Mahito is one of the two titular villainous protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE episode, "Shigaraki VS Mahito". He is the Cursed Spirit of hatred and the arch nemesis of Tomura Shigaraki.

He was voiced by Sean Chiplock, who also voices One-Shot Wren from SMG4.

Personality

Like his opponent, Mahito takes a lot of childlike glee in killing, even more than Shigaraki. He typically responds to threats with snide remarks. Near the end of the fight, Mahito demonstrates his manipulative side, taunting Shigaraki for his tragic past with the intent on killing him. However, when this fails, Mahito becomes cowardly, attempting to feebly run from his demise.

History

Mahito is first seen killing several civilians in a subway, being unseen thanks to his invisibility. Shigaraki then suddenly shows up, noting that he heard of a powerful villain and suggests recruiting Mahito to his villain league. Mahito objects, referring to them as social rejects, and decides to kill Shigaraki instead. Shigaraki sends Nobu out to kill Mahito, which he easily kills and uses to attack Shigaraki.
