their memories, Mad Ducktor attempted to have Mickey play a game of how much time were erased from their memories or he'd cut off his hands, however Minnie decided to answer it herself. He soon decided to reveal that he had wiped out nearly the rest of the world and killed off many of their loved ones. The others tried to refute him in disbelief, however the Mad Ducktor decided to show them irrefutable proof by showing videos and images of the atrocities he committed. The others were completely shocked and heartbroken and the Mad Ducktor gloated about his crimes to them.
He then gave them two options, to live in the castle for the rest of their lives or to live outside in a crumbling world. Mickey and Minnie both decided to cheer the others up and to not give up hope as the Mad Ducktor tried to bring them down using pessimistic and "realistic" language. Despite gloating about his crimes, Donald called him out saying that most of his success was all because of Gearloose prompting the Mad Ducktor to violently cut him off before realizing he's playing right into Donald's emotional trap. When he failed to bring the participant's spirits down, the Mad Ducktor decided on a third option where he decided to have a final duel with the Duck Avenger. Despite the others' protest, Donald decided to agree on it feeling guilty over their rivalry leading to this.
The Duck Avenger took his stance against the Mad Ducktor prepared to fight him. However, unknown to Donald, Mad Ducktor had a giant Monobulb bot ready to kill him. The others decided to rush in to help save him. When they managed to thwart the robot, Mad Ducktor grew furious and decided to try to stab Mickey from behind, however the robot crushed the Mad Ducktor killing him for good.
