Mecha Kong: Battle? Is that what you people down in the little town of yours call what happened?
Leonard: Uh... it wasn't...?
Mecha Kong: No... it was a slaughter...

~ Mecha Kong to Leonard about the "battle" of the Monster-Verse

Mecha Kong is the main antagonist of Blunt Brothers Production series Triangle vs. Monkey, serving as one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside The Developer) of season 1, the main antagonist of season 2, and the secondary antagonist of season 3.

He is the mechanical version of Monkey.

Appearance[]

Mecha Kong resembles a robot ape resembling Monkey with an cape and glowing red axe similar to the Monsterverse King Kong's axe.

Personality[]

Mecha Kong is cunning and deceptive, being smart enough to lead an army. He also tends toys his opponents taunting him of Mothra's death his hands. He is serious in combat when he tends to take down his opponents. However he can be curious as he spared Triangle and Monkey's lives rather than killing them so he can see who can win.

However he is also an coward as the Developer noted he was begging to he spared when the Militia opened to invade his universe. He claimed it as "joining the winning" team. It would be shown in Season 3 conclusion where he left the Developer and Prime Mecha Triangle on their own to fight after having his face torn off by Triangle, implying he will ditch his allies if they are loosing.

History[]

Triangle vs. Monkey Season 1[]

Mecha Kong first appears cameoing after Triangle and Monkey defeats Mecha Triangle and falls in a collapsing hole of their Biome where he recovers the mecha's head.

His first full appearance is after Triangle and Monkey escape, falling off of the cliff of The Biomes. Mecha Kong heads towards The Militia's fortress by via aircraft and exits out it and goes through the main entrance of the fortress. Mecha Kong enters the room the Crimson Hunter was in, restoring his missing arm near a machine. Mecha Kong seems unpleased and frustrated as he chats with Lennard and asks him if he and The Militia found the remains of Triangle and Monkey and the Router. Lennard replies no, but tells him not to worry about them as he believed they had no chance of surviving a fall from the cliff near The Biomes. Mecha Kong threatens him with his axe and tells him not to underestimate them as he turns to leave the room. Leonard sees he is carrying Mecha Triangle's destroyed head and asks what it was, to which Mecha Kong lifts up the head and tells him it was just a souvenir as he then leaves the room.

Triangle vs. Monkey Season 2[]

Triangle vs. Monkey Season 3[]

Trivia[]

  • Mecha Kong is based off Mechani-Kong from King Kong Escapes being an robotic double of King Kong which would later inspire the creation of Mechagodzilla who later fought King Kong in Godzilla vs. Kong. However he is modernized to be more towards the Monsterverse style getting cues from Monsterverse Mechagodzilla.
